Hi Brenda ☺️ Thank you for you message 💕 I checked Procreate in regards to your entire canvas turning bright blue - I believe the bright blue showing up is a technical issue. You could try refreshing the app or re-downloading Procreate as a final option. As for the deleted parts returning, it’s possible that your hand accidentally touched the screen (while you were trying to erase) and did an undo action. I hope this helps Brenda 💕

I have struggled for quite some time with not getting the eraser tool to work as an erase. While watching a different video, the person started going over some of the individual settings for things in Preferences. I know it sounds stupid, but I didn’t go there to check eraser settings. Once I changed one of those settings, I could use the eraser tool. It might be helpful to let people know some of the settings being used. I’m a newbie, so please pardon my lack of knowledge. This is was a very good tutorial and I’ll be watching more! Thanks!

Thank you so much, I found your updated video just before I hit this message. Works perfect thank you! Another easy way i found is to open the photo app and the procreate app side by side, find the photo you want in the app, press and hold your finger on the image and it will isolate the main area and you can drag and drop into procreate and it comes in as a transparent layer without the background. 👍🙏🏻✌️
