I think one of my favorite things about Trevor is that he has depth. Sure, he looks good & has a very successful career but he also likes to surf. He has a very old soul. He is very versatile - from the music he listens to to the clothes he wears. He has a dope fashion sense. He moves with intention. The boy has a rat tail in the back of his head for crying out loud lol. My point is it's something about him that makes you want to know him inside and out. He just has such a authentic energy about himself 💯
Trevor can vocally run laps around a lot of the male singers of this era.

This is the one! Trevor has so much personality and talent, been watching him since he had that video for “drop it”. (When he hit that perfect stance from a front flip, i was shook). He also seems like a genuinely pleasant human being no matter how evil the industry has tried to be to him.
My favorite parts were the pause after he mentioned the Elvis movie and us learning about him whooping a@@. Lol (I really feel that sentiment too, do no harm but take no sh!t). Such a great episode!

This podcast makes my soul and heart happy. I have seriously been starting every Saturday by watching this show! I get heated when the people around interrupt while I’m watching, it’s on that level now 😌. The guests have been great and you guys have been even greater hosts. The conversations always flow seemlessly. It was a pleasure to hear more of Trevor’s story and it’s amazing to see his growth in the entertainment industry over the years. I can’t believe “Let It Shine,” was so long ago. His top five’s were all great and I was pleasantly surprised that his ear appreciates the artists that have come before him. I am so thrilled he made it clear Jazmine is his fave and deserves all the praise - she’s been long over due for hers, by the way. (She would be an amazing guest as well 😉) I continue to be in awe of you guys for this show and what you’re doing for r & b. The genre has been so neglected in the respect aspect for so long when it’s soooo responsible for the success of many other genres in music. I can’t say it enough that I’m thankful for y’all and this podcast and I wish it had come along sooner. 🥰🥰🥰Keep them coming and shout out to Trevor for not allowing the disrespect and standing up for the woman in his presence that day.

Ok so now that we're doing underrated indy artist, let's have Kevin Ross on the podcast. Tank practically co-signed Kevin Ross's artistry last week on DL Hughley radio show. Besides Kevinrossmusic is R&B and he gives great interviews.
I think this show was developed for the new Artist, and also to give the flowers to some of our veterans of yesterday, and I am shocked that no one ever says Al Green. He had it all he had stage presence, he sang his ass off, he also wrote many of his songs, and Love and Happiness and Let’s Stay Together are classics that will be around forever, he’s a veteran and some of his songs people know throughout the world, and no one ever says his name. I hope you all try to get him on this show. He is up there in age, and I still don’t believe he gets his flowers 💐
