- Today we will be finishing the install of my DIY carbureted turbo build on my 1973 dodge charger 361 big block mopar. this engine is very similar to the famed motorhome 440 but with less bore and stroke. The upside of this engine is that it has more compression and a hotter cam than any motorhome 440 so even though the cubic inches are not there, the little 361 should still be able to hold its own.

Nice!! If you decide to do a re-ring, get some Hastings chrome rings and deglaze the cylinder walls with a medium grit stone and clean thoroughly. It will take a while for the rings to seat, but the chrome rings will be impervious to boost and resistant to contaminates (dirt/dust/debris) that boosted engines have to deal with.
I might just do that! I've pushed this motor about as far as I can go without breaking a piston. I'd like to get some forged pistons and rering this engine
