Mayurbhanj Chhau bY Gurukul Chhau Dance Sangam (GCDS)

Born to a Royal Ancestory of Renowned Mayurbhanj Chhau performers, Rakesh Saibabu and Rajesh sai babu, the grandson of "SANGEET NATAK AWARDED GURU ANANT CHARAN SAIBABU", has very successfully carried forward the legacy of this traditional dance form throughout the years.
GCDS,a registered institution under the Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860, has been running actively in Delhi since 1979 through guru-shishya parampara. Our dance academy was found by MAYURBHANJ CHHAU GURU JANME JOY SAIBABU and is presently assisted by his son Rajesh and Rakesh Saibabu, offers a complete training in different art forms and provides an ideal learning space for newcomer as well as the professional dancer.

yes they have done it beautifully but the caption it mention that it is a chhau dance ..are you this the chhau dance ?because as far i know chhau dance is the one where dancer uses heavy mask on their face and their costume are full covered once.

chau means step by step which u can see in the dance very clearly see the dance how they giving more imphasis on thier foot work step by step and its origin place is mayurbhanj after that its spread to sareikela and purilia todays it becomes three separate form of dance belive it or not odisha always been the land of dance and music and various art forms and around the state are also profited by its culture .

@@AbhiGblackbird you are not wrong Abhi this chhau dance is Mayurbhanj Chhau in this they don't wear the mask. Masks are only in purlia and saraikala chhau dance.
