İbrahim Pasha has dark clouds over him... Sultan Suleiman makes the hardest decision on his life. He can't protect the person who has protected from anyone, from himself by deciding him to be executed. The great fellowship started in Saruhan Ranch lasted for long years comes to an end. Suleiman gives İbrahim of Parga up silent hangmen.
Suleiman orders İbrahim to be executed whom he protected even from himself via the judgment of the council. However, he consults Ebussuud Efendi to apply the order. Ebussuud gets shocked and asks for time from Suleiman to be able to give him an answer. Hürrem is also unaware of the situation. She thinks she won't be able to get rid of İbrahim whatever she does. On the other hand, she hasn't seen who Sultana Şah really is. She is pleased that she's good with her. Hürrem also incorporate her in the foundation's charity works.
However, Sultana Şah reveals her true colors with the arrivals of her husbad Lütfi Pasha and her daughter Esmahan.
Prince Mehmet regrets that he caused his favorite Nurbanu' miscarriage. He blames himself. However, he starts blaming Mihrimah after her secret revealed and the siblings fall out with each other. As Hürrem gets involved in their fight, it gets bigger.
The day Suleiman has been waiting for comes. Ebussuud has found a solution. Suleiman needs to sleep for İbrahim's killing. Suleiman won't be able to sleep peacefully anymore. He either needs to apply his decision or change his mind. He invites İbrahim over for iftar one night. İbrahim spends the night in the palace without knowing what will happen to him. As Suleiman is knocked out cold, the silent hangmen knock out İbrahim.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

@Leo On this point I disagree. She did not admit her sin in the front of everyone ... Remember when Fatma and Gulfem learned the death of Mustafa and blame her... She hide her sins by saying that she is blameless and saying that it was the will of Suleiman .. Yes Suleiman deserve the anger and I consider him as the true villain of MC but she refuse of take her the responsability publicly when she make a plot with the help of Rustem and her daughter to make think that he was with the Shah ( I will talk about it when we see the video when they learned Mustafa death). Remember even the incident with Gulnihal and her burned face, when once again denied everything in the front of everyone... The most honest on her sins is Safiye Sultan who admit clearly in the front of everyone who she is (for example on the fact that she said very clearly to Ahmed who is Sultan on the fact that she was behind the death of Mahmud instead of hiding behind the will of her son Mehmed III) . But that's just my point of view :)

Ebusuud Efendi was an outstanding scholar and great judge during Sultan Suleiman and Selim ll. They perfectly chose the actor Tuncel Kurtiz (RIP) playing him.
Except for flogging the woman erroneously accused of adultery and the nailing of people to doors and the lifelong torture of the guy who accused Ibrahim. That didn’t get resolved.

What a work of art this turkish series. Complex and expensive work of art. The boy Ibrahin made me cry, the adult actor is also stupendous. In the pandemic it was this unbelievably well done series that consoled my loneliness. Love it too much !

Ibrahim loved Suleiman with a loyalty that never asked anything in return. Even saved his life twice. Then......Ibrahim changed.
I think one of the show's biggest missed opportunities was choosing to have Shah be one of Vaild's doughters and not Suleiman's half sister. I would have been amazing to see her legitimately side with Hurrem. Have be one of the few people to release the kind of person Ibrahim really was. Have Mihrimah and Esmehan actually be friends.
Ibrahim broke Suleyman's heart, due to his relentless hunger for power and wealth.. until his greed knew no bounds anymore... poor sultan, he had to behead his friend as a ruler in order to protect his throne.
And Sulltan brokes many many mother’s haert’s.

You can see the grief of suleiman if he losses ibrahim. To think he already had decided to execute him. He really loved ibrahim, but ibrahim's ego keeps bigger and bigger. If suleiman did not stop him, later ibrahim and mustafa will eventually make a plot to kill suleiman and hurrem's children.

Whereas Hureem was a stronger and more intelligent woman who knew what she wanted in her life and how to survive to protect Suleyman and her children.

It's hard when someone you grew with, spent so much formative time with, that you care for, changes and does things to hurt you. I went through it myself and that sense of pain when it finally occurs to you that things have changed beyond repair and you have to move on, it stays with you. It's way too easy to just ignore it and remember the good times and ignore the bad. When it happened to me, it coloured all of my future friendships and made me never fully trust most people.

I hightly dislike Show Ibrahim and he was unbearable to me ... But what is this interpretation of the law?? It is very scary. Imagine that after this execution, people ottoman decide to send killers on their victims and tell Ebusuud and Suleiman that they are not responsible because when their hitmens took the lives of their victims, they were sleeping just like Suleiman did to Ibrahim... Suleiman and Ebussuud Efendi will be embarrassed to punish them. It would be better to show all the acts that the historical figure Suleiman did before and after the execution of Ibrahim, it would have made more sense.

Earlier in the series syleiman promised to Ibrahim that he will protect him even from himself. In order for suleiman to keep his word and in the same time to execute ibrahim was for him to fall asleep while execution is being carried in order for him to not be able to prevent ibrahim from being executed.. beacause even though he gave the order to execute ibrahim, if suleiman was awake at the moment of execution then he would have to stop the execution in order to save Ibrahim. Ibrahim's down fall was his ego. He thought he was smarter than Suleiman and his people. He began to believe he controlled the Sultan by his love for him while he didn't love the Sultan except for his power. Hurrem was smarter than him easily. And the sulttan, once he had the veil removed from his eyes, was far more intelligent. He would have easily overtaken Mustafa because he taught him to follow him unquestionably since he was a baby. This could be seen several times but most notably when he did not want to marry the woman the sultan chose for him and when he cinti ued to chase the woman he loved. He would have placed his own son on the throne and ruled through him.

It is sad that Shah like Hurrem like Hattice before they all turned them against her. Even one. They all bashed themselves gainst Hurrem and lost. Had they truly made and stayed friends with her. They would had all been alive. But they were all arrogant. In truth, all Hurrem did was love him and protect her kids. But they saw her as a threat. Also it didnt help Ibrahim that he made an enemy of the judge while Hurrem was seen as a dutiful Sultana with her charity work and her devotion to Suleman.
