- Bekok is a small town in Johor, about 24km away from Labis. It is the western entrance to Endau Rompin National Park and has a waterfall known as Sungai Bantang Waterfall. Bekok also houses several aborigine settlements (Perkampungan Orang Asli), such as Kampung Kudong and Kampung Kemidak.
The town's name probably originally arrived from the Hakka dialect word "Mukok", which means "the corner", where the town is in fact a remote town located roughly about 10 km from the junction of the Federal Route 1 and later accessible via railway.
Captured using Panasonic Lumix S1 in V-log in December 2022.
Color graded to own taste using a film emulation powergrade as base. Added grain.

Appreciate your effort to bring us the mostly forgotten corners of Malaysia. You have the photographic and voice talent to make longer documentaries. 3 mins is too short in my opinion but I figure not many people would find such places interesting.
Thanks for watching and your suggestion 👍 totally agree not many will be interested in those places, as many still don't appreciate old values.
Being a person who like vintage stuff, I'm doing this series out of my own curiosity and interest as I have never been to many of those places myself, hence the initiative to capturing them in travel log + documentary style.

Bekok is near Simpang Bekoh town. The two towns are just the opposite. Each near the Jasin - Tangkak border.
