I appreciate his unique style of showing and building emotional power through his actual delivery and flow. For me it adds an extra layer of personal texture that your average rapper often lacks. His delivery and cadences are deceptively technical. You'd understand this if you rapped/ wrote or tried mimicking him. If you'd just see his "diva theatrics" through that lense, it might help you to understand that it's part act, but really it's who he is and how he chooses to express himself through art. I was never a wrestling fan and thought it corny, childish, and lame, but I can appreciate a showman and someone who's proficient in a technical skill, and I do like how Tom's incorporated his love for wrestling into his art. It's like basketball, some people just don't get the draw, but others study it in detail and see an intricate chess game with infinitly possible moves and expressions of skill. Peace.
