I saw this highland cow tutorial this morning and off I went to DT to gather all the materials. I found everything I needed except for the peppers but I did find a medium sized plastic carrot. Will just cut down, paint and attach those. This little beauty is adorable!! Thanks so much for posting this tutorial!

Oh I love the highland cow. Im just finishing the mini duck & bunny. My DT got a case of jenga blocks the other week & I bought 10 boxes so this is next on my list to make. Going to DT to get teddy bears & veggie pks tomorrow.

I love,the highland cow but a cat bit my hand n it's really swollen n had to get 8 shots for rabies just in case the cat was sick I still have 4 shots to go the only thing not swollen is the pinky finger n my thumb. Keep on crafting I'll be watching happy easter.

i used the clay to make the horns baked them and then painted them and added wire and glued them in for the head same as the nose instead of the wood

Hello I love this idea I couldn’t find any peppers in my DT what can I use in place of ?
Hi Araseli, you could try tinfoil, and wrap some twine on it or you can buy some bone colour felt, draw a horn shape x2 for each horn. Hot glue on the edges, leave the inner horn open , turn inside out, put some stuffing and hot glue shut. Hope that makes sense 😅
What else can you use other than the jenga blocks non of my dollar trees have any
Hi, I've seen some crafters make a Highland cow with a pool noodle. Have you tried ordering the blocks from DT website? I've heard you can get the blocks shipped to your local store. Or if you sign up on their website, they email coupon codes for a flat rate shipping. I've seen they email coupons for $5.99 flat rate.
