I just finished this adorable bee with a few different variations- couldn’t find black fur yarn so I used fat black yarn and as it was too cold to run out for a foil pan from DT I made my wings out of yellow tulle , black chenille stems trimmed with silver trim . Oh and my husband liked it without eyebrows. But this too was fun to make and as always the instructions were excellent! Thank you

For the honey dipper handle, the wood handle of a DT foam paint brush can be used instead of cutting down a dowel. I keep those handles once I can no longer use the foam brush portion. The foam part just screws off.
Great idea . The only thing I would think is it being too short .
@@thecraftyshopper4007 some of them are a bit short but others are more thin and are also longer. I measured the longer ones against my actual honey dipper and they’re comparable in length. I just really like finding ways to do things that don’t cost more money.

These look so easy to make. I have a question. Why didn’t you decoupage these like you did the Gingerbread man?
That's a longer process and I was just looking for simple. I know a few crafters on my page are not a fan of that, lol. I like seeing the wood grain on the hive and the bee I was happy with as is 😉

I don’t understand your counting. You have 12, 13, 14. Etc. I how are you counting. Could you please explain. I think it’s awesome!

Well depends on what part of the video you're talking about. I'm either telling you the amount of blocks use on the build (per roll) or counting the blocks on row.

I’m 80 yrs old it takes me longer to figure things out.lol! Did you design this yourself? I haven’t seen another like it any where. I like it a lot. Everything is bees this year. Great job.
