Turned out great, my wife brought me this kit for Christmas and my son brought me some aber photo etched parts and a load of paint etc. I haven't made a model for 40 years so watching lots of videos before I start. Thanks for sharing your build.
I'm currently building this myself and I have to say, that I have saved every one of your build videos,,,you have done a splendid job and we must always remember that we build our models for US,,,NOT for others,,well done John, all the very best.
Hi John. Wow!! What a huge tank. Came out fantastic. Nothing wrong with your modeling skills. Those figures are amazingly lifelike. That's why I like watching your channel. Can't wait for the B.U.M. Enjoy the day. Ray L
Thank You for the inspiration, I have had this kit for a while and your video has motivated me to finally get this kit built. You did a fine job on this kit and I hope to “borrow” a few of your ideas you used during your build. Kind Regards!
another great build John! well done! since watching your videos I have gained more confidence in my modelling even been trying my hand at weathering! :) thanks mate!
It looks fabulous John. According to my sources, camo was applied in the field by the crew using whatever means was at hand. Some crews had access to spray guns. Some crews had to apply the thick paint with mops, brushes, or their hands. Quite often, no two panzers looked alike, with many showing streaks, runs, and dribbles. So I think you did a wonderful job painting such a huge kit.
Believe me if I had space I would build a dio for it, I have so many ideas for it. But unfortunately I just don't have the space to even build it not to mention a place to put it afterwards....
What a monster!! Lovely work again John. The photos do it far more justice than the video. The weathering and zimmerit came out brilliantly. The figures are superb also. Great watching your videos, please keep them coming. Thanks
Amazing build John! I was inspired to buy this kit when you reviewed it, and I only hope I can do it justice, as you have. Still my "go to" man for armour builds... Thanks mate.
That's a great job hobby boss should have more hatches open for the scale you done well to make it realistic will try a few of the things you do trying myself to get back into it didn't realise it's quite expensive now.
I like it, very good camo. Figures are showing that you are stepping up your game. It's the well groomed crew with ties, closed collars, shaved faces, etc; though I suppose if you are going into combat and you may not make it, it pays to look good. Too many years in the infantry. My son walked two weeks with local boy scouts and he and a friend wore ties, about 90 miles. I haven't seen him wear one since. Carry on!!
This video inspired me to get back into scale modeling and to try my hand at this very model. My 55-year old eyes like a lager model to work with. I am in the process of researching a particular Tiger I to try and re-create. i would like to do one with Zimmerit and with some battle damage (pockmarked from shell hits and missing Zimmerits). I want to show a battle worn Tiger complete with some crew members in relaxed poses, as if they were about to move up from the rear or had just pulled back to re-fuel and re-arm.
Nice job, looks good. Currently building one of my own and was enjoying it until I got to the suspension. Now I just want to burn the effing thing. Who came up with that shit. ha ha
John. That was a fabulous build. So interesting to see it unfold. Your figures are bril. Just a question I have based on something I heard on another channel. If I let the ads run fully rather than skip you will get a few pence more. Let me know please as I will do that if it helps you. You help us with your great videos.
What means"the best"?I like your Videos, more then those of some(self named)"profesionals".You don't try to tell the watchers that your way is the only way.Go on that way

Cracking job! The figures and the zimmerit set it off nicely. I like the wear and tear on the tyres too - I'll be trying that! Cheers.
Another great build. Don't let the naysayers get to you. I'd rather watch your channel because it's real.Until the next video, cheers.
