Oil Change Maintenance Light Reset 2006 Toyota Sienna and More

Here is how to reset the maintenance required light on the 2006 Toyota Sienna van and many others in the Toyota lineup. First step, turn the ignition key to the run position without starting the vehicle and then select the odometer setting using the odometer trip reset button. Next step, turn the ignition switch to the off position and remove the key for two seconds and then put it back into the ignition. Next step, while holding the odometer trip reset button down turn the ignition switch to the run position without starting the vehicle and continue to hold the button down until the five bars On the odometer screen have all disappeared and the odometer miles have displayed themselves again. Final step, turn the ignition key off remove the key for two seconds then install the key in the ignition again and turn it to the on position and start the vehicle to verify that the lamp is off.
