- On our summer 2020 road trip, we visited the famous and historical Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta, Canada. We were actually there visiting the spa for massages, and during our visit, we had a look around the "castle in the mountains"! We wanted to show you around the main areas of the hotel and provide some helpful tips to help you navigate around during your stay. Make sure you watch until the end for a look at a secret passage, and the famous ghost bride!

Beautiful Hotel for sure. I did a part of my Chef’s training as “Chef de Partie” a good 20 yrs ago in Banff. We had a few Chefs Conferences there too , through our CCFCC membership ( Canadian Culinary Federation of Chefs & Cooks) . Plus I’ve stayed as a guest throughout the yrs. My daughter just came back from staying there recently. Her bill cost her $1000 per day. So, lots of luxury and can be costly. However, it’s always brings me fond memories.
Above Banff Springs is another Resort called “Rimrock Resort”. It too has luxury in the mountains ; just a tiny bite cost effective ( not much - a little- lol ) The Ghost Bride is indeed a story. I’ve never seen the ghost, However at night, I’ve heard strange things throughout the halls. It’s brought chills up my spine a few times. Thank you Andrew 🙏 I’m glad you had a chance to see Banff Springs - it truly is a luxurious Castle .

Anyone know the cost per night?
I just looked if I checked in tonight, 629 per night Canadian. That’s typical, this hotel is one of the nicest in Canada. It is peak season too.

There is a fitness centre. It’s to the left of the spa. I couldn’t go in, because you need a guest keycard.
