Thanks for that. Used to go down to Bombo beach via Jamberoo occasionally. Not to swim, but to wander around the nearby quarry - which is fantastic when there is a bit of a swell. I don't know whether you're old enough to remember Aunty Jack, but Bombo quarry is where she rode the motorbike during the credits. EDIT: I've just checked your other videos and you know all about the quarry! Cheers,
Wow... Aunty Jack! Yes, I'm old enough! Ha ha. Don't remember the bike though... The quarry is amazing.. Glad you enjoyed the video. And glad you found the video about the waves at the quarry! If you grew up in the 'Gong I have plans for other videos.. I was exploring the cliff above Sea Cliff Bridge yesterday. Found some very interesting stone work... I can see myself doing a lot about the mines .. Thanks!
Another beautiful part of Australia 🦘, video really appreciated as a lot of the stuff on RUclips isn't great. I didn't know where Jamberoo was and thought perhaps it could be in Victoria where I live..... Dandenongs. Beautiful Australia.
Thank you for the comment David😃 I visited the Dandenongs many years ago. I was very impressed! You probably found it but Jamberoo is on the NSW South Coast close to Kiama. It's an area where the mountain range is very close to the ocean. A lot of diary cattle and milk is produced regionally. Just for some extra trivia!
I remember about 5 or 6 years ago my breaks overheated in My FG Falcon with 5 of us in the car coming down there it was quite scary but i managed to pull her up and wait until they cooled off then got back on the road.
I remember when it was dirt. Corrugations on the bends were fun. Just trying to figure out where I stuck my car into the left hand side in the middle of the night.
You're kidding Mick! Dirt! No way! Rather you than me... Water on the road must have caused havoc. Did you find your spot? Thanks heaps for contributing 😃
I really enjoined you driving down Mount Jabaroo as l am retired l do like going on a drive in my 1997 Toyota Hilux and l have been planning to do this drive for a while now l have to do it but that 4X4 SUV with a caravan found out the reason you don't take are caravan down Mt Jambaroo because l could see the smoke from the disc pads
Thank you! Most of the roads around Fitzroy Falls and Robertson are good. And usually quiet too. Yeah... the caravan driver really didn't think about his route did he?
@@gdvdigital6534 Actually l haven't been down that way for many years but l do live in the Campbelltown area so betting there doesn't take long to get there
Yeah😁 I'm using Woolworths as a mobile provider and their service is definitely a downgraded version of Telstra. But $30 a month is worth the occasional dropout.😁
Hi. This is just South of Macquarie Pass. If you drive towards the coast from Robertson there is a turn off to the right. Or, head to the small town of Jamberoo. To get to Jamberoo come inland from Kiama. Enjoy!
Ha ha. BS Two completely different videos. My video is about a place called JAMBEROO. Your video is about a drag race JAMBOREE. Thanks for contributing though😄
First I saw your video then I remembered🤔, I have the same title, kinda... So then I wrote a comment saying 'He copied my video'. There's nothing wrong with your video, I'm just amazed that we had the same ending. Have a good afternoon mate. Also it's okay if your slow I'm completely okay with it 🙂👍
Nice one. I think the waterfall track into Coffs is a good run too! If you don't mind single lane sections! Caravans? Nuff said. Long time ago I was forced to get a truck license because my trailer was over a ton! There was talk at the time of forcing caravan drivers to get an extra license! Of course due to a lot of screaming that never happened.
Thanks! I agree about the Waterfall track. Great road😃 I reckon going up is better than going down. What do you think? They should have forced caravan owners to upgrade their licence. Totally agree with you!
@@gdvdigital6534 Had to think about that one, up or down? Probably going up is a better drive as it's a little less stressful! Going down, better views? Maybe. Yes they should be required to do specific training and testing. Some of these rigs are like small semis!
I prefer driving up too. You can really attack the corners! Macquarie Pass is good for that. But not Bulli Pass! And think of the age you're allowed to tow a caravan???

Love this bit of road. Would make an awesome course for a hill sprint competition.
What a great idea! Love it! Have you seen the one on the Sunshine Coast? Behind Noosa. It's blocked off most of the time. Open once a year I think.
@@gdvdigital6534 Nope. I'll go see if I can find some footage. Cheers
It's called Noosa hill climb😀
Thanks for posting this. A very nice country drive. I like your other ones too!
Glad you like them!
It was a great road to race bikes in the early seventies.
Wow... I had no idea! It would be great to see. Thanks for the input

I did that trip thirty years ago, must do it again 👍
It hasn't changed Bill😁
In Australia, the nature in winter is as beautiful as in summer, and the road is very interesting.😊
A lovely comment😀

Hi Johnny. Not a good feeling .... Glad you're okay. Do you still have the car?
@@gdvdigital6534 Yes stilll have it and time for an uprgrade to a new car
It's difficult to choose which car to buy. So many choices and variations!

Thanks for commenting on the Picton video too.
Bit of a worry that you would lose GPS signal so close to the top.

Just a few trees in the way there I guess
😁
What was the caravan driver thinking??? (See about 7 minutes in)
Yeah. That's what I thought!
Where is it?
