Improving sleep, exercise, diet, productivity and other goodies. Your video inspired me to make a Lowlight vid talking about my slump which I hope to get out tomorrow. Been vlogging my struggles trying to break bad habits today and plan on doing it for at least 30 days. I was just about to go to sleep at 10 to wake up at 6 but saw ur video and got the motivation to reflect and draft out the video for tomorrow. You are such an inspiration. Never forget that :)

I found the activities video to be really helpful. I thought it was clear that the video was about what activities are harder to stand out in for college admissions, but maybe changing the title could make it a little more clear that even if someone is doing these activities, they can still get into a top college, especially if it is an activity they are truly passionate about.
Iris I literally can’t believe you’re getting hate. You’re one of the most determined, kind hearted bad bitches I follow on RUclips! You’re so helpful for rising seniors like me and you’re so awesome 😭❤️ keep making these videos, you’re too good for us we don’t deserve you 👏🏻
hi iris! i'm a rising senior and love following your videos (ive been passing them along to my younger brother haha !) mostly because of how well-spoken, excited about helping others, and ambitious you are. your channel has been going so far and im rooting for you - the sky is the limit for ya :')
Hey Iris, just wanted to say I love your content and you’re super helpful-please don’t stop making content because some haters say things like that. Thank you and stay strong!!
Hey, thanks so much for presenting the truth even if it's tough at times! You're right about how social media seems to be a place where everyone shares their highlights and not their "lowlights". We need this kind of transparency in the internet with everything going on! :) I hope the school's reopen safely (fingers crossed).

Also your intentions are always more important that what people disregarding disclaimers assume them to be! I believe you shouldn’t take the video down!! I was watching your content as an international applicant from Poland without a clue on how US college applications work, so I really appreciated the strategy you walked us through. For American applicants it’s more common to know some shortcuts and they might feel like those videos stress them out etc., but for us, internationals, it’s of the absolute value of gold! I got into Rice as an international student on a full financial aid and your videos helped me in the process A LOT! Now I’m after my first year and still coming back to your channel! ❤️
Hi Iris, I just wanted to let you know how amazing I think you are!! I am a rising senior and I have been watching your videos for months and... I can not thank you enough!!! Thank you so much for all your help, you are really helping many people out!! You are such a wonderful person, so keep being yourself! Keep growing! I can't wait to be part of your journey!! So yeah, keep being the strong person you are and always follow your passion!!! Thank you again and sorry I got a bit excited, idk if you are going to read this.

Iris, dont listen to those haters. I love your videos. The first video I found from you, was about the Harvard lawsuit. I loved how you are direct in your video and every advice you give has like a baseline. It's more clear than others. Please keeping more videos. I love you😚
I havent seen the video yet but you literally helped me a lot and im so grateful and thankful for your kindness your an IDOL I really admire your work and energy
Girl I just saw about this on reddit and don’t let any of this discourage you. You have truly given me hope in my college application process and I think I would’ve been completely lost if I didn’t watch your channel. Don’t let anybody bring you down girl because in the end most of them didn’t manage to get into Stanford, yet you did
Your channel is hands down the best college channel I have ever come across. I completely agree with and see your point with the video on activities that don’t help your college application. I’ve seen basically every how I got into stanford video and learned so much about the college app process and it’s kind of become very visible to me now that those activities genuinely don’t help applications. Because of you, I’ve started and finished an entire passion project which I will release soon. I love your channel so much don’t let the haters get to you❤️
I was just scrolling through applying to college and saw people talking about how you were getting hate so. Just here to say that you're awesome and my mom and I love your videos!
Don't let the haters put you down. You have 7.47k people from all around the world that think you are amazing and inspirational and I'm one of them. You have helped us so much with everything you have done! You don't deserve any hate that you get, from people that watched 1 video or 2, they can't define you. You know who you are and your subscribers know that you are the kindest, most authentic and helpful person out there. You literally spend so much time every day to help us, you post very helpful videos, you answer to all of the comments or questions we might have, you have created a slack group which gave us so many new opportunities, you are doing a newsletter and you are even writing a book! Thanks for everything you have done, we really appreciate you!
Your advice is super helpful to me and the rest of your subscribers!! I can tell that you're very genuine and the OPPOSITE of pretentious from watching your videos. Haters are probably just jealous of your accomplishments, so don't give them any attention. Keep thriving! :D
hey iris! just wanted to let you know your videos are really helpful to me and I hope you continue to make them! I'm sorry about the hate you've been getting but try to stay positive and keep pushing through it! ^-^
You're doing great Iris. You have inspired me so much already and I think you should just completely disregard the haters :) In the long run, it's the real fans that count 💕
By far my lowest light is me coming to the realization that I have no friends. I let people walk over me and take advantage of me. no one talks to me at school and no one ever reaches out to ask if I am okay. (Yes i am fine, I have gotten used to taking punches). I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and remember to not let the world change you, change the world
I love that mentality in your last line, William. Keep being you, and you will attract like-minded people. Everyone also has a different definition for a “friend”, so understand yours, and those who share that definition will come. Hope you’re having an amazing day as well!
Thank you so much for this video it's so authentic ! Also can you please do a video about time management : studying - maintaining a relationship etc..
i recently stumbled on your videos and just want to say i find them super interesting and informative. sorry to hear about the hate you've been receiving and hope you're doing well!
Awe, this is the first video of yours that I am watching. I think I learned of you, I think from watching Arnold . I am the mother of one of his good friends. I was thinking as I began to watch that i was impressed with you.😊
Don't take it down. Its a great video and it is perceived by the majority of us just the way it was meant. Haters just want to hate. I hope you keep on being you, because you are inspiring and amazing. Keep up the good work.
Hi Iris. Your videos are super helpful and informative. You’ve motivated me to begin a passion project revolving around film and business. You’re a motivated person seeking opportunities these haters could never dream of having at this age. Their hate is ridiculous and the fact that they do it on Reddit makes me laugh. Reddit is irrelevant. You’re relevant. That’s why they’re threatened by your presence. Keep chasing your dreams and goals. Ignore them.
the fact that you are debating on if intentions are more important or the result makes you a good person because most people wouldn’t overthink so much and debate with themselves so much for other people to benefit. ily
Everyone gets trolled like that. People confuse intelligence and confidence with arrogance. You are the opposite of arrogant...you are matter of fact. The growth rate is great, that pisses them off more than anything else.
omg girl this was such an amazing video to watch - loved your vulnerability and honesty. especially about the part on reddit hate...i was on a2c soo much for a big part of this past year (especially during app season), but the toxicity on that sub can be overwhelming. you absolutely do not deserve the onslaught of internet hate that happened; even if people didn't like your content, it's absolutely unnecessary to personally attack you :/ so massive respect for the mature way you handled everything. college apps are long past me at this point (yay c/o '24!), but you earned a new sub regardless :) also - i love love love the idea of this lowlights series. would you be okay if i made a similar series on my channel inspired by this? i'd credit you and link your channel and everything, but if you're not okay with it i totally understand too!
Hi Annie! Thanks for the kind words and welcome to the channel :) yes, you can def do a lowlight series! Hopefully it can become a trend of some sort, as I think it’d be hugely beneficial to shifting internet culture! Love your channel btw :)
🌟 Even Iris said “I wish I had someone to tell me these important things when I was applying,” so the fact that she is spending hours to months now- using this platform to help us in any way possible, is just luxury. I mean come on, if you have a problem with Iris (when it comes to her RUclips) then you are just soooo unappreciative. Be thankful and use this opportunity to help your self. 🌟 Ps. There are actually ACTIVITES THAT DO NOT HELP YOUR COLLEGE APPS, and THESE are those things: ruclips.net/video/S3JTPc0NneI/видео.html
I'm another girl that has been dealing with a LDR and honestly it is pretty rough not being able to see your S/O often,, even less often because of the corona pandemic but what I think a healthy way to approach it is that you need time set aside for each other. This way you both don't consume each others time constantly, but you still have a designated time to "be" with them. Whether its texting or video chatting its important to stay in touch. What I do is that me and my boyfriend watch anime together! We set a time that works for the both of us and then we use a free video streaming service to watch together. Sometimes we turn on the camera to see each other but if not that then we just text our reactions to each other. (Btw you obviously can do this with other things like watching your S/O play games, watching movies or TV shows together) I found this to be a good activity to do especially if you can't physically be there with each other, having a shared activity is a great way to keep your relationship going.
I watched a couple of your videos and when I saw the thread about you on reddit, it really just reeked of jealousy. The whole subreddit only has a handful of verified admissions officers, so when the sub itself is a place to receive advice from unqualified high schoolers, they really have no place in criticizing your work. I loved this video and your maturity, you are so above the hate
Keep going strong, Iris! You've already been so helpful, inspiring, and reassuring for countless people like me 😊 Also, bit of a random question, but how much sleep do you get now/did you get during the school year? I'm trying to figure out the minimum amount of sleep possible to still maximize productivity haha... Also, I think a video on the sleep habits/schedules of high-achieving students would be really helpful!
Thanks Caroline! It really varied, but usually about 6-10 LOL (I know wide range). Honestly I always struggled with sleep too but I use this website called sleepyti.me to calculate optimal wake up time
Don't apologize for who you are at all. No one kicks a dead dog. Here's some words for you: try not to get people mad at you and try not to get mad, this generally creates peace. People will always have problems with successful or people who are driven. Keep on keeping on. You have great intent. Tell them to not watch it's not for them. Keep being inspiring as a young Asian female, thank you for representing. You are in a growth mindset, don't get yourself down, and don't apologize.
Hey iris I had a question. In terms of your video pal program, did you end up linking it in your application or did you just explain what it was. I am trying to figure out the best way to share everything that I have done.
Hi iris it’s my first time watching your video and ... I know it’s awk to say this but I had a feeling u could speak canto/ or your ancestors are from Guangdong lol good video btw! Subbed and keep it up hehe
Personally I didn’t watch the video because as a rising senior I know I don’t really have the opportunity (I have a small amount but not really to change my ECs) & for my mental health and to not feel bad I chose not to watch it. My advice is if you know that the video isn’t really going to apply to you don’t watch it if you know you can’t handle it mentally/emotionally.
Hey, Iris! Your videos are SOOOO HELPFUL! Thank you so much! But I have a question, i hope you can answer me. I’m from Russia and I want to do an internship in a Russian company, will it has as great impact in my application, as an internship in USA company? Also I want to do other extracurriculars: write a book and start a digital community for teens, where I’ll teach them how to earn money in digital digital field and share my experience in this; I plan to do this in Russian language. Will it be a disadvantage, compare to doing all this in English language? I really hope you can answer me, thanks for your content🥺❤️
Hello Iris, I was curious about the types of questions you asked in your interviews for see the voices, in order to get compelling and insightful answers. Thanks, Aaron
hi ! i love how u always reply to peoples comments it relaly helps. and i wanted to let u know i commented on the video before this ! please let me know what u think thank u
Hi Iris! I just wanted to share my thoughts on your content. I believe that you truly do stand by your fundamental belief in putting your interests before college admissions. You couldn't have been as successful as you are if you didn't harbor genuine interest and passion for your activities. However, this belief isn't fully exhibited in your channel because of conflicting titles -- they go from "Activities Colleges Don't Care About" to "Why You Should Never Do Anything for College". These titles are really antithetical, and viewers may have a hard time finding your fundamental belief within this. With your increasing influence, you do indirectly accept responsibility in shaping the college admissions process. Some of your videos, although not intentionally, may perpetuate the idea of doing things solely for college and I know this is the opposite of what you really mean. As a "college RUclipsr" there is no easy way to escape this. The college admissions process you are helping students with IS flawed and broken, and making videos about it does mean you may be a part of this. However, what you can do is reshape and reframe your videos -- specifically your titles and thumbnails (and possibly reflect upon your current commentary; consider if what you are saying truly portrays your intents). You have control over how you portray the process that you know--the one that is sincere and authentic. Clickbait-y titles are good for views; they catch the attention of an audience that is extremely competitive, which sometimes happens to be the same audience that contributes to the toxic college admissions environment that we all know. But with this, you lose the sincerity that I know you deeply value. I'm sorry you've received such unnecessary hate that you don't deserve, and I understand and see your true intentions. (I hope my points make sense) Lastly, I don’t think there’s one concrete answer to intentions vs. perception. You are making videos that are constantly being perceived by a variety of audiences. You might have to consider balancing the weight placed on both of these. But rather than trying to cater towards others, first consider your true values. If your values aren’t being fully understood, then maybe it is just a matter of reflecting on your content and what ways you can better exhibit your ideologies.
Hi Elle, First, thank you so much for this well thought out response. I really value your insight on reflecting on whether the framing of my content is truly representative of my values, especially with my titles and thumbnails. There’s definitely an art to appealing to people’s insecurities in the thumbnails, but then alleviating them in the video content. I’m still a work in progress, and I hope to get better at influencing the college admissions space with more positivity and authenticity. Thanks again for this message, I really appreciate your input!
As far as that controversial video goes, I would take it down, add an explanation at the beginning, and repost it. I think that's the best way to handle it.
Hi Iris! I just had a question, did you include in your college essay about your YT channel? I was wondering if that is also helping students get into top schools. Thank you for you videos btw, I appreciate your honest ones. They really do help me! Keep making videos!
Hey I like your videos, I learn a lot from them. I do agree with how lowlights help you grow. My lowlight this month is that I am trying to grow my RUclips channel, but I’m not going very far with it. If you could give me advice, that would be nice. I am Bryan Davis by the way. Please let me know.
Hey Bryan! Thanks for sharing your lowlight. I struggled with the same thing. I think growing on RUclips is all about consistency and patience. This channel also wasn’t growing too much until 1-2 videos that went big. It’s all about the patience, bc you never know when that “big” video will be. I also recommend Ali abdaal’s IGTVs. He has some good content about building a RUclips channel. Finally, I think having a really really small niche is great for starting, and your niche can expand as your audience size expands. I hope this helps!
@@irisfu6929 Yes, Thank you Iris! This does help, I will work on it, and be patient. Also, I think you live in my area, we should totally link up sometime. Let me know.
im really sorry you experienced a lot of hate :/ ppl that spend a lot of time on reddit are always super opinionated and exclusive, dont listen to them. regarding the video, i think its best if you maybe change the title or add an extra note in the description (?) i can tell that your intention was to just help and you have a disclaimer already but i think the advice in the video is too niche. being told that a sport or club is bad for strategy can lead a lot of people to think that they shouldnt do it, even if they enjoy it. its helpful for people that do want to strategize and adjust their extracurriculars to stand out, but it might not helpful be for the average applicant looking for blanketed advice. sending love xxx
That’s a super good idea! Just renamed the second part of the title and previously linked follow up vid in description and pinned comment. Hopefully people will see it and get the right message - Thanks for the suggestion Katrina!
Hi Benjamin! Have you tried cold calling? I've found that that's almost always more effective than emailing. Also, if you haven't sent over 100 cold emails yet, then keep going haha, bc it is a numbers game
Ok im gonna be honest her I used to not like this girl but it wasn't her. It was me. I did refrain from saying anything online but it was just as bad for having negative thoughts on her. I am so sorry. This is immensely embarrassing but Im saying this so she realizes it has nothing to do with her. It's pure jealousy. I was so stressed and was trying to find videos online and I just kept seeing these successful students and I felt so discouraged. All of these youtubers clearly stated they are not bragging at all and the videos were purely for the aid of others and I knew that but still decided to take offense to it. I was just so stressed out and had so much anxiety around college. When I watched stat videos I felt so bad about myself and thought I was useless and just really doubting my worth. Again it had nothing to do with these creators it was me. When I saw how well Iris was doing I did not have the right reaction and support her but rather want to put her down. Again I am so sorry for ever thinking of you like this I was just so mad at myself for not being as good as you and everyone else. I kept comparing myself to you and these creators and that was my mistake. We should be uplifting all of you and supporting you. I was just jealous seeing someone do so well and that voice in the back of my head telling me I am never going to college or Im never going to reach my dreams of being a dermatologist and so on. I was just really down and I watched these videos with the wrong perspective and possibly at the wrong time. I realized my mistake and I am so sorry for all the negative thoughts I had about you. I am so grateful for you content and all the resources you provide. Im sure many other high school students can agree that your channel has helped all of us with so much. Congratulations on all your success and all your projects. You are doing so much good for this community. Just ignore the hate. The negativity that surrounds college youtubers is from people having issues within themselves. Again sorry for ever thinking of putting you down im not proud of it at all. You videos are perfect and dont need to change anything. Sorry for saying sorry so many times and making this so long. You dont have to accept this apology and I completely understand if you dont. Keep doing what your doing and congratulations on getting into Stanford!
Hey Lensa, I really appreciate this comment and I'm sorry that the college admissions process is so stressful. I was in your shoes too, and I hope that these videos can encourage rather than discourage you. Thanks again for the comment - I really really appreciate it. Best of luck with everything!
You're probably getting hate because people are in quarantine. They're anxious about their lives, and unhappy, and they need their mental 'stimulus checks.' They want to feel passion doing something but they feel trapped and isolated in their home. So they resort to hate, which is a much better inducer of passion than love. It's hard to love someone you know only through the internet, but it's easy to hate them for any reason. That's why the internet is full of people who hate each other. They're like hungry beasts and if you look at them long enough they will devour you. But if you look away, you will leave unscathed and they will be left to devour each other.
aw iris :( I think a lot of the reddit complaints pop up every year with any newly accepted college youtuber who has clickbait-ish titles of definitive ways to get into college when no one really knows how to get in, unless they're admissions officers, but it's weird/wrong when it goes beyond that and they make personal insults... overall I think your content has a more positive impact on a lot of students who are introduced to college content for the first time through channels like this. (but that's where it gets tricky, bc if it's the first time they're seeing it they may take it as gold and why A2C redditors get upset if it could be false/harmful info) however, I think it is a bit odd when rising college freshmen, including you, advertise themselves as experts on things like "campus life" when they haven't set foot on campus yet- maybe you didn't make the graphic for that specific speaker ad? as nice as it is to fill bullet points to sound more impressive, I was kind of confused why that descriptor was needed when you already have really impressive achievements that are more accurate (this may be an assumption). but I want to end this long (sorry) comment on a positive note: I really appreciate how you have things like a "fails" resume and "lowlights" videos, that's a side I haven't seen a lot of college youtubers show before :)
Hey! Thanks for this comment - I’m not really sure what you’re referring to as the “speaker ad”. I haven’t talked about campus life anywhere on this channel, and I havent spoken about it at events either (I always speak on my high school apps experience). Would love to know where the misunderstanding lies so I can address it for the future.

ahhh this is literally the sweetest thing. hope you took something away from the video and I hope you're having an amazing day! 💕
Girl I just saw about this on reddit and don’t let any of this discourage you. You have truly given me hope in my college application process and I think I would’ve been completely lost if I didn’t watch your channel. Don’t let anybody bring you down girl because in the end most of them didn’t manage to get into Stanford, yet you did
ahh thank you ❤️this means more than you know
Your channel is hands down the best college channel I have ever come across. I love your channel so much don’t let the haters get to you❤️
That’s so good to hear! Thanks for leaving this comment and can’t wait to see your passion project!
@@irisfu6929 Ahwe thank youu I'm so excited! And I'm glad my comment helped!
⭐ Thank you Iris, you are so honest, amazing, funny, and sooo helpful. You make us happy and determined ⭐
Thanks David! hope your boarding school apps are going well!
Iris Fu Thank you! Currently preparing for the PSAT and working on the essays 😁 👍🏾
Yes, don't let haters put you down, you're and amazing girl that are doing amazing things, keep moving forward
great video love the new idea cant wait for the real college content even if its online. keep on making videos
ahh thanks so much! excited for what's to come
Your advice is super helpful to me and the rest of your subscribers!! I can tell that you're very genuine and the OPPOSITE of pretentious from watching your videos. Haters are probably just jealous of your accomplishments, so don't give them any attention. Keep thriving! :D
Your mom is super wise. Reddit is filled with people who troll just for the sake of trolling.
Sigh 😔
They would never say that stuff to your face, that’s why they crawl into their reddit corner and complain. Keep doing great things!
😂 thanks Anmol! Also I love that profile pic - truly legendary
hey iris! just wanted to let you know your videos are really helpful to me and I hope you continue to make them! I'm sorry about the hate you've been getting but try to stay positive and keep pushing through it! ^-^
thanks!
Awesome content! Saw your post in our mini group in FB! 😁
Thanks Marvin, and thanks for stopping by the channel :)
i recently stumbled on your videos and just want to say i find them super interesting and informative. sorry to hear about the hate you've been receiving and hope you're doing well!
Awe, this is the first video of yours that I am watching. I think I learned of you, I think from watching Arnold . I am the mother of one of his good friends. I was thinking as I began to watch that i was impressed with you.😊
Welcome to the channel, Robin! Arnold is a great guy and I’m so happy that we were able to connect through him 😃
Don't take it down.
🙏🙏🙏
the fact that you are debating on if intentions are more important or the result makes you a good person because most people wouldn’t overthink so much and debate with themselves so much for other people to benefit. ily
i actually didn't really think about it that way - thanks for pointing this out! ily too
Everyone gets trolled like that. People confuse intelligence and confidence with arrogance. You are the opposite of arrogant...you are matter of fact. The growth rate is great, that pisses them off more than anything else.
HAHA truth! I love how direct and straightforward your comments and thinking are too! 🙌
You are the best Iris no matter what!!!
Remember that!!
You’re so emotionally mature it’s amazing
omg girl this was such an amazing video to watch - loved your vulnerability and honesty. especially about the part on reddit hate...i was on a2c soo much for a big part of this past year (especially during app season), but the toxicity on that sub can be overwhelming. you absolutely do not deserve the onslaught of internet hate that happened; even if people didn't like your content, it's absolutely unnecessary to personally attack you :/ so massive respect for the mature way you handled everything. college apps are long past me at this point (yay c/o '24!), but you earned a new sub regardless :)
also - i love love love the idea of this lowlights series. would you be okay if i made a similar series on my channel inspired by this? i'd credit you and link your channel and everything, but if you're not okay with it i totally understand too!
Hi Annie! Thanks for the kind words and welcome to the channel :) yes, you can def do a lowlight series! Hopefully it can become a trend of some sort, as I think it’d be hugely beneficial to shifting internet culture! Love your channel btw :)
@@irisfu6929 thank you so much!! :)
We all have moments and say mean things to one another, so even the people that were degrading Iris on Reddit, learn to be thankful and thoughtful.
Thanks David 🙏🙏
Iris Fu Ofc 🙌🏾
(Btw you obviously can do this with other things like watching your S/O play games, watching movies or TV shows together) I found this to be a good activity to do especially if you can't physically be there with each other, having a shared activity is a great way to keep your relationship going.
oh my gosh waatching anime together is actually the cutest thing! I love that. Thanks for sharing
I really appreciate this ❤️
Keep going strong, Iris!
You are inspiring and so deserving of all your achievements 🤗
People who hate it are just being sour...Ur videos are amazing
dont take the video down it just proves to the haters they have power over you. *sigh* cancel culture these days

Interning at a Russian company and writing a book in Russian will be in no way a disadvantage! In fact, it shows diversity. Good luck!
Iris Fu thank you so much!! 🥺❤️

Don't worry what people say at the end of the day it doesn't matters
By the way I love your videos
(I hope my points make sense)
Lastly, I don’t think there’s one concrete answer to intentions vs.
Hi Elle,
First, thank you so much for this well thought out response.
When do you start school?
We don't know yet 😬supposedly 9/14 ish but they will announce move-in date later this month

@@irisfu6929 Do you know if it will be virtually, in-person, or hybrid?
Hi Iris! I just had a question, did you include in your college essay about your YT channel? I was wondering if that is also helping students get into top schools. Thank you for you videos btw, I appreciate your honest ones. They really do help me! Keep making videos!
Hey! I actually didn’t start my RUclips channel (posting consistently) until after college apps, so no, I didn’t include it
Hey I like your videos, I learn a lot from them.

“This too shall pass” 🙌
im really sorry you experienced a lot of hate :/ ppl that spend a lot of time on reddit are always super opinionated and exclusive, dont listen to them. regarding the video, i think its best if you maybe change the title or add an extra note in the description (?) i can tell that your intention was to just help and you have a disclaimer already but i think the advice in the video is too niche. being told that a sport or club is bad for strategy can lead a lot of people to think that they shouldnt do it, even if they enjoy it. its helpful for people that do want to strategize and adjust their extracurriculars to stand out, but it might not helpful be for the average applicant looking for blanketed advice. sending love xxx
That’s a super good idea! Just renamed the second part of the title and previously linked follow up vid in description and pinned comment. Hopefully people will see it and get the right message - Thanks for the suggestion Katrina!
Iris Fu of course! ty for making such amazing videos and being so open ❤️

Hello, don't mind the haters, they just jealous, how to get an interns??? cold emails dont be working for me... plus I dont know anyone
Hi Benjamin! Have you tried cold calling? I've found that that's almost always more effective than emailing. Also, if you haven't sent over 100 cold emails yet, then keep going haha, bc it is a numbers game
why did i think LDR was Lana Del Rey
Iris Fu thankssss. Again sorry for being such a jerk before. Your videos are so helpfulllll. Love your channel and videos
You know LDR really sucks😣.
Yeah 🥺🥺
(but that's where it gets tricky, bc if it's the first time they're seeing it they may take it as gold and why A2C redditors get upset if it could be false/harmful info)
however, I think it is a bit odd when rising college freshmen, including you, advertise themselves as experts on things like "campus life" when they haven't set foot on campus yet- maybe you didn't make the graphic for that specific speaker ad? as nice as it is to fill bullet points to sound more impressive, I was kind of confused why that descriptor was needed when you already have really impressive achievements that are more accurate (this may be an assumption). but I want to end this long (sorry) comment on a positive note: I really appreciate how you have things like a "fails" resume and "lowlights" videos, that's a side I haven't seen a lot of college youtubers show before :)
