By the end of this boss guide you will have all the information you need to master killing Commander Zilyana the Saradomin God Wars Dungeon boss in Old School RuneScape. I’ll go over recommended requirements, how to get there, gear and inventory setups, what you need to do to enter her room, the minions, the boss, the loot fight, mechanics, and a live kill at the end of the video. I love a lot of the details you provide and actually walked through everything, i should add tile markers for the boss room indicating when to shoot would be great for the noobs.

it was cool! followed everything in the guide. got 9 kc so far. the most challenging thing is venoming the body guards while keeping Zil from closing the gap but yea ill be back soon enough

Great vid. If your going to camp Zilly for thousands or even hundreds you should always try to get the best range gear to increase kills per trip then bank at Nex. Faster Kills means less supplies which ends up being more kills per hour ending up with possibly more loot.
Might be 9 months later but you helped a iron get some solo kc ty sir!

I would say that making starlights left click should be walk here and shift click attack. Makes it easier to just left click saradomin and not have to press shift each time you want to attack Sara you’ll end up accidentally holding shift too long and just drop your brews or food lol
Maybe the first few times but you get used to it quickly, it’s really helpful in other places as well like bandos/zammy to do the walk under method
@@ShadowalkrOSRS oh for sure i use the walk under method for bandos. I actually did your set up for awhile but I’m a scrub and every time I would like get too close after attacking I’d be focused on clicking away and forget I was still holding the shift key and would just start dropping food and restores lol

Interesting to watch this guide as someone who just wants the boss kills for Fremennik diary and having done the other three bosses first so I already know the mechanics of GWD and the ecumenical key, yet still decided to sit through the first fifteen minutes of the video before we finally get into the actual boss guide, where he just stays silent while kiting the boss (and me on my herb run so wasn't even paying attention to the video) LOL
funny how much faster things feel like when im the one doing vs when im watching somebody else 😂

there is an option in menu entry swapper to make shift click "walk here" globally
Yes but you’d still have to right click zily to attack since that would remove her left click attack option. That setting is great for bandos or k’ril though!

Understand that he just barely made it through at the end there. with top specs like 99 def and 99 range. Regular person he is rcommending like 80 range and def willl have to run significantly longer. and it will overlap as well. Understand that items that help have percentages with them as well.
so having high stats with high items help doubly.
if anyone watching this, use serp and blow pipe to hit each minon once (must hit dmg) to vemon them both , they will die almost the same time as zil
Honestly this step is mostly pointless, If you have rigour, and blowpipe with rune darts,
which is mostly likely otherwise the raddy dart dont panetrate adn you take dmg each round at each attempt at trying to frig poision the minions.
I find it best jsut to rapidly kill the minions with the rune dart with the use of rigour. Keep things very simple so all that remains is refined to a tee.
Just do the kill at the end forget the toxic part.

I don’t see the point of using nex bank like you’re saving Sara kc but having to get ancient kc anyway kinda pointless if you ask me but each to their own I guess..
I agree with your logic here.
The ancient kc is so much faster to get than the Sara kc you’d have to farm from 0 again (1kc per kill) after teleing out to bank, you just a kill couple ancient spiritual mages (5kc per kill) and you’re in the bank and you’ll keep all the Sara kc from your last trip
Getting ancient kc is faster than getting an ecumenical key or sara kc. It just saves time
Nex KC is quick and easy to stack up, and you can get like, multiple bank worth. Then you just Sara KC after banking.
Ancient mages are like 5-6 kc each
what plugin is that plugin shows the percentage over your helm and blowpipe ?
It's called "weapon charges", definitely a very helpful plugin! There's also one "item charges" as well for teleport jewelry, potion doses, etc.
