Audiophile suggestion here.... don't use the BT option if you don't have to, use the phono cables. BT is a digitally compressed version of the analog audio. Analog sound (like from vinyl) is continuous sound, which is why people consider analog to be better... although it will degrade over time, whereas digital doesn't degrade, but is not continious. Digital is compressed and chops the sound into lots of tiny parts... a bit like how a film has 24 frames. But if you use the cables with your record player, you will get the full continuous uncompressed sound experience... I mean, you won't notice much difference... but you'll know in your soul! I mean if you went to the trouble of buying this old technology, you might as well get ritual right! 😁
Next week I'm gonna order the lilac Audio Technica LP60XBT when I get paid I love the color it's so pretty it's one of my favorite colors and my bedroom is lilac

@Joe6640 Yeah Audio Technica Lp60x and LP60XBT are the best record players ten times better than the Crosleys Victrolas and all the suitcase and all in one record players I have a red Audio Technica AT-LP60 I got in 2020 and my sister has a blue suitcase record player but last week I got her an Audio Technica Lp60xbt from Barnes and Noble for an early birthday present and it’s black and she loves it

@@ikarlichannel she loves that it has Bluetooth so she can pair it with a Bluetooth speaker or headphones. Audio Technicas are really the best record players I recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade from the cheap suitcase or all in one model record players
I was at the Barnes and Noble today in the mall and a couple was about to pick up a Crosley suitcase record player but I told them that suitcase record players are bad quality for vinyls and kept giving them advice to get the Audio Technica Lp60xbt instead and they bought it
I just came out of Barnes And Noble and I bought my cousin Kechette Billie Eilish Don’t Smile At Me and When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go vinyls. I already ordered her Happier Than Ever vinyl and it’s gonna be delivered to her next Wednesday
The new vinyls I’m gonna get are Positions and Yours Truly by Ariana Grande Romance 2 Lp red vinyl and Familia green vinyl by Camila Cabello Wonder by Shawn Mendes In The Meantime by Alessia Cara and Reputation by Taylor Swift and Reflection and 7/27 by Fifth Harmony

Now that you have a decent turntable, I’d say get some proper vinyl sleeves. Sure it’s a bit much to spend but it definitely protects your records from long term damage. I’d say to check out the RUclips Channel “Vinyl Eyezz” or “too many records” if you haven’t already. They are good at talking about the do’s and don’ts of vinyl and what to get if you want to expand your record collection. I could go on for days but that’s at least to start off with.

@@ikarlichannelStart getting into yo ilder music that were specifically mastered for vinyl. Get a 70s pressing of the White Album or Abbey Road and you'll be blown away. Or even Dark side if the moon. Btw get a amp if you can afford one.

One important thing that I will add is this......
Get a small (inexpensive ) circular level and make sure a TT is level in both directions .
