Please how did you get the-d you added in the pyytää?
Thanks for asking! -t- in ”pyytää” is the so called strong form. It goes through consonant gradation and changes into its weak form -d- in all other persons except he/she/it/they: pyydän, pyydät, pyydämme, pyydätte. Hope this makes sense!
