Wow, Renogy has come a long way. That inverter is built with some good stuff. What I like is that the fuses are in one place and can be checked relatively quickly. They would be the first thing to check if you have to open it!
My original renogy 3000 was OK but would never have sustained over 2500 for more than 10 minutes without over heating. It's over 3 years old, I sold it a few months back.
@ I agree 100% that if someone needs to run any inverter over 75%, they need a larger one to meet that 75% and ensure the longevity of their equipment! I have been running one inverter for close to 6 years because I do not go over the 75% threshold!
It is amazingly strong and much more quality parts in it compared to the Renogy 3000 I had 3+ years ago. The huge upgrade in quality with Renogy has come about during late 2023 since new folks joined it. They are no longer connected to AIMS which had to be a great thing to get free of.
Curious as to the transfer switch functionality. Perhaps a follow up video showing it in action. Curious if the two built-in case outlets if and how are isolated (or not). Are those two built-in outlets powered by the transfer switch AC input under certain configurations/situations?
FYI, that KOFI has a dash between the KO and FI (KO-FI). Could not get it to work as listed in the video. Just donated and left a message/request. Thanks.
Neat product. I am a little untrustworthy of things with blue tooth, apps,...basically any internet connections. Remember Chinese "smart" coffee makers with spyware that could also pick up sounds in your house, or exploding pagers, exploding phones or "smart tv's" whereby the whole screen is facetiming the occupants and big brother watches you.... Though I do use and acknowledge what "they" can do with my phone, tv..., batteries and hacking the main components to over charge/overheat... is a paranoia I try to avoid. Outside of that good job.
Thats a nice rig John! I love my CNBOU inverter but i mite just look into the new Renogy. How ya's been bud? I never hear from Billy anymore and i cant get ahold of Bob from theromdyne...?
Same here on the 2 wind guys. Nothing from them in long time but I got a missed call from Bob a week ago, but he never answered call backs. His health is bad, Bill too. Wish the whole group would buy places here where you got 10+ months a year growing time. The CNBOU is a cheapy, ok depending on the model. The Renogy is WAY better than the 3000 I got from them thats 3+ years ago.
Seeing the inside of this have me stressing out for one reason, it has what seems like super capacitors inside .., I've recently wanted to DIY some myself to an inverter externally but I'm not sure what to do
Viewers watching videos like this one are interested in the features and specifications that make this inverter better or worse than the competitors. Please try to provide that information in your future videos.
I added the direct link to it under the video, with that you have a manual you can download and full specs. The only thing missing in the manual is how to insert the wires into the line in and line out terminals so I covered that here.
I would love to see a review of Rego 3000w inverter/charger. Supposed to compete against Victron. It’s designed for 50amp rv or boat me I live on a boat trying to design my off grid system. It’s a high frequency inverter and I’m very unfamiliar with this style plus other videos on it suck.
@@WTFgus I checked the MFUZOP and it does have it the only other one I can find is the Brand: Sunivora 3000w but it barely has any reviews which makes me suspicious 😕
Hopefully you recognize what I'm saying in this comment. A minute ago you made a comment alluding to something that could possibly be happening in the very near future. Believe me things are going to start happening. And I hope for your sake and your daughter's sake that you'll listen. The Bible is playing out. And there is very little time. I don't think that I'm judging by saying this. But we've all done things that were wrong. And the only way a person can make themselves right is coming to Christ. When a person surrenders their life the holy Spirit comes into their life and changes their life. It's only by the help of God will somebody be saved. I just figured I would say something.
I appreciate you folks so much. You are my go to for learning all this good stuff. Thank you!!!

Ultra wise!
The Gucci of inverters for sure. Thank you for posting this.

Nice! What about the transfer switch?

Thanks for letting me know about the dash in KO-FI - I'll be sure to fix it in the next video!

Were you able to measure the transfer switch time in milliseconds, or at least try it with sensitive equipment?
John have you did a review of the FCHAO inverter?

Why doesn't more inverters have a 50hz/60hz switch
My MFUZOP 2000 watt inverter (12 volt) has that switch.
@JohnT.4321 do you use it?
@@viyusavery248 Yes, since August its been in use with no issues. The inside of the unit looks similar to the unit in the above video.
@@viyusavery248 Europe uses 50 Hz, so having 50/60 SW opens up a much larger market.

Renogy makes a good product but you have to pay for quality
