- Hey everyone! 🌿🌞 Another Thursday another clawhammer banjo cover 🪕🌸 Here is ‘Been All Around This World.’ The earliest commercial recording of this tune appears to be on a 1946 single by Grandpa Jones. The Library of Congress have a field recording from 1937 but no earlier versions have yet been identified. The origins of I've Been All Around This World are not easy to trace. It possibly derives from a number of different songs.

Your journey continues to impress your viewers with your unique vision. I have read of many comments requesting an album. With today's tech you really don't need a record company. A modest set-up could be assembled with CDs being copied at home and offered as merch on your channel. Perhaps the journey takes precedence now. Interesting concept to spread your work. An interesting concept might be to collect ballads/tunes from the general localities of your interest and offer them also. Business is the not fun side of creativity. Anyway, the journey continues. We are all patiently waiting and listening.

Sounds lovely Talise! Grandpa Jones is one of the reasons I've had a life long love of clawhammer banjo. I used to listen to him and Stringbean play on Hee Haw years ago.
