    I bought the GB70 and a carrying case for it several years ago after reading all the reviews and doing a lot of research. I live in a state where the snow is deep and the temps plummet at night. Unless you can plug your car in at night, it can be difficult to start it in the morning, even for batteries with the highest CCA. The GB70 has never failed me and will take on more than I could ever put it thru. It's the best purchase you will ever make. It's very portable and easy to use. It's also safer to use as well if you accidentally hook up the wrong connections, unless of course you put it into override, in which case it will do you good to check your connections. I was able to do a number of jumps with it and it would still show a full charge. I didn't use it for a full year one time and when I checked it to see if I needed to charge it, it still had a full charge. I used to haul around one of those huge, heavy, lead acid battery ones that were a pain in the ass. You had to constantly keep recharging them after one or two jumps or check them for a full charge before you could use them if you let them set for longer than a couple of weeks. Plus, their life expectancy was short lived after recharging them so many times. I love the GB70 and will buy another one when it comes time to. When that will be, I honestly can't say. It is still performing just as strong as the day I received it several years ago.

      If you plan on buying the gb70 read this, the description saying what litre engine it can start only refers to batteries that still crank but don’t crank fast enough to start. NOT COMPLETELY DEAD BATTERIES. So for the gb70 claiming it can start diesels up to 6 litres it will have absolutely zero chance starting it with a battery under 10 volts

    • @bluegt04
      @bluegt04 15 дней назад

      @@Seeker-vo2tz That's why it's good to do the research and, having some mechanical knowledge also helps. I did my research and picked the right model for MY CAR and not the more expensive higher boost for the diesel engines. It has even started my car when the battery was COMPLETELY DEAD and WOULDN'T TURN OVER. I'm happy with their product and it has served me well. In fact I've even purchased their NOCO Genius charger.

    I used the Type S the other day when i mistakenly left my van on overnight to crack the windows open. Worked right away. Really impressed. I went to get the Noco GBX45 but it is 3x the cost of the Type S Costco. I am wondering why the huge price difference and if it is justified. I just need it for emergencies if my passenger car battery dies. I do appreciate quality and will pay a premium if something is worth it but i don't know what the huge difference is between the NOCO and TYPE S

    Bought a GB150 back in 2018 and it has served me well with my fleet of 7.3 Super Dutys and had no problems starting a truck with completely dead batteries. Recently I noticed it was struggling to start a truck even if the truck had enough battery power to crank the engine slowly. I was going to order another 150 but was disappointed to find that NOCO reduced the GB150s power from 4000amps to 3000 amps. So, I was forced to order the GBX155. I'm very disappointed with the 155 because if I use it to start a truck that is completely dead, it drains the unit completely dead after only 2 tries. And it will only crank the engine about 15 seconds before it shuts off.

      Hi Alien,
      The reason for not stating charge times is because there are so many variables to charge times. From How flat the Jump starter is right through to the power source charging the unit.
      Noco states from 2.7 hours, but we think that could be misleading if you plan to charge it from a USB socket on a 12v dual battery system.
