Heeeeeeeey Angus, lovely echoing bass notes, I can hear the trolls coming!!! 😁 Great trills, great build up!!! I was looking up about Peer Gynt yesterday, and apparently Ibsen also wanted Grieg to write a combination of five national anthems as part of the music. Grieg declined 🤣 yes, you play the build up majestically!!! Bravo 🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🙂🙂🙂🤗🤗

Hello, Angela 👋: Sorry for tardy reply to your comment - I'm very glad that you enjoyed my video performance. Regards to Peer Gynt, yes, you are right: Greig was flattered to be asked to compose music for Henry Ibsen's Peer Gynt Suite, but doubt seemed to set in soon after, and he said he wouldn't be able to get Peer Gynt composed by autumn 1874. Instead,he completed the work during the autumn of 1875. It premiered in late February 1876.
