I don't know when I chanced upon the first OVCC video, but I was so impressed with the conductor and his choir of young voices singing songs that I might have heard on the radio, seeing the incredible talent of these voices and how young, hopeful children could make a song that I've heard so many times into something different/powerful and meaningful. Watching these young voices and watching them growing up over the years and videos, and watching that talent become even more stronger/capable under the care of the conductor, staff, and each other, it showed more promise of the generations. I don't recognize all of their young faces as the choir seems to have more & more voices added, but occasionally, I recognize a face here and there, seeing these young people become healthy, wholesome, attractive young adults. Mahalo to the conductor, staff, parents and most of all the young people that show their dedication, commitment and maturity to pursuing this accomplishment. Each song, each video, each new project touches on each viewer/listener of the choir and changes the world just a little more. A small step, among many lead by the children.
