Hey,recently i learned about the Nyuad, now i have leass then 7 days🐸, i have recently done my 12th/Highschool...now i havent take my sat and ielts yet, what should i do? Drop this year and apply for next Fall Early decision 1 Nov or apply for regular decisiion? And also share if u get accepted
Thank you very much for all the amazing informations Daniella, Really appreciate you helping with these information. This clears out a lot of confusions. Hoping to see you soon 😉😉😉
Hi, besides the tuition fees at nyuad, are the other expenses to be paid upfront to the university or these are just estimations for the the student to know approximately how much things will cost them?
Thank you sis I appreciate the information I have a daughter who want to join NYU abudabi can you please guide her so that she could do the application perfectly hope you do I see in you that there is generosity to help be blessed
I think the closest major to business management / marketing would be business, organisations and society (here is the full list of majors: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/academics/undergraduate/majors-and-minors.html), but either way NYUAD provides scholarships regardless of the major you choose, depending on the strength of your application and financial situation. Hope this helps!
Hii, I’m a student that is currently in high school and I’m working to be like you. Could you tell me what are guaranteed to get you AT LEAST a partial scholarship (50% or so)
It’s definitely hard to say what is guaranteed to get you in, since there is no set checklist and admissions review applications holistically. However, as long as you have relatively good grades / exam scores / extracurriculars and show in the application that you’ve done your research about nyuad and can connect your motivation to your past experiences, you should be in a good position. Hope this helps!
@@DaniellaAruina could you tell me what you put in as your extra curriculars? Or if you happen to have nyuad psych friends with scholarships, could you ask them what they put in? Thank you!
Sure, you can potentially get a full scholarship, since NYUAD is need-blind. To apply for financial aid, you need to fill out CSS Profile (cssprofile.collegeboard.org/). Here are also NYUAD entry requirements: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/admissions/undergraduate/apply/entry-requirements.html
Usually not as much as NYU Abu Dhabi. You can get a scholarship from NYU New York based on your academic / extracurricular achievements to cover part of your tuition, but they do no offer need-blind scholarships unlike NYU Abu Dhabi or some other US universities
It really depends on individual financial circumstances, but for most people in my class, the stipend was enough for personal expenses / going out for lunch / dinner every once in a while, on top of all meals / food on campus being covered as part of the scholarship
If I remember correctly, I don’t think they ask you about class rank info specifically, unless you submit it with your transcripts. Although it is important to have a good GPA and academic standing, NYUAD looks at your application holistically. So even if one might not feel as confident about their class rank or GPA, for example, they can still make their application stronger by leveraging extracurricular / research experience / etc. Hope this helps!
As far as I remember, my high school counselor had to submit my predicted scores and then send the final scores once I got accepted. And for TOEFL, I just sent it though ETS using NYUAD’s school code (which you can also do with SAT / ACT exams). Here are also more details on how to submit your exam scores: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/admissions/undergraduate/apply/entry-requirements.html#:~:text=Exam%20scores%20should%20be%20submitted,using%20NYU's%20school%20code%3A%202562
There is no minimum requirement, as your application is reviewed on a holistic basis, so your GPA, extracurriculars, application essays matter just as much, but the median score of the incoming class last year was 1,500 / 1,600.
It is super helpful. I am applying for NYUAD this year. Ty a lot, I will come back here if I get in :))

Does NYU New York Also give the same type of scholarships?

Do they provide Ph.D programs in chemistry
Yes, they do! Here are more details on the program: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/academics/graduate/global-phd-student-fellowship-in-chemistry.html
Is it possible to study for free if I apply for an early decision?
Yes, NYUAD is need-blind, so they usually provide financial aid depending on personal needs of those who are accepted
What was ur act scores
isn’t that for the US?
How to get in
How much salary did you get?
It really depends on individual financial circumstances, but for most people in my class, the stipend was enough for personal expenses / going out for lunch / dinner every once in a while, on top of all meals / food on campus being covered as part of the scholarship

That's Very nice
I think it is more than 3000 AED

Hi so did you personally submit external exams?
