The great thing about Rlaarlo is they are absorbing all this feedback using tubers such as yourself as quality control. Then they actually respond and fix as literally no other company would. Keep it up bro and love all the videos! 👍🏻
I am really impressed with them taking all the feedback and making adjustments to the car and fixing things and you’re right not many companies do that at all
Ahh machete entered the chat 😂, pretty cool idea and car , thiers race classes with rcs like these for decades nitro and now electric , very expensive very fast , I forget the name of rc . I know they run wide foam wheels in back . I'm going grab one , I'm. Not sure I want get the roller or this guy but definitely going order few parts with it. I was thinking just putting 4s esc on the 3s motor , higher kv .
Absolutely. I follow them on social media and I see their posts about how they are working on feedback in the real world. I truly think that they have been watching the hobby. This car looks like the many speed run cars that hobbyists have been building and testing.
Honestly, it's not that bad even with the issues. I've seen other brands that are way more expensive with unacceptable issues. At least this company sends out their cars to the reviewers and get them tested before the final product for their customers. That alone is top notch customer service IMO.

Really glad you've assessed your car instead of instantly making a video complaining. People gotta remember that it's basically a V1 and Rlaarlo seems to be addressing these issues.
I'm shocked they even bothered making this motor mount option, especially since the AM X-12 came with top loaded screws
Yeah, I’ve seen some videos out there with guys crying like babies about stupid things and I think the car is a great car and I’m really enjoying it but yes, the motor mount is one thing I think needs addressed across all of the models.
Yea but you said thiers a upgraded mount I'm sure it's like 10 bucks lol jees people complain about anything . I hear radio loses transition, I'm sure thier doing 80 quarter Mile away , another guy smacks curb and he's upset arm broke 😂 and too boot getting the rc for free .
I’m not complaining I’m discussing an issue with that mount and that all the models probably should just come with that style mount

@@BarstoneRC have both carbon versions on the way. Plan on using the RTR stock and testing the hype. Roller is immediately getting a 100mph set up out of one of my WL based speed run cars, plus a receiver for my RC4GS. My biggest concern is the tires. Few rc rubber tires are capable of 100mph.

I just ordered the same car but the roller version. I am putting my 100amp spektrum esc along with my 3900kv 3s motor out of my vendetta.
Hi great video. Are you going to a lower KV motor and higher gearing for more top speed, stiffer shocks and maybe a giro etc etc Is it truing straight at 83mph. Please keep videos coming
Yeah, she’s driving pretty straight at that speed but I’m probably going to do a different ESC with this motor and see if I can push it a little harder

I'm seeing a few cars flip at speed..do you think front splitter or just tightening rear suspension should be OK are you getting much lift..thank you all RUclips videos are helpful for us looking early May for delivery so keep the advice coming 😊
I haven’t noticed any lift yet I don’t know if that problem is happening on the carbon fiber version? But so far at 83 mph I haven’t noticed it. And it depends on if they are hitting anything along the way that’s causing any lift.

I haven’t experimented with a lot of tires yet I’ve used the stock ones and the foam tires but I don’t think neither would be great for street racing

Hi good tips on what to look at I ordered the AK 917 CF RTRip & metal hubs & motor mount & body in the frist 500 Than last night ordered the CF roller for parts or something . Got back in to rc last year after 30+ years. Got a wltoys 124016 got it up to 70 mph so far This year I got a snrc r3g belt drive got it to 65 mph so far Than this came out on sale would not pay full price buy now ..

So wanting to upgrade the battery in my Carbon brushless version, what should I get ? I read the speed controller and motor can take higher voltages, so should I get a 11.1v LiPo now ? Will this degrade the e-components over time ?
Running it on higher voltage put a little bit of a strain on the electronics or might wear it out a little faster but it’s definitely way more fun
@@BarstoneRC Surely, so using higher voltage LiPo's will make the motor spin faster, and no worry about the speed controller cooking, thanks.
I think you need to wind the shock adjusters down to stiffen the suspension up for speed running, also lower the front of the car with droop screws. The sway bars also appear to be to soft & need thicker stiffer wire.
I noticed too soft also , sure over 50 it's pulling the rear down
Well, I haven’t noticed any issues yet with the front losing contact or an even be getting to lift at 83 so if I notice something then I’ll make an adjustment
Supposably the fastest gearing for that car and the carbon fiber is 40 / 52 according to them hopefully when I received my carbon one the gears will match up in fit

Yeah from what I seen everyone is doing the same thing as you drilling out the mount hopefully in the pre-production models are the only ones that have that
It’s a 60 amp esc, should handle 4s without issue
I don’t know man a normal 4S is 120 amp
Is good thing what you say, because I pre order the metal chassis roller I want to put my own electronics, and I have email I wanted to know the status of my order, they tell the bash will be launch mid of this month or final days of this month, they are collecting all the information to create the best product any person will enjoy
Yeah, these are basically the test units to see what issues there are or what they need to correct before the final release
Hi Bro nice cool man. I've just bought myself one the Rlaarlo ak-917 its a roller put not sure what electric setup to go with some people say run it on 6s and other say 8s put that's nut can't do this to fast let me know thanks 😊😅😮😮😮

Honestly man, if you’re just gonna be ripping this thing around and not doing speed runs, just put a 3S or max 4S system and it. And even if you want to do speed runs 4s is plenty. If you know what you’re doing with gearing, you don’t need 6S.
