God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. Jesus was called "God" because He is the literal "Son of God". And if a Son He cannot be coeternal with His Father. Christ came out from the Father, as the express image of His Father, and from that exalted position, a son not by creation as were the angels, nor a son adopted as is the born again sinner, but a Son of the same substance as His Father, that He relinquished as Paul tells the Phillippians, to be born of a woman and take upon His divinity our fallen humanity. Jesus calls His Father "the ONLY true God". The only true God has a literal Son. By their divine spirit the Father and the Son are omnipresent, and able to dwell with your spirit.

Nicely done brother Rafferty. However you've just given us polytheism and a metaphorical Father and a metaphorical Son, which leaves us with a metaphorical Gospel, a metaphorical salvation.
This is not polytheism because the 3 are 1. They are one in nature, character and purpose. They are all divine, but have different roles in their plan of salvation for mankind. They are all on the same page and of one accord. Jesus, God’s begotten Son because of His incarnation as a flesh and blood man on our behalf, and the Holy Spirit willingly submit to the Father. Since they are each perfect in love, mercy, justice & long suffering, it is easy to see how they can submit to the Father. It is their choice. We have an example of their oneness with marriage in this realm. A husband and wife must become ONE in everything. This is why God warns us not to be unevenly yoked because two cannot walk together if they aren’t going in the same direction. They must be 100% on the same page for their union to be oneness.

Yes, if all three are fully God in their own right, you have three gods. There is no way around this. You also cannot have a Father and Son relationship but a group of pretending gods. What a slight to the gospel message is this horrendous doctrine.
I so wish that Brother James would just leave his glasses on. It is so distracting with him taking them on and off so much. That is why bifocals were created.

My brother where do you find Good the father God the son and God the holy spirit in the Bible? Why are you preaching speculative gospel. Isiah 8:20, to the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according this word, their is no light in them.
This is what the Lord has shown me, the church has trown truth to the ground, by this trinitarian doctrine no coming into the church. What will you do with John 17:3 and Revelation that speak of the Father and the Lamb.
You do err, sir. You have been bamboozled by a false teacher. The Bible does not contradict itself and what you believe makes God a liar. The Bible is its own expositor - it interprets itself, line upon line and precept upon precept. You cherry pick two verses and use them in pretext to discount the rest of the Bible. Jesus raised up the SDA movement and He also raised up a prophet for this end time movement, and the prophet clearly backs up what the Bible says about our Triune Godhead. There are three distinct, divine entities in the Godhead. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as our Comforter when He ascended to Heaven to officiate as our High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary as our mediator. The Holy Spirit was sent to represent Christ and He does whatever the Son tells Him. The prophets give testimony of the Holy Spirit and so did Jesus. He told us to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Lord has not shown you anything that contradicts His Word or Prophet. You are self-deceived. The Bible tells us that our carnal, fallen hearts “are deceitful above all else and desperately wicked - who can know it”. The church has not thrown truth to the ground - Satan is the one doing that via his false teachers who tell unconsecrated folks like yourself such lies and you believe them, even though the Bible clearly states the Godhead is plural - most especially in Genesis 1.

How about when Jesus was babtised. The holy spirit came down on him as a dove and the Father said, "this is My Son whom I am well pleased". Father Son Holy spirit. I pray you will pray about it and ask God to show you.

If you would look into the meaning of the word OF and understand it a great difference will be your understanding of that spirit. For the meaning of the word OF, is belonging to, and associating with, and the subject matter is Good.
