Hiking with Kids in Utah - Mt. Olympus Trail - Day 3 - 2023

The next attempt in our 2023 hiking adventure in Utah was Mount Olympus. Normally, this would be an absolute must to finish, but with kids it can be pretty difficult.. This video highlights that one hike for our day and our visit to probably the most awesome park in the area.

Thoughts - This was a beast of a hike from the very beginning. We got out of the car and were not adequately prepared for the wind chill. As we hiked 1000 feet up within less than an hour -- switch backs on a mountain make that no joke -- we quickly realized that we may have needed to prepare just a little bit more. When we did finally stop, it started to lightly rain/snow. Our trip down was much faster and I only wish I would have captured a bit more of the hike on video. But, I would do it again in a heartbeat, sans kids (sorry kids).
Awesome Park - Lodestone Park

Thoughts - This park rocked. They had some of the best slides. Rock walls. Swings. Zip line! Plenty of sidewalk to skateboard. And it wasn't just that it was a park, it was so well designed that I may have considered moving to the area for the park alone.
