My beef with his stylists (and Jin's quite a lot of times) is they dress him to look older. Like They emphasize that these are not young and free, but like full of responsibilties and not into knocking you off with sexiness. They rarely give him anything resembling your #6. They always leave it to the maknae line, which p*sses me off, to be honest, considering he's only a year older than V and Jimin.

My favourite outfit is when he was arriving to an event on his own a black car stopped door opened and at first all you see is his leg with black trousers and the most exquisite dark red boot he was wearing the most beautifully cut black suit, but those red boots just made it so simple but elegant and he rocked it💜💜💜

Yes, I also like him a bit thicker than very thin. He always wants to lose weight. In his last live he was 70kg and he's 1,81 tall, so that's quite thin to me for an athletic body (muscles weigh more than fat). And people say the BTS members look even thinner in real life (in pictures/on camera you look bigger).
I mean yeah the say the camera makes you look bigger haha. Seeing Idols in real life when you've only seen them on camera is a very weird experience haha

EXACTLY! I don't get where the tailoring goes wrong sometimes haha. Hmm on me, the monochrome, especially if the cut was beautiful. If the colour palette works and suits the wearer, then I live!

These are definitely some great picks. I'm glad to see my faves mentioned: 1) the puple on purple on purple galaxy suit look, 2) the nude suit from the Rolling Stone shoot with Pharrell, 3) the black pleated dress styled look (the way the garment moved when he walked made him look so powerful), 4) the shorts and harness look from Butter, 5) literally anything related to Fake Love. The only big one that didn't make your list was the Grammy's 2020 look with the pushed back blond hair, denim jacket, white shirt, dark pants and sunglasses. All of his Bottega Veneta looks have been so amazing on him but I especially liked the brown leather suit with the grey inner jacket. They know how to dress him well.

I love this selection of pictiures of Namjoon. As you said, there are too many to choose from...ten years of every occasion! Regarding concert clothes. I'm not sure about the viewers' comments about dressing him a little more sexy. If he and Jin wanted to, I'm sure they could. I feel the designers know what each member would wear. I don't think RM likes wearing lace, ribbons, ruffles, a lot of sparkle, sexiness, etc. (Once in a while) The younger three enjoy wearing things like that...Jimin and JK would show a little (lot) of skin whenever they got the chance. 😅😅 RM has a more serious, intellectual personality. He is a philosopher, poet, and rapper. (not a dancer.) He's very sensitive, and felt a big responsibility within BTS. I'm not sure he would voluntarily wear outfits the younger members would wear....unless someone insisted.😅 Suga and JHope would also wear something similar to the makne, but Jin and RM are the conservative members of the group. (nothing to do with their ages.) Concert Army would go Crazy whenever Jin or RM accidentally showed a bit of skin. 😅 So, I think it's right to dress them all according to their personalities..it makes the concerts more interesting. ...just thinking out loud...🙂

It's casual yet tailored and represents a side of Namjoon. However , for me it's his style at the 3:15 mark. It's a dark smoky grey painted with texture white clouds on a (silk?) blazer with notched peaked collar finished with a circular crystal broch. Circular broch picking up the contrast of the fluffy clouds in an extremely well tailored suit jacket. Him having a high (small) collared & high buttoned fitted black shirt. makes the jackets beauty stand out. It also makes RM's skin glow. It's a stunning look that I want to see more of in a photo shoot. At 3:39 we can see the entire outfit and each time I watch i catch my breath. The beautiful suit jacket is paired with a black slim fitted trouser in the same dark black at his button down shirt. #perfection💜💜💜

RM is in my opinion, a stylist’s dream! He’s tall and he’s got body…he can fill a good look😂. Just curious, what would you consider your preference, a nicely tailored monochrome layered look, or a nicely tailored multi-colored look? Or perhaps it would depend on the person wearing the look?
EXACTLY! I don't get where the tailoring goes wrong sometimes haha. Hmm on me, the monochrome, especially if the cut was beautiful. If the colour palette works and suits the wearer, then I live!

@georgehollins Really enjoying this series, thank you. 💜 As long as you saw the outfit and suffered the proper amount of angst in having to leave it out, no hard feelings. LoL! Narrowing these things down seems monumentally harrowing, so kudos.
These are definitely some great picks. I'm glad to see my faves mentioned: 1) the puple on purple on purple galaxy suit look, 2) the nude suit from the Rolling Stone shoot with Pharrell, 3) the black pleated dress styled look (the way the garment moved when he walked made him look so powerful), 4) the shorts and harness look from Butter, 5) literally anything related to Fake Love. The only big one that didn't make your list was the Grammy's 2020 look with the pushed back blond hair, denim jacket, white shirt, dark pants and sunglasses. All of his Bottega Veneta looks have been so amazing on him but I especially liked the brown leather suit with the grey inner jacket. They know how to dress him well.

The pleated dress also is serving a look!! 🖤 It reminds me of the outfits that BTS wore for the January 2017 issue of Singles Magazine. I love 2018 coat/dress my No 3 look, but I love him in bottega veneta they did so good with this combination. My No 1 look is the brown bottega leather suit over the tweed jacket (double blaster look wow) and No 2. Is his knit jumper and woven bottega leather trousers in vogue Korea. 💜 💜 💜

Regarding concert clothes.
I'm not sure about the viewers' comments about dressing him a little more sexy. If he and Jin wanted to, I'm sure they could. I feel the designers know what each member would wear.
I don't think RM likes wearing lace, ribbons, ruffles, a lot of sparkle, sexiness, etc. (Once in a while)
The younger three enjoy wearing things like that...Jimin and JK would show a little (lot) of skin whenever they got the chance. 😅😅
RM has a more serious, intellectual personality. He is a philosopher, poet, and rapper. (not a dancer.) He's very sensitive, and felt a big responsibility within BTS. I'm not sure he would voluntarily wear outfits the younger members would wear....unless someone insisted.😅
Suga and JHope would also wear something similar to the makne, but Jin and RM are the conservative members of the group. (nothing to do with their ages.) Concert Army would go Crazy whenever Jin or RM accidentally showed a bit of skin. 😅
So, I think it's right to dress them all according to their personalities..it makes the concerts more interesting.

Whenever he wears black turtle neck (yes, one of the recent one when he came to W Korea event), he looks so deym fineee. The 2nd one will be when bts perform at grammy for the 1st time, his hairstyle, the jeans jacket, the sunglass, that will be forever iconic. The 3rd one is, as u included on ur video, RM on MGA 2018. At 1st i thought it's inspired from Korea's royal military clothing. That's what i saw from kdramas.

I also think that you #1 pic is genuinely one of the best of RM for sure but my #1 would have to be what he wore at The Fact Music Awards 2019. I mean, this blue satin ensemble with this belt pops up my mind every time someone mentions RM best looks :) The way it fits on him, is just incredible and how this belt (I am not sure but I think its detachable form the suit? Maybe? Maybe not?? I am not sure) snatches his waist and gives him more hight, is just work of art. It looks like it just made for him but I read somewhere that it was Jaybaek Couture (I am assuming from 2019). I am not sure if that is true or not. What do you think?

@GeorgeHollins I love your picks. I want to recommend 2 additional looks. Both are from RM 'Wild Flower ' Official MV. First the cream and white knitwear. It's casual yet tailored and represents a side of Namjoon. However , for me it's his style at the 3:15 mark. It's a dark smoky grey painted with texture white clouds on a (silk?) blazer with notched peaked collar finished with a circular crystal broch. Circular broch picking up the contrast of the fluffy clouds in an extremely well tailored suit jacket. Him having a high (small) collared & high buttoned fitted black shirt. makes the jackets beauty stand out. It also makes RM's skin glow. It's a stunning look that I want to see more of in a photo shoot. At 3:39 we can see the entire outfit and each time I watch i catch my breath. The beautiful suit jacket is paired with a black slim fitted trouser in the same dark black at his button down shirt. #perfection💜💜💜
