The actuators do need to relearn the positions after you install them I think that's all you were having an issue with at first. I know this cuz I replaced mine in my 02 ram 2500 n it did the same thing and now I think I need one for my 02 jeep liberty hence why I'm watching your vid lol
@@BASgarage shitty man. Yeah I'm a wondering if I should change mine looks like a lot of work and I don't want to do it in the winter. I turned it to cool the other day n it took forever for it to get back to warm n most the time it just gets warm not hot.... I think they just suck
You didn't show the procedure of removing the dash to access the blend door actuator. Are you going to provide that? What's the order of removing the panel parts. What come off first?
How did you know your blend door was bad(any good way to test it)? I flushed my heater core and I got clear fluid all the way through. Still got weak heat though.
@@BASgarage Same... But I found if I turned off the ignition, and set the temp knob to cold, and then restarted the engine, it would reset the blend door back to cool. I also found a "critical" spot on the temperature knob that I could set to "hot" that would allow me to go back to cold without cycling the power. If I went too far "hot" it would always hang up, and a restart would be necessary. Very frustrating...
@@LawernceSimmons yea very mine ended up not working again in the summer and was stuck on heat I even tried replacing the actual a/c heat unit with a used one and it did the same thing. Im really thinking mine was a vacuum leak somewhere.
My 06' facts say the Leak Detection Pump was replaced at 51,000 . Do that and it might stop your engine light from what I've read iand f you have gas odor around the 05' and or listening for hissing around gas tank. I'm hoping to get after asking $200 a piece for 10 items that dont even exist on one I just paid for.
Fuck the rest of the shit I wanna see how you get to the acuater
Do you know any videos showing how to remove the dash to get to the point where you are at the beginning of this video?

Maybe it started working and worked well for a couple months but now is stuck on cool air

Man sorry I don’t, I wish I would’ve recorded it. It was a bit of a process.
