    This looks like bronze.
    I love working with bronze but it gets tougher and annealing temperature has to increase.
    I have never seen anyone working with bronze before so really interested and loving this project. Fabulous work - thank you

    I love how quickly that forged from square/slightly octagonal profile back to round…I find that it generally takes me a minute or two longer. Must find one of those ‘special’ hammers! 😉

      I believe that it’s gold. At first I thought brass, but it seems too malleable for that and stays annealed for longer than I would expect from brass.
