Or anyone ,if a Surgeon gives me orders it's Sir, yes Sir, Right Away Sir ! I mean if you pay for a professional's advice and services ,don't just ignore it After all you paid for the advice right ?
When I broke my leg I had to wait in the ER with no food or water for 6 or so hours before I went into surgery. I was fortunate that the nurse let me have a piece of ice once in a while so I didn't have clam mouth.
She has all the dirt needed for her _rebellious_ teenage phase. It didn't say for obvious reasons, but I assume the meeting with CPS was awkward On both sides. ruclips.net/video/HiQP5htOcPc/видео.html The surgeon should refuse this family future service, make note in the record and tell them to find someone else! Their insurance rate is high enough.
I used to work as a recovery room nurse and this happens more than you think with both adults and kids. Most of the time with kids the parents feed the child or give them juice to stop them from complaining. They think that no one will ever find out. I've had people go all the way through surgery and throw up a recognizable meal in the recovery room. They always deny haven eaten before surgery. They were very lucky to that they didn't aspirate into their lungs.
I ate before surgery 2x. The 1st time they asked if I ate and I said yes so they actually canceled the surgery. The 2nd time I knew better than to admit that I had eaten…..I woke up puking in recovery room with stitches in my lower back. Do not eat before surgery. Don’t Eat Before Surgery !!!!!!!
I’m a dentist and I can attest to entitled patients trying to pull one on us to get free work. Their problem is that they think after 5 years of dental school and 3 years in a masters program my understanding on the subject is just as much if not less then their understanding on it.
A dentist is the last person I’d want angry at me 😬 they could easily “nick” your gums or use to much pressure to make you miserable. The only person worse to anger is the person who does colonoscopies the last thing I’d want is a pissed of guy working on my but😬😬😬😬
Well i am not a dentist, but a client/customer. - and i can attest to the fact that dentist often are frauds with a diploma, that depending on the debt they are in with their clinic bill people for things that they dont need….. so this goes both ways.
first story is gold! Also thank you for opening with the story about the little girl aspirating and getting brought back by the courageous doctor. That makes me tear up every time I hear it.
Landlord... Your mom was saint!! She raised up a real man. You are a wonderful person. That single mom was blessed to have and your loving wife in her life when she needed someone the most. Keep being a wonderful person
Story1 plot twist: later that night, wife put on her sexiest outfit, and asked OP: "So does your Dom side only come out when you want to scare my nosy mother away? Or would you like to put your money where my mouth is?"
i couldn't eat for a week because of an infection i had on my gal bladder until i had surgery to remove it. the entire time i never felt hungry or thirsty thanks to the IV but when ever they served lasagna to my roommate I couldn't help but wanna eat some. the smell made very hungry

@Deon Denis you don't need to function 'properly' going into a surgery. Everyone, save the dying, can fast for 12 hours til the risk of eating is over. Doctors aren't being vindictive. The risk is exactly what happened. People can die from that shit.
@Deon Denis sorry, Deon, cystic fibrosis sounds really terrible, I meant for a healthy person going into surgery. I can imagine if you need surgery, they'd come up with a plan so your system levels would let them proceed with as little risk as you could deal with. I'm sorry you or anyone has CF.
She wasn't providing useful feedback. Its possible there was legitimately something unrelated to the crown causing pain and/or discomfort, but since she wasn't proving useful feedback, there was no way for the Dentist to resolve the issue.
Assuming any free public spaces were already taken and only the pay lots were available. Their "free" parking space likely cost them many times more than a paid parking spot once they got the van out of the tow lot.
You stole my car. Yes, I have it hiding in the back pocket of my jeans, see there is a huge van hiding in my pocket. OH, actually, you parked your car on my drive, so had it removed.
@@MalekitGJ If my understanding about tow companies is accurate, they make a police report for each car taken just for this reason. So it may already be in the system.
My guess is the entitled person didn't understand civil law well enough to realize she was in the wrong. If you park on private property, most of the time, the owner is within their rights to have your vehicle towed, at your expense. I'm not sure there are any charges to press in this case though. Its a civil matter until someone breaks the law.
Re the first story: I was having a sigmoidoscopy. Standard pre-op instructions: nothing to eat or drink after midnight. It was an assembly line of patients in cubicles. Doctor comes down the line asking about not eating and drinking. The woman next to me, in her 50's replied, "I ONLY had one slice of toast, an egg and a cup of tea." The doctor exploded at her about being instructed No food or drink. The Karen replied, in the most whining and entitled voice I've ever heard, But I was huuuunngry!!" She was sent home.
At least she said she ate... seriously, don't people understand doctors don't withhold food/liquid to be mean? I can ALMOST understand the 3-yr old. ALMOST. It sucks having to tell your toddler "no, no food til after." But its part of parenting! They nearly killed their child! As an adult, there is zero excuse for not following instructions. Lord knows, I've been tempted to take an extra sip of water (with my allowed meds) before procedures... but managed to hold back.
@@abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 Yeah, I remember my little brother when he was 3 had to have surgery. Mom told him she'd get him a special dessert afterwards, that alone was enough motivation for him not to complain as much.
@@PestilentAllosaurus exactly. I had numerous medical crap happen when i was little (i lost the genetic lottery of good health, oh well lol). I remember having a catheterization (urinary) tp inject dye for "kidney pictures". Pretty traumatizing stuff for a lil person. They finally succeeded in getting me to cooperate by the nurse asking what flavor sucker I liked best, gave me options, told me to pick my top 3. I chose, she grabbed them. I was told that every time I squirmed too much and they had to start over, I lost a sucker. I ended up with all three (and a huge facination with radiology... lol) Same nurse also played card games with me, and I won a ton of suckers. Lol. My last day there, I asked for her help, and she wheeled me around to other rooms where I handed out most of my "treasure trove". I really wish I could remember her name, and even most of her features are lost with time... but I remember big, kind brown eyes and thick brown hair. It was only when I was much older that I realized the suckers were a bribe, but TBH, I couldn't blame them for getting desperate. It worke, and I was happy.
If you know the hospital and floor she worked and year she might still be there, or have friends. I’m sure you telling her (or someone to tell her) what she meant to you would be huge for her.
The good landlord reminds me of Lou and Helen, my landlords when I was a young nursing student, who were my role models when I became a landlord myself. Good for him, and them, for being the kind of people who enrich the lives of their tenants. I have a picture of Lou and Helen on my wall next to my own parents and grandparents, and forty years later I am still in touch with their children despite having moved to a different city. Kindness costs so little and sets an example for the rest of us.
my mom works as a OM for her dental office, and dear god, the stories she tells us during dinner about her day sometimes just blows my mind about how entitled and/or idiotic some people are
If I were the landlord in your story, I would have told the entitled mother and spouse that you have no intention of putting money into the apartment because you have plans to rehab the apartment after they move out. Then I would inform them that their lease is NOT being renewed and they should start looking for a new place to live. That would have been epic.
You never give that kind of lead time. It gives them opportunities to leave damage to the apartment that you won't find for months after. Damage that can easily look like wear and tear (they aren't responsible for such) or even look like it was a mistake when the house was built or remodeled (again, they wouldn't be held responsible for it) and it is NOT hard to cause this kind of damage intentionally. When it comes time for the lease to be renewed is when you tell them it is not being renewed and they have the 30 (or 60, states and regions differ) days to leave the apartment. You do a walk through the apartment noting everything, take pictures. Then you look them right in the eye and tell them that you have made note of everything and you will be going after them for even the slightest scratch left behind after they are gone. This way you prevent most maliciousness. Anyone dumb enough to do anything after this? Well, they will be out a good bit of money.
@@unknownindividual6323 So, tell me who are you going to rent a place from? Unless you can afford to buy a home, you have to rent. That means a landlord, whether an individual or a property firm.
@@condizzle420 Hell he's lucky that this didn't end up with a lawsuit. He at least changed tactics so that his behavior didn't appear inappropriate. The problem with landlords being nice to tenants is that sucky people like to take advantage of a landlords' generosity, as demonstrated in this story or did that part not register. If you can't afford to pay your rent on time then find a place more suitable to your income level. Your financial problems aren't your landlords concern. This is why I never rented to single moms. I didn't want to hear their excuses nor did I want drama for my childless tenants.
@@MsTemptation whoa, hold on. I never said I wanted a landlord who would let me slide on the rent. It's that some landlords don't even care if your roof is leaking or your toilet is broken. I don't need anyone to help me pay my rent. I manage to get it paid on time every month. And yes, I am a mom with two kids and no, I'm not on government assistance.
So nice of him. It was none of Karen's business. I would have fallen in love with this guy for being so thoughtful and acting like a really good man. Just the kind of landlord anyone would want.
Landlords generally get a bad reputation despite the truth. Most Landlords act reasonably, but whilst people love to complain, it is rare for Tenants to voluntarily tell others how great their Landlords are ...
That poor single mother, thinking that she'd owed the nice landlord sex to "pay" for the fans and for him being flexible with the rent! Poor landlord, too! He was accused of awful things that he'd never said or done. Good for him and his wife for having a frank conversation about the mess to the struggling tenant! She could have just as easily gone to law enforcement to report "his" illegal threats. There will be, on Judgment Day, Jesus saying to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
We have tenant parking and visitor parking where I live. I've had to park in visitor parking so many times because of visitors parking in tenant spots.
I grew up half a block from the beach. People tried to park in the driveway all the time during the 4th of July weekend. It always amazed me that complete strangers thought they could just pull up and park on our property!
I was in the hospital for a fasting blood test. The nurse asked me if I'd had anything to eat and I told her no. She said she had to ask because people didn't always get it into their heads that nothing to eat meant just that. She had asked a chap the day before and he told her no, just a cup of coffee and a banana.
The dentist story reminds me of the other day at my husband's doctor's office... The nursing assistant was lucky to not leave the building in a body bag 😒
Something like the car one happened to my grandad, this karen parked on my grandads drive,( he has a top drive and a bottom drive) they were on the top drive, so he blocked them in, they had just collected there kids from school and had to wait for someone to come and get them while they demanded for the car back, my grandad said they can wait until tomorrow to collect it when he goes out, and then proceeded to go out in my dads car when he got back from work
The story about the people parking in a driveway to go to the beach, and then trying to get OP arrested, and the husband trying to physically attack him, reminded me of something that happened to me. I was driving a car where the fan belt had broken. I was trying to limp it home without it overheating, middle of summer and this was the early 1990's, long before cell phones had internet capability. Anyhow, I'd ended up overheating badly and pulling into a driveway to get off of the highway because there was no shoulder. The guy came from the garage as I lifted my hood, the car was overheating and that can sometimes help, and asks me what's going on. I told him my car overheated and I was calling a tow truck to come and get my car, and he said it was fine as long as I stayed at the end of the driveway by my car. No problem. But there WAS a problem, but not with him. This woman, I forget if she was his girlfriend or his wife, comes storming out of the house as I'm waiting for the tow truck to arrive and starts screaming at me to get off her property, threatening to call the cops, threatening to get her gun, etc. For some weird reason, she thought I was trying to get the dude to come out and talk to me. It's like "Uh, lady, I'm just waiting for a tow truck, I can't exactly just drive away and he already said it was fine as long as I just stayed by my car." Anyhow, she's shrieking like a PMS'ing banshee and waving her arms, and the tow truck arrives, and she starts throwing ROCKS AT THE TOW TRUCK! And the reason I remember this is because one of those rocks smashed my car's windshield and one landed in the engine, only minor damage there fortunately, because my hood was still up, hadn't closed it yet, and broke one of the mirrors on the tow truck. The guy from the garage was PISSED, not at me, but at her. Tow truck driver called the cops, she got in trouble, and the garage guy actually paid for my windshield and fixed the broken hose from the rock, apparently all he had to do was pull out the old one and put in a new one, took him all of maybe 30 minutes, and gave the tow truck driver his card to tow it to the repair place he worked at. I dunno what happened between him and that nutter lady, but I got the windshield replaced for free and a major discount on getting a new fan belt on my car, only cost me the price of the belt, not the labor, so I was happy about that.
Ugh. I had to have surgery to remove a 3lb tumor from my uterus (and get a full hysterectomy). I read the directions top to bottom and obeyed every single one. When the nurse questioned me before I was sent in, she was amazed that I did EVERYTHING on the list that I was supposed to. I was kind of depressed to think of how many idiots think "They're going to cut me open and mess around with my insides. Why do I need to follow medically important directions?" (The tumor was a fibroid tumor and non cancerous, thankfully.)
I'm still making my way through the playlist, but had to jump ahead to this one when I got the notification. Thank you for sharing these ridiculous stories :3
That landlord, top bloke. Last story reminded me of an ex from WAYYYY back. She became a dental nurse because she 'got off' on watching people in pain. Nope, that relationship did not last long.
First story: that's why people put passwords/codes on their phones. Last story: my coworker recommended a dentist to me when my tooth was killing me somethin' awful. First time since I was five that I had been, and they were AWESOME!!!! I needed a root canel and the procedure had no post-surgery pain, my temp crown was adjusted perfectly, and I know my permanent crown is very much likely to have the same results. The day I have a bad word to say about my dentist and his staff that isn't deserved, I hope some will slap me.
I had a root canal that was done with the numbing medicine not working due to still having an infection. It was extremely painful and I left traumatized and in tears. I didn’t go back to that dentist and have a hard time wanting to visit one I haven’t had issues with. But guess what, I still paid for the job. The whole amount I owed.
The funny thing is that the entitled family was right about one thing. Fair housing laws that say what you do for one tenant, you MUST do for all! The entitled family could have sued the landlord and won! FYI, I have been a property manager for 25 years.
My childhood dentist screwed up my teeth and all three of my sisters teeth! He also billed dad’s insurance for a permanent cap and only put the temporary on! Also got away with double billing by billing my dad’s insurance and the state insurance we had through our mom! Myself and one sister lost a bunch of teeth because of shoddy workmanship! My original childhood dentist terrified me so much I developed a phobia!
Yeah, remember my childhood dentist was a right sadist who drilled (though I doubt you can call "heavilly pressing the drill head in to the tooth untill all you heard and felt was the vibration ans whine of the drill echoing through your skull" drilling per modern standards) healthy teeth. Mum did not give us sodas, candy and sugary things outside of special occasions, was fastidious of our dental hygiene (even had us chew those pink dye tablets that's supposed to show plaque, and encourage us to be better at brushing). Remember she often fought with the dentist and challenged her to prove we had caveties. Remember when she suddenly disappeared: we suddenly got x-rayed every time, and they didn't go straight for the drill any more. Unfortuenately, the damage was already done, and I didn't go to a dentist until I was 30, due to a rotting wisdom tooth (grew oddly so I couldn't brush it).
Same thing happened to me. I have a huge fear of dentist because of my childhood dentist. Mom said even as a kid I would start panicking when she mentioned dentist and hold on to the door handle and scream. It was traumatizing and I remember that.
I've heard of people doing totally stupid things in a dentist's office. My current dentist is a few years older than me (past 65) and he just doesn't care. He is selling off his business to a really excellent young woman who has a "take it or leave it" attitude. Her significant other is a lawyer. OK, so don't pay me, we'll sue you into bankruptcy! That only happened a few times, and now everyone is totally satisfied with their totally painless practice. And she is every bit as skilled as he is and she is at least thirty-five years younger. And not the first woman dentist I've ever had either, I had to leave her behind when I moved to change jobs.

Once went to the dentist for a cleaning. The hygienist doing the cleaning was not their normal hygienist but from some agency. She only cleaned one side of my mouth. My dentist never came to check things over, instead I was made to pay and sent home. I was in shock, stunned, so said nothing. Later in the day I did call the office and told them what happened. I did get a free cleaning with a new hygienist and this time both sides of my mouth/teeth were cleaned. That was the only instance in my life anything like that happened.

Hospitality/restaurants etc. should just make a standard policy; if more than 30% of the meal has been eaten BEFORE the complaint, it's too bad, too sad. Sometimes it does take a little while for whatever isn't right to be evident, but not after clearing the whole plate. Or even half a plate. You'll usually know by about the third mouthful if something is off or not right.
The one time I "complained" at a restaurant about meal was when I was 2/3 through an amazing grilled chicken summer salad and found a dead lady bug. There was no way for the restaurant know as I believe stuff like lettuce/spring salad mix comes in bulk. I didn't even ask for my meal to be comped. I flagged down a server and showed her and said hey I'm not mad I'm not asking for a discount because i ate 2/3 but you guys might wanna check the lettuces. The mod did comp the entire meal b/c we actually didn't make a big deal about it and were nice. I mean if it was a cockroach, I won't lie I would've caused a huge scene b/c that means a dirty kitchen, and roaches are just nasty.
I was having lunch at a restaurant a couple came in and sat at the table next to me. So they order their meal and are almost finished when the woman tells the waitress she wants to see the manager. The manager comes over and she proceeds to tell him everything she didn't like about the meal. He points out that she ate almost all of it and why is she complaining now? Oh boy was she mad, she kept trying to get a free meal but the manager didn't back down and give her a refund on a meal she ate most of. She went on quite awhile with trying to get her meal free and finally said she would never come back. Her husband was silent the whole time.🙄
A lot of people understand the gravity of the first story that man killed his daughter with her heart stopped she died the efforts of great doctors that she was brought back to life that man should no longer have a daughter he needs to have her taken from him.
Some people's thinking: I can park wherever I want. There's no such thing as private property. Everyone needs to share with me because i told them to but i dont have to share my things......and other 4 year old ways of thinking.
3rd Story: that's defamation, I'm sure it's a crime/felony internationally. OP could have them be kicked out for that and even press charges. I swear, Karens get on my f-ing nerves.
In order to win a defamation case, you have to prove harm ($). Hurt feelings don't count as harm. In the US, some states have laws making defamation a criminal act. They are almost never prosecuted. It's usually a job for civil courts.
Story 2: OP was way too nice after her threat...I wouldn't have told them the towing company info...just "I had it towed...leave my property" let the them find it for themselves!
That can come back on you and make YOU liable for towing fees. By law you have to tell them where their car is or you are liable for theft of property charges too. However, I WOULD have pressed charges on the guy. These people only learn when you break them, no mercy to people this entitled.
@@Nempo13 The lawbreakers were fully at fault and are totally liable for the towing fees in OP's state (North Carolina). They could find the car by calling around and if they know the tag number it would be easier...though I would have told which company to the officer in the situation that OP was in. The ED was pretty stupid to attempt an assault on OP right in front of the cop so yeah he would have been arrested.
My girlfriend is a dental assistant and has been doing that for a little over 5 years now, she has come across some people who complain about the work done. She even had this one entitled mother who because she thought my girlfriend was white and not Hispanic, even though she is, was gonna complain about her and have her fired because my girlfriend was trying to calm down the child so she could hear the doctor to see what needs to be done next. Once that mother found out my girlfriend was Hispanic they dropped the complaint and even dropped the complaint they where gonna send to the dental board. My girlfriend was very upset and even freaked out a bit because she loves her job and just because some random lady thought my girlfriend was white she was gonna have her fired and possibly have her DA license suspended
@@randomstuff-qu7sh that’s why she was also very confused also and it was more of the fact she was trying to calm the kid down and apparently the moment didn’t appreciate that and I forgot to mention the dad was all pissed off also. As a person who’s had to go through many dental appointments I am fully aware of the procedure all of the finagling and looking and checking and it’s even worse considering the fact that I have a mouthguard because I grind my teeth at night
First story: OP's wife should activate a lockscreen with a code that her mother doesn't know. Problem solved! And then put the foot down and insist on boundaries. But OP and his wife know best how to deal with her overbearing mother... And sometimes, snoopy people need to be "scared straight" (or gay or whatevs)... Second story: That entitled man uttered threats and attempted to assault OP _in front of a police officer_ ! If I were OP, I would definitely press charges!
I am a landlord too. And had this entitled couple that used to live here. Always makes a mess, never washes up even when the dishes pile up. Removes my clothes from the washer once it's done and throws them on the floor. Turns on the lights in the day, smokes in the bedroom, eats stuff from the fridge that don't belong to them, put metallic objects in my microwave oven, overfills my fridge with lots of food that they don't seem to eat, takes my umbrella to use but never seem to return them. They were both in their mid 20's. And when i evicted them, they had the gall to ask me why.
Some people are oblivious to their discourtesy. When I was active duty and stationed at Osan AB, ROK, my 2nd roommate was very nice, but also the most inconsiderate person I've ever met. She'd borrow DVDs & CDs without asking and rather than return them where she got them, she'd leave them reader side down on a dusty desk. She and her friends would use my microwave, but not clean it afterwards. Her friends would also borrow my silverware and not return it. I did try talking to her about it; I don't mind her borrowing my stuff, but she was doing damage and her friends were stealing from me. She apologized, but didn't change her behavior, so I bought a couple foot lockers from the BX/PX, bought some locks, and kept all my stuff locked up. I did still let her borrow things, but she'd have to ask and I'd be present to make sure it was put away properly after.
@@randomstuff-qu7sh my roommate from hell used to leave half eaten, unwrapped food in the fridge because she was too lazy to take the trash out. We were flight attendants so we could be gone for a week sometimes. Our fridge looked and smelled like a bad science experiment. When she moved out, I had to use a half gallon of bleach to wash out the tub. I'll leave it at that...
I've had free work done by my dentist but that was not because I was complaining. That was him saying he had done a job the month prior he wasn't all that satisfied with so he redid it for free. Still holds up today many years later. He's a good dentist. It's the only time in my 22 years with him something like that has happened, and he recognized his own mistake right away.
I don't have a car but have park in front of my unit, I never let people park in it, because once I couldn't get out because someone parked right against my door...
Oh my gosh just hearing how kind that landlord was to that single mom is so amazing. I hope this person didn't let entitled jerks ruin them kind towards people who genuinely need a little help every now and then.
Third story: That landlord is an absolute gem! He shouldn't worry about what entitled dweebs think they are "owed", and just keep helping his tenants who need it.
Story 3. No good deed goes unpunished. The single mom was apparently bragging about all of the kindness that was being shown to her by the landlord. People really need to learn how to keep their mouths shut because the people you're yakking to will also want the same special treatment.
I definitely would have pressed charges if the guy trespassed into my home. Firstly they think they can illegally park and get away with it, secondly the husband threatens physical harm, and lastly he trespasses. Yes charges would have been pressed.
We have a small customer parking lot at our business with all the signage and warnings required by the city. It's amazing how many people drive by the signs and park. We have a towing company on speed dial. The cost is $225 at the tow yard if it's picked up in a few hours. What's even funnier is that it's always our fault they can't read.
Ouff... I'm studying dentistry and one of the mandatory classes includes doing dental technology work. Making a denture for a fictional patient (dummy used for training how to work on teeth), build a crown, build a bridge etc... And yea, you need to work on the finished crown to make it fit perfectly when putting it into a (puppet) patients mouth. That's standard! I have seen that on any of the crowns I saw put into peoples mouths during the 6monts I worked as a dental assistant. It's like making a custom cabinet and doing little adjustments to the feet to make it sit smoothly on a customer's floor by putting these little felt pads underneath...
OR....there's always another option :-) Don't park there ! This was some years ago. I came home from work one evening in a bit of a hurry as my wife and I were due to go out, parked the car in the driveway and shot inside to get washed and dressed up...as you do. When we came out some moron had parked his car right across our driveway, now in the UK if you have a dropped curb it's illegal to park across someone's driveway, I went knocking on the doors of the houses 2 or 3 either side...no one knew who's car it was, so last minute I grabbed the phone and got a taxi. Fast forward a few weeks...my wife and I had been out to a exhibition the pro photo lab I worked for had put on. We returned home around 1.00 AM...only to find the same car...this time parked IN our driveway! So I parked the car across the driveway, went inside, had a cup of tea...and went to bed. It's just gone 3.00 AM in the morning ( I kid you not !), there's a thunderous banging on the front door...I shoot out of bed and run down stairs wondering what the hell was going on, on opening the door there's a red faced guy complaining that I'm parked across the driveway...MY driveway, and he couldn't get HIS car out. So I ( somewhat less than politely ) tell him since he parked across the driveway a few weeks ago...and illegally at that, he could do what we had to do that night...get a bloody taxi ! Grumble grumble moan moan, all about how he lived on the south coast (about 70 or so miles away ) and 'that would cost a fortune and he wasn't going to do THAT ! 'Tough...so walk it instead'! He then threatened to call the police, so I told him to go ahead. Now keep in mind mobile phones had hardly been heard of in those days...he froze, then he DEMANDED to use my house phone. Nope...nope...NOPE!...not happening. 'There's a public phone box down by the pub...use that'. ( That's a good ten minutes walk away ). Then I'm off back to bed. I'd just dozed of when...the doorbell goes...sigh. I get up again and when I open the door there's the same guy...and two policemen...he'd ACTUALLY called the cops. So I explain the situation and they nod understandingly...then ask If I'd mind moving my car so this (ahem) 'Gentleman' can get his car out. “Nope, sorry I can't”. Guy SCREAMS 'Why NOT'!!? I looked at the cops...'Since he came round the first time I've had a drink or two...I was a bit stressed out you see'. Cop has a little smile on his face...he can't smell booze on me. 'Well would you allow him to move your car for you'? 'WHAT!...NO! He's not insured to drive it'! He got told to find his own way home and come back to collect his car. You might think that was the end of it...HAH! Not finished yet ;-) After that I put signs on posts either side of the front of the driveway...and either side of the driveway itself and one right at the back ( assuming they drove in and didn't reverse in it would be impossible to miss it ). Stating that this was a private driveway and that anybody parking there would need to pay a £50.00 fee for it to be released...and that was per DAY, OR PART THEREOF that it was there. That was a lot of money in those days. Fast forward about 6 weeks or so...we come home from work...and guess who's parked on my driveway...again! Yup...same moron. So I do the same as last time and park across the driveway. Same thing again...around 2.30 - 3.00 AM he's banging on my door. I go down, open the door and in a voice colder than the arctic say 'Yes'? 'You need to move your car so I can get mine out'! I lean forward and down a bit ( I'm 6 feet 3 inches tall and pretty well built ). I take a slow breath and say. 'See those signs there? When you pay the parking penalty I'll move my car...not until'. 'You can't do that....that's extortion'! 'It's 100% legal...I CHECKED, so tough luck...so pay up or bugger off''. He called the police again...and...the same two cops turn out again. We go through the same procedure ALL. OVER. AGAIN. and he gets told it's perfectly legal, and the gentleman ( me ) was perfectly entitled to do it. So he had to get a taxi back home to the south coast, then got a friend to drive him back the next day. I'm day off that day...so handy that. He turned up and held out £50.00. 'Where's the other £50.00'? 'WHAT !!!! 'Go read the sign again'. His friend loaned him the other £50.00...I moved my car...and he drove away...flipping me off as he did so. That night I took my wife out for a slap up meal...I was chatting to the owner of the restaurant and some of the other customers that I know...and guess who walks in? One of the two cops with his wife. He saw me and came over and asked how it had all played out in the end. So I sat and went through the whole story, with a restaurant full of people hanging onto every word...and screaming with laughter. When it came time to pay for the meal the boss of the restaurant flatly refused to take a penny, saying it was the best laugh he'd had in years!
Okay I had to pause this video. That landlord.... Omg that EL does not know how good she has it!!!! I used to work for a big box home improvement store in the department that specifically did business to business sales. I will say most landlords, based my experience, are nice but professional but this one is over and beyond amazing.
The answer to the question at the end is YES! My father worked disputes for a major credit card company, and had to deal with exactly that! This lady every month or so would go to a cosmetic dentist, get some work done and then call disputing the charge. Wasn't done to her satisfaction, she didn't like the results, she had no knowledge of the charge, etc, etc. It eventually got to the point where one of the dentists told my father while working on the latest dispute that this lady was at the point that no dentist in that area would touch her again, even if her mouth caught fire. So yes, these people really do exist, and not just with dentists, he'd seen a few from that area regarding cosmetic surgeons too.
Story 3 should have been met with evictions, same day. For being late to pay things constantly, and spreading false information to try and hurt my business. Oh, and maybe a lawsuit over that if possible.
for 2nd story, depending on where it was pounding on the door and threatening to attack someone can be enough to get arrested. so dont do that if you dont listen to warnings
I used to live above a bank, in a small apartment building with only 4 units. We had a parking lot, which was rare for the city, as small as it was, which also had the banks drive thru atm and drop off window. The lot however, was not the banks property, it was paid for and maintained by us residents. Signs were posted above every spot, saying we tow and that this is not the banks lot, etc-but we didnt mind 98% of the people who ignored the sign, as they were in and out in minutes. What pissed us off were the people who would block cars in, park in the loading zone by the back stairs that makes bringing groceries inside easier, or the people who would act like that because they used that giant chain of banks, that it gave them free run of our building and parking lot whenever they wanted. We had a bus stop directly outside our front door, so it wasnt in common for people to be sitting on our benches or our stoop/stairs, but every once in awhile some asshat would follow the mailman, or one of the bank workers inside to wait in the hallway for the bus. Sometimes the door wouldnt latch all the way, like during strong winds, and people would just walk into the entryway and make themselves at home. We had people try to bbq and launch fireworks in our lot, right next to my window and truck, at 3am on a Tuesday night, had people think they were smart and park there during the baseball games nearby instead of paying for parking(only locals can park on the streets from 6pm-6am) or limo/party bus drivers who think they can just park across 8 spots while they wait until the game ends, etc etc etc. I could go on and on about the lack of respect humans have for open space in a city, capable of parking a vehicle, especially one known for putting objects in the street to claim "dibs" on the spot-something I've done most of my life. I would have moved out way sooner if the rent wasn't exceedingly low for the quality and size of the 2 units I rented there.
And thanks Karen for scraping the crap out of my car and taking off. Maybe you parked in a tight space because it was so important you got your triple soy latte with extra foam.
When I was a kid I remember hearing my stepdad say that the landlord gave him a job as a wedding gift. "U married my tenant, heres a job." And everyone was weirdly grateful about it too.
I worked as a Dental Assistant for 18 yrs in a private office & yes we had new patients come in get work done only to try to get the work for free. Blaming us the Assistants. Ugh!
I used to live across the street from a busy hospital. Worked swing shifts, so car was garaged (out of sight). Used to find cars parked in the driveway 2 or 3 times per month. Got to know parking enforcement and several tow operators quite well. Posting No Trespass / No Parking / Do not Block Driveway signs were NOT effective. Just kept towing. Damn it, PPL are a**holes.

One thing that pisses me the F-off is when they use the words "My children" when they clearly mean "Me Me Me"
The reason for not eating before surgery is legit. I’d never play with my life like that.
Or anyone ,if a Surgeon gives me orders it's
Sir, yes Sir, Right Away Sir !
I mean if you pay for a professional's advice and services ,don't just ignore it
After all you paid for the advice right ?
Don’t

I’m a dentist and I can attest to entitled patients trying to pull one on us to get free work. Their problem is that they think after 5 years of dental school and 3 years in a masters program my understanding on the subject is just as much if not less then their understanding on it.
A dentist is the last person I’d want angry at me 😬 they could easily “nick” your gums or use to much pressure to make you miserable.
The only person worse to anger is the person who does colonoscopies the last thing I’d want is a pissed of guy working on my but😬😬😬😬
Dentists - pulling one out of the patient, before they pull one on them.
Well i am not a dentist, but a client/customer. - and i can attest to the fact that dentist often are frauds with a diploma, that depending on the debt they are in with their clinic bill people for things that they dont need….. so this goes both ways.
Classic question from a movie: "Is it safe?"
This happened to me with a filling. No matter what they did to adjust it, it felt off. I don’t understand why, but yeah
first story is gold! Also thank you for opening with the story about the little girl aspirating and getting brought back by the courageous doctor. That makes me tear up every time I hear it.
I went to a dr appt & he told me if a similar incident... in his story, the child (thankfully) wasnt in danger. Come on parents!!

The dental patient wasn't trying to get something for nothing. She's just crazy. Trying to figure out irrational people will drive YOU crazy.
She wasn't providing useful feedback. Its possible there was legitimately something unrelated to the crown causing pain and/or discomfort, but since she wasn't proving useful feedback, there was no way for the Dentist to resolve the issue.
That is the absolute truth. That's why I gave up trying long ago.
She was looking to get the crown for free
@@CED99 well, she likely paid double.
@@randomstuff-qu7sh That was my take as well. She probably was complaining about something not related to the crown.
Karen, you shouldn't have parked illegally. There's public spaces everywhere.
Love that she dares him to tow her and has a surprised Pikachu face when he does.😂
Assuming any free public spaces were already taken and only the pay lots were available. Their "free" parking space likely cost them many times more than a paid parking spot once they got the van out of the tow lot.
That landlord is such a wholesome guy, we need more people like him.
They claimed the van was stolen by op rather than towed that's how they thought they were going to win
Even if the cop was a stranger, just a call to the tow company by OP would back his claim.

Hello, Fluff! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter.
Happy easter 😁🐰
That is all too common. "No breakfast, just toast and juice."
I don't know if you've mentioned being a parent on your channel before, Sir Fluff, but now...I must. Baby Fluff, do do do do de do, Baby Fluff.... ;)
Now it’s stuck in my head!🥴
It's like "Uh, lady, I'm just waiting for a tow truck, I can't exactly just drive away and he already said it was fine as long as I just stayed by my car."
Anyhow, she's shrieking like a PMS'ing banshee and waving her arms, and the tow truck arrives, and she starts throwing ROCKS AT THE TOW TRUCK!
Why do I need to follow medically important directions?"
(The tumor was a fibroid tumor and non cancerous, thankfully.)
My instructions for my procedure were super specific. Not even hard candy or breath mints. NOTHING!
Ugh no domiantrix should act like that....its ignorant 😒 and if she ever did get a sub I would feel BEYOND bad for them....
Asked to be knocked out next time. Sleepy time is better than pain.
The last story "it made zero sense" - welcome to the wonderful world of Karens!
The funny thing is that the entitled family was right about one thing. Fair housing laws that say what you do for one tenant, you MUST do for all! The entitled family could have sued the landlord and won! FYI, I have been a property manager for 25 years.
How DARE you have legal rights!!

And not the first woman dentist I've ever had either, I had to leave her behind when I moved to change jobs.
the nosey MIL at home with her husband
"Have you ever done that thing with the sock puppet, a cucumber and pint of cottage cheese?"
Story1: LOL OP's wife is awesome!
Plot twist: later that night, wife put on her sexiest outfit and asked OP: "So does your Dom side only come out when you want to scare my nosy mother away? Or would you like to put your money where my mouth is?"
:D
Once went to the dentist for a cleaning. The hygienist doing the cleaning was not their normal hygienist but from some agency. She only cleaned one side of my mouth. My dentist never came to check things over, instead I was made to pay and sent home. I was in shock, stunned, so said nothing. Later in the day I did call the office and told them what happened. I did get a free cleaning with a new hygienist and this time both sides of my mouth/teeth were cleaned. That was the only instance in my life anything like that happened.
My older sister when she was younger had this dentist...who literally only froze her mouth and pulled one of her teeth....mind you my sis was Very very young....

GREAT STORIES and a HUMAN READER! WIN-WIN!!!
I used to volunteer at a homeless shelter...85% of people were appreciative of the help during their difficulties, some others were angry at us because if we helped them, we owed them so much more!
I don't know about dentals but people do come into restaurants, eat their food, complain about it and then demand their money back.
Exactly. She probably thought that if it works at a restaurant, why can’t it work at the dentist’s?
Her husband was silent the whole time.🙄
My brother's MIL is like that. I can't stand that woman.
@@Nempo13
The lawbreakers were fully at fault and are totally liable for the towing fees in OP's state (North Carolina).
That's crazy! What a weird thing to be racist about.
Sorry to hear that happened. I'm a bit confused as to why being white vs being Hispanic should matter when performing work as a DA.
@@randomstuff-qu7sh that’s why she was also very confused also and it was more of the fact she was trying to calm the kid down and apparently the moment didn’t appreciate that and I forgot to mention the dad was all pissed off also. The family was also Hispanic and were kind of racist cause they assumed she was white and wanted her fired over that shit
That dentist story reminds me of the problems I've had with 2 partials which were NEVER done right as I have multiple versions of biting surfaces.

Last Story: Is the dental patient a TODDLER? That patient always says "No."
As a person who’s had to go through many dental appointments I am fully aware of the procedure all of the finagling and looking and checking and it’s even worse considering the fact that I have a mouthguard because I grind my teeth at night
Definitely should have pressed charges for threatening OP.
I wanna give that landlord a hug.
1st story: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG, that is too good!
That was her tub, not mine. She also used to wear my clothes and she had some really bad body odor. My next roomie was a single guy, not 1 issue.
Happy Easter, DarkFluff!! 😁
Happy Easter.
@@rebeccamichael626 Thank you, Rebecca
I've had free work done by my dentist but that was not because I was complaining. That was him saying he had done a job the month prior he wasn't all that satisfied with so he redid it for free. Still holds up today many years later. He's a good dentist. It's the only time in my 22 years with him something like that has happened, and he recognized his own mistake right away.
Doesn't give a care-in (Karen?) the world!
Lol.
Hey Fluffy , I loved the story about the snoopy Mom , it made me wonder : What type of nightmares did she have LOL. Hope you are well and safe.
I don't have a car but have park in front of my unit, I never let people park in it, because once I couldn't get out because someone parked right against my door...
HAPPY EASTER ALL

Happy Easter.
In my opinion...
Mom snoops... So, in the middle of Xmas dinner you look at your wife and go "WOOF!"
The last one spelled it out! "I'm one step away from not even paying for this work done." Total attempt at a scam!
Oh my gosh just hearing how kind that landlord was to that single mom is so amazing. I hope this person didn't let entitled jerks ruin them kind towards people who genuinely need a little help every now and then.
The only time we ever go into someone’s drive way would be just to go the other way.
In regards to the dentist office story, I can confirm the way the crowns are done. I have had several, and had no issues.
They HAVE to get to the beach!
I always have vehicles towed from my property when someone parks there illegally or without my express written consent.
Parent needs to permanently loose custody of any and all children for child endangerment.
I have class at 9:30 and I'm still binging your videos at 2am. I'm addicted, help
Lol, I'd be tempted to charge them then say that they can park anywhere else.
I definitely would have pressed charges if the guy trespassed into my home. Firstly they think they can illegally park and get away with it, secondly the husband threatens physical harm, and lastly he trespasses. Yes charges would have been pressed.
NOBODY GETS FOOD THE DAY OF SURGERY. PERIOD. if their that illresopndable they loose custody. THE HOSPITAL IS REQUIRED TO REPORT IT AS CHILD ABUSE.
3:14 I'm wondering if she goes though her daughter's mail as well, imagine her face when she finds "moby huge" on her lawn
If you don't want your car towed, don't leave on someone else's property.
OR....there's always another option :-)
Don't park there !
Not finished yet ;-)
After that I put signs on posts either side of the front of the driveway...and either side of the driveway itself and one right at the back ( assuming they drove in and didn't reverse in it would be impossible to miss it ).
Yes this patients are the "Angels"
Uhhhhh, that surgery story, I read it word for word like 5 years ago, LOL!
I have come to really enjoy Dark Fluff! 😁
The dude missed a day of work just to be petty to a Karen. LoL
Ugh!
that landlord was way too nice. I would have happily kicked out the entitled people if they tried to pull a stunt like that. lol
