I thought vanilla specters didn't take bluescreen damage, though the internet (and this mission) says differently--maybe it was just combat protocol that didn't do extra damage. There are so many different mods, it's hard to keep track of what does and doesn't work sometimes. There also should be some weapon attachment you can put on the mech's weapons that allow them to have an ammo slot, but I don't recall what it is now. We should ask Xenthaulus. He seems to be an encyclopedia of X-Com rules. :)
Sooo... if kubikiri automatically kills enemies on a crit and it didn't kill the legate, does that mean the legate is one of the good guys or that the legate is actually 2 enemies in one and you only killed one of them? The only thing I can think of is that rather than directly triggering a kill, kubikiri gets the target health then does that much damage and then the damage reduction kicked in to screw you over.
3 Floaters in a Trench Coat stacked on top of each other? But yeah, probably the way the perk works and the way the damage reduction works are conflicting with each other - and since both come from different mods can't even blame anyway: I can't expect every enemy from an enemy mod to be designed with every perk from any class mod in mind.
I'm only 1 hour 7 minutes into the video, but didn't you complain last time about the legate that he just straight up cannot be crit? It's like you have a 20% crit chance against him but He just has another ability that says I cannot be crit fuck you. Maybe that was the other end game thing, the floating annoying boy.
@@DerAva regardless, like you said it's like 2000 mods in a game that was made a long time ago, I love your attitude about all of this just rolling with it. I wish I was half as calm.

The freezing ticked with each hit. So after 3 shots the Legate wasn’t frozen anymore?

Well, the mech soldiers have good healing times, that makes them good tanks. If you believed in tanking.
I think the void prison lasts 3 turns. Atleast in my campaign when it was used against me after 3 turns the soldier was freed
3 turns at 6 HP damage per turn seems pretty deadly for most soldiers.
@@DerAva Yeah I had to heal them but that stupid unit kept teleporting too far away for me to hit
Boooooo! The Legate should be crit-able. That's just nonsense

Wasn't that the mechapede? I'm losing track, but I thought I reread the legate abilities 15 times to make sure it can be crit.
