I honestly can't really say anything about the accusation of rice cheating and using blacklisted modifications since we don't have a whole lot of evidence if he did or not and we might never even know. However, when it comes to rice's RUclips activity, the staff really didn't hit the nail on the head with that. Digging through a person's discord and using that said "information" is just not a good look nor a good source of information to figure out if he was leaving RUclips or not. Hell, it doesn't even take much to go to his channel, go to his "channels" section, and look at his second channel which clearly showed rice actively uploading pit videos there which OBVIOUSLY aligned with his plan to eventually upload a pit video on his main channel. What in god's name made them think that information from a discord or his discord server holds higher and more value than his (the actual creator's) personal words as well as his second channel's activity? It's just really odd.

This was a good video giving some valid points on Rice's behalf. While I don't know Rice very well myself, and I can't really pass judgement based on his reliability, I will say I believe it is EXTREMELY unlikely that this was a false ban. The only reason that an admin would ban Rice and remove his rank if he was a legit player is for personal reasons, which is just not a realistic claim at all. Hypixel admins do not ban the average player unless they are 100% certain said player is cheating, they would much prefer someone to be closet cheating than to hand out a false ban. When it comes to creators especially that hold the RUclips rank, admins know how much traction stuff like this can build if they do get it wrong, which leads me to believe there is no way they would let a false ban happen on a player like Rice. They'd be much better off to just let someone they're not too fond of keep RUclips rank than jeopardise the whole staff team's reputation and reliability.
I would agree normally however rice has been maining the pit for a while now and dominates almost every lobby. Hypixel pit players are known to be very egotistical and salty so it's not too far fetched to say someone paid off an admin. While yes rice farmer could have been cheating there are cases where pit players paid off admins to ban people they don't like and rice has made a LOT of enemies in the pit. Another thing to note is the fact the admin is very nit picky which imo is pretty suspicious. Honestly it's a 50/50 but currently I believe it could be admin abuse.

This dude is the reason I grind hypixel for 6 hours a day, the betrayal to his channel and his message was shocking, but inevitable. At the moment, there are no legit pit youtubers, and I had my suspicions from the moment he started streaking...
Right now, it's simply RiceFarmer11's word vs. an Admins word. Here's why I think it's more likely that the Admin is telling more of the truth: 1. Reason to lie The Admin is being paid around 100 grand a year to do his job. If he were to cause a controversy like this where he was truly in the wrong, he would risk losing his job. As such, the Admin has NO (determinable) reason to lie, whatsoever. On the other hand, RiceFarmer11 has plenty reason to lie: if he is guilty, admitting his guilt would damage his online reputation (cheating 2 years ago and then admitting to doing it again is NOT a good look) and risk the future of his RUclips channel. 2. Reputation Admins are supposed to be the highest on the food chain of Hypixel in-game staff. If they were exposed for being corrupt, it would damage the reputation of the Hypixel server itself. RiceFarmer11 has cheated in the past, and doesn't have a clear online personality as (to my knowledge) his videos don't even contain his voice. As such, his reputation does not solidify him as any more trustworthy than a Hypixel admin, unless you are inclined to believe the seemingly baseless rumors about corrupt admins on Hypixel. 3. Grey areas (things I'm not sure about) The Admin refuses to share information regarding the specific reason for RiceFarmer11's ban. While the explicit reason for this is seemingly to evaluate RiceFarmer11's character based on RiceFarmer11's response, this withholding of information by the admin does serve another purpose. By refusing to provide the evidence for RiceFarmer11's ban, the admin is protecting himself from backlash in the case that his evidence was not sufficient. The admin keeps the argument to word vs word alone, which gives him the advantage. However, it's entirely illogical not to share the damning evidence if that damning evidence does exist! instead of it being a 70%-30% argument, why not make it a 100%-0% argument? It makes me wonder if there's personal motive involved here (in the case that RiceFarmer11 is guilty). By making RiceFarmer11 continue his denial for longer, the admin might be setting RiceFarmer11 up to destroy his own reputation IF evidence is later shared that 100% proves RiceFarmer11 is cheating. But, there should be no reason to do this as an admin, and this only assumes that the admin is actually correct, so it really makes no sense to me that the admin would allow for an ambiguity in visible intentions.

From the way the admin speaks to Rice, especially when discussing potential banned modifications, it sounds like someone on a power trip rather than an unbiased party trying to help resolve an issue. It seems the admin/s were pissed off at rice and decided to take it personally. They seem to have just been searching for a reason to ban him (they go after him for chat abuse, then ban him for hacks which though they specifically avoid saying which hacks they banned him for). Some people have thrown out speculations that pit players bribed admins to do this, since rice was making a video about exposing and killing a bunch of hackers. I feel that given the information, I give ricefarmer the benefit of the doubt. Would love to see this topic covered further by this channel as they do a great job. Bud, they give yt rank to people who promote their server. It's possible someone reported Rice to staff n staff then investigated.. n let's be real, Rice has a bad history n he stopped uploading. I created/coded Rice's Housing, and I want to add: 1: Discord advertising in Housing is so common, it's basically a part of Housing culture/meta at this point. People don't get banned for it and no-one ever has. It's unfair to hold Rice to any other standard, he might have fans on RUclips, but we're all just people right? 2: I firmly believe the admin team hold a grudge against Rice, since contacting him and asking what his plans are with RUclips when he hasn't uploaded in 4 months is pretty disgraceful. I think they were just trying to find any reason to take his RUclips rank away. There have been RUclipsrs who haven't uploaded in years who still have their ranks, and I guarantee Rice was the first person they brought up this new rule to. You can't add a rule out of the blue, and then immediately punish someone for breaking it. Also the way the admin used the emoji in the Discord chat was extremely informal and condescending, especially since that rule was literally just added.
I actually started using it in my videos under the impression they would get claimed, simply because I loved the soundtrack and dont really care about making money from these videos but none of the videos have gotten claimed even though ive used like 6 different tracks by this point so surprisingly it might be copyright free.

Neutral outsider here - it sounds like a bit of both Hypixel admins not liking Rice *and* Rice using blacklisted modifications. A staff bias doesn't necessarily make him innocent. It looks like Hypixel staff are singling him out as an example to others that you can't 'farm' you way to RUclips rank and then cease to upload. In the creator program process, they set out expectations and he very clearly didn't achieve these. So from that angle, I can understand why staff reached out, though taking discord messages out of context is not the right approach. I'm not fully convinced the ban is related to this, though, as the emails are weeks/months old. On the other side, you have someone infamous for cheating in the past being flagged on multiple accounts for using blacklisted modifications. They can't afford to make mistakes when it comes to banning RUclipsrs, so I can only assume that Hypixel staff delved deep into the logs to confirm. This was not the decision of an individual, but a group effort to collect, process and discuss the evidence. Frankly, cheaters are very, very rarely going to admit to cheating - especially people who closet cheat. Though, that's uncertain and maybe he used other kinds of blacklisted modifications like some through solartweaks. Overall, Hypixel are never going to be any more transparent than this over a ban - especially one they are so certain of and of a high-profile player. Both sides are definitely in the wrong in various aspects of the situation, but the question is how far in the wrong are each?

I'm pretty sure that the admin is just being a salty baby because they got called out about them cherry picking messages. But they couldn't find anything to ban him off of, so he just banned and said he's cheating as an excuse. Admins have to word how they find evidence better, if rice really is cheating. It really looks like they’re trying to find any evidence to get rice from like the community standpoint
I am amazed how people love talking about topics they have next to no information about, some say its watchdog (watchdog literally doesn't work on yt ranks), some say its items (items are literally irrelevant), some say its corrupt admins doing things without evidence (admins cannot use any kind of evidence outside of the server so it can't be from a video/discord etc. , and if somebody tried to bribe an admin they would most likely fail but even if they did manage to convince the admin, other admins would look into it) some say its admins pointing out different reasons than his ban reason (hacking and blacklisted modifications basically mean the same thing and the messages can easily be faked). If you have played pit for a decent time you'll most likely be able to tell the difference between a legit player and a closet cheater.
My problem is that I know for a fact rice used to pvp cheat and bot but he only admits to botting not the pvp cheating yet even with that I don't think he'd cheat after getting youtube rank it wouldn't really make sense risking that especially when he could just use an alt no one knows exists to cheat on.

As a pit player, I can 100% confirm he was protted by many cheaters, given thousands if dollars worth of duped and irl traded items & soft botted pretty blatantly. Ive also heard he cheated but I dont know 100% if its true? Either way he deserved the ban on many fronts. He was also pretty toxic on his alts in chat.
Edit: he addressed this already. What he fails to mention is the people he took those items from were also known cheaters, dupers and irl traders. Not legit players who accidentally obtained these items. As for the bots, this was also intentional silent botting helped by known cheaters.

It seems the admin/s were pissed off at rice and decided to take it personally. They seem to have just been searching for a reason to ban him (they go after him for chat abuse, then ban him for hacks which though they specifically avoid saying which hacks they banned him for). Some people have thrown out speculations that pit players bribed admins to do this, since rice was making a video about exposing and killing a bunch of hackers. I feel that given the information, I give ricefarmer the benefit of the doubt. Would love to see this topic covered further by this channel as they do a great job. Bud, they give yt rank to people who promote their server. It's possible someone reported Rice to staff n staff then investigated.. n let's be real, Rice has a bad history n he stopped uploading. Just look at it from a business perspective. It looks bad on Rice's part. And, Hypixel admis n creator teams are all adults in fully paid, full time positions n careers. They are not banning a YTer for no reason. They are not risking their jobs to false ban someone.

I created/coded Rice's Housing, and I want to add:
1: Discord advertising in Housing is so common, it's basically a part of Housing culture/meta at this point. People don't get banned for it and no-one ever has. It's unfair to hold Rice to any other standard, he might have fans on RUclips, but we're all just people right?
2: I firmly believe the admin team hold a grudge against Rice, since contacting him and asking what his plans are with RUclips when he hasn't uploaded in 4 months is pretty disgraceful. I think they were just trying to find any reason to take his RUclips rank away. There have been RUclipsrs who haven't uploaded in years who still have their ranks, and I guarantee Rice was the first person they brought up this new rule to. You can't add a rule out of the blue, and then immediately punish someone for breaking it. Also the way the admin used the emoji in the Discord chat was extremely informal and condescending, especially since that rule was literally just added.

I actually started using it in my videos under the impression they would get claimed, simply because I loved the soundtrack and dont really care about making money from these videos but none of the videos have gotten claimed even though ive used like 6 different tracks by this point so surprisingly it might be copyright free.

Neutral outsider here - it sounds like a bit of both Hypixel admins not liking Rice *and* Rice using blacklisted modifications. A staff bias doesn't necessarily make him innocent.
It looks like Hypixel staff are singling him out as an example to others that you can't 'farm' you way to RUclips rank and then cease to upload. In the creator program process, they set out expectations and he very clearly didn't achieve these. So from that angle, I can understand why staff reached out, though taking discord messages out of context is not the right approach. I'm not fully convinced the ban is related to this, though, as the emails are weeks/months old.
On the other side, you have someone infamous for cheating in the past being flagged on multiple accounts for using blacklisted modifications. They can't afford to make mistakes when it comes to banning RUclipsrs, so I can only assume that Hypixel staff delved deep into the logs to confirm. This was not the decision of an individual, but a group effort to collect, process and discuss the evidence. Frankly, cheaters are very, very rarely going to admit to cheating - especially people who closet cheat. Though, that's uncertain and maybe he used other kinds of blacklisted modifications like some through solartweaks.
Overall, Hypixel are never going to be any more transparent than this over a ban - especially one they are so certain of and of a high-profile player. Both sides are definitely in the wrong in various aspects of the situation, but the question is how far in the wrong are each?

Wow! Very thorough evidence and video! IMO Rice is innocent. He has been in the community way to long and done too much for the pvp community in particular to have been cheating. His evidence in this video is also very thorough and that admin is corrupt.
False bans rarely happen anymore, Im a fan of rice but he does have a history of cheating so it wouldn't be surprising, but I doubt his was false. Admins wouldn't just do this for no reason given plus they most likely have to go through other admins to agree to do this since the this is a RUclipsr we are talking about I doubt only 1 admin can make a choice likes this. Just my theory then again I can be wrong but don't believe he is innocent till its 100% proven🤷♂

I am amazed how people love talking about topics they have next to no information about, some say its watchdog (watchdog literally doesn't work on yt ranks), some say its items (items are literally irrelevant), some say its corrupt admins doing things without evidence (admins cannot use any kind of evidence outside of the server so it can't be from a video/discord etc. , and if somebody tried to bribe an admin they would most likely fail but even if they did manage to convince the admin, other admins would look into it) some say its admins pointing out different reasons than his ban reason (hacking and blacklisted modifications basically mean the same thing and the messages can easily be faked). If you have played pit for a decent time you'll most likely be able to tell the difference between a legit player and a closet cheater.
My problem is that I know for a fact rice used to pvp cheat and bot but he only admits to botting not the pvp cheating yet even with that I don't think he'd cheat after getting youtube rank it wouldn't really make sense risking that especially when he could just use an alt no one knows exists to cheat on.

I think pit players are so toxic and would do crazy things to get an enemy banned, and if its a cheater (that paided an admin off) they would be mad about cheating and STILL LOSING to a non cheater, also this admin is very suspicious about the thing.

As a pit player, I can 100% confirm he was protted by many cheaters, given thousands if dollars worth of duped and irl traded items & soft botted pretty blatantly. Ive also heard he cheated but I dont know 100% if its true? Either way he deserved the ban on many fronts. He was also pretty toxic on his alts in chat.
Edit: he addressed this already. What he fails to mention is the people he took those items from were also known cheaters, dupers and irl traders. Not legit players who accidentally obtained these items. As for the bots, this was also intentional silent botting helped by known cheaters.
