Long story but due to a particular medication my mom went into labor with me when she was only 4.5 months along, and while they were able to suppress it until they thought I could survive being born, I was so tiny mom had to swaddle me using a beanie instead of the baby blanket she'd made for me. Casey woulda laughed himself into an early grave seeing us XD
Me too!! I weighted 1 pound. I was born prematurely because my mom was dying when I was getting born. I still have dints in my skin from the hospital equipment on my face and body.

Apparently you have never been to New York city!! People of all ages use bike, boards etc. to get around congestion there takes HOURS to go 10 city blocks! Its crazy. But there is nothing abnormal about that.

The point is to that what he is traveling with is corny as well, so making fun of cops for having cars that are easier to park and get around with is sorta weird. @@condimentking3395 Yea it really wasnt my point. BUT in NY modes of transportation like bikes and skateboards have been a common place since the 80's. Its only weird to people who haven't lived in the city. On a side note the city drove golf carts back in the day witch makes a tad bit more sense. But its satirical comedy, people reading into it is more ridiculous than the actual segment of the video.

the small cop car itself is literally no big deal. but whats HILARIOUS is how he keeps going on about it, getting all the different angles, interviewing people on the streets, getting close ups, waiting for and bothering the officer. its like watching a 1st grader in a sitcom - so laughable you cant help but question whether this is a joke or not.

I love how Casey just doesn't process that it's, ya know, NEW YORK, where traffic is a massive issue and it can be extremely difficult for emergency responders to get through, and MAYBE it would be a good idea to have a vehicle that can squeeze through areas where ambulances can't? So they can provide CRP until an ambulance can squeeze through?? or for easier parking?? or bc it makes them more approachable?? idk this just feels like the tallest middle schooler encounters the shortest kid in the grade and tries to roast him with the blandest reiterations of "haha short haha"

@@howiegruwitz3173 Bit weirdly dramatic about the fact that it's a meter maid car, but whatever that's subjective. No, the NYPD doesn't run an ambulance service, and Mikayla didn't say that, but both services are given direction through emergency response operators, so the point still stands that if an ambulance wouldn't make it somewhere due to traffic, they could send a cop car over (probs not a meter maid, but idk if they're in communication or not with the operators) to start CPR. Even if it's just because the cop car can come from a different direction in case that's faster due to little traffic in other areas.
@@howiegruwitz3173 i know, but it doesn’t matter where the ambulance was dispatched from. It just matters that dispatch can get someone trained in CPR to the location asap and provide that until an ambulance can get there. Cops are trained in CPR, and more importantly meter maids are not cops. The mini cars replaced the 3 wheel scooter patrols because they’re safer, easier to use, have air conditioning, don’t require a motorcycle license, and can fit on sidewalks in Central Park. It’s still a relatively new change, but they’re using meter maids (people being paid to patrol meters and parking areas for traffic/parking violations) so more cops are free to respond to more important things. It still goes hand in hand with the NYPD as officers can still issue parking tickets and it doesn’t matter if it was issue by a cop or the parking attendant, it’s still a ticket. That car was a real patrol car, and in it was a real cop.
Not sure if you’re aware, but when you call 911 it connects you to dispatch, not the local police, and they tell the necessary responders where to go. They have open lines of communication to see which responders are available and nearby, and cops are trained in basic first aid and cpr specifically in case an ambulance is not there yet as cops tend to be the first on scene.
It’s an easy misconception to have, but “parking enforcement officers” are part of a city’s transportation department, not the police department.
Hopefully this clears up some of your confusion :)

Looks like he just gets his wife to drive him around when he needs it. Then complained about her choice of where she stopped or whatever and she defends herself that he was late and she had no other choice. NYC is a nightmare to drive and park in. Instead of being grateful when he could have took the subway home or whatever. He seems like a selfish asshole.

Also before the smart cars the NYPD had these even smaller electric 3 wheel cars/scooters that are way stranger, there's not way he lived in NYC for a long time and didn't come across small NYPD vehicles

It’s literally not even that obscure a car to give them 😂 not that I support the police either, but it is actually relatively smart? (Pardon the pun lol) but like it’s obviously not going to be used in high speed chases or even to arrest anyone, but that cop is obvs writing up parking tickets- it makes SENSE to give cops smaller cars and motorbikes when they’re like doing shit that doesn’t require fuelling a full cop car

@@____-pb1lg not all cops drive in Bearcats you know? those are used by SWAT units in high risk situations only called on special ocasions. Also for very usefull for natural disasters at helping civilians. Most of the time cops are in moddified dodge chargers and ford explorers.

@@beelzemobabbity thats kind of in the design to look intimidating maybe making the suspects surender the moment an armored vehicle with that looks like that pulls up. But they are not made for ramming. The only time the police will ever ram you if is you are in a vehicle.

@@Aeiouaaaaaaaaa everything Jarvis and Nick said was true - it’s very efficient with gas consumption, you can park anywhere, you can squeeze through narrow streets and traffic, the insurance costs less yearly. A lot of plus sides, especially for a cop car.

Also might I add, this Smart Fortwo model has more cabin space than a Fiat 500, the car is almost 2 meters long and it weighs 1808 lbs, it’s just a car like any other lol

Thank you Nick and Jarvis for calling him out! I used to be a big fan of him, but last year he called Los Angeles "a crime riddled 3rd world s*ithole of a city" just because his car got robbed. It was super disrespectful for everyone who grew up in LA and are working to make the city a better place, and he got called out by a lot of people including Seth Rogen. Lost all of my respect for him since then.
I thought people were clowning on Seth Rogan for so vehemently defending a city with let’s face it, a lot of crime. He said his own car had gotten broken into like 10 times.

Speaking as someone who had been riding my Boosted board for over a yr before I fractured my jaw in two and a half places, broke a bone in my ear which poked through my ear canal causing temporary (hopefully) hearing loss and tinnitus, also covered me with road burns, etc. Honestly he's lucky as hell that no one has gotten hurt seriously, when you don't know how to use them you can launch yourself off so easily. If I'm being honest I do not like that at all.
Edit: of course they are going to get on if he asks them to, they are his fans and probably don't want to be filmed saying no to him.

What stuck out enough in this vid that I felt compelled to leave a comment is the posture on the poor woman he asks about the car. No ones shoulders are that hunched naturally, at best she's extremely uncomfortable with being accosted by a man she doesn't know and getting grilled on camera about something she has no opinion on, but doesn't feel comfortable just saying whatever she wants. And that's IF there wasn't more dialogue removed, because she looks like she's already talking to him by the time her segment actually starts.
