I am in my sixties and have loved Chopin since my teens. I don't think I have heard a better rendition of "The Chopin Polonaise". This young lady is that good.
Still admiring after all this time. Her "matter-of-fact" approach is attractive. "I just played the magnificent Chopin polonaise in a magnificent manner but no big deal"
Natalie, you have a very nice technique. Such a professional. I just want you to know that your recorded performances have really inspired me to practice more so that I can become a better piano player. Thank you for all your hard work & dedication. Much love, joy & peace.
I love this performance ! So understated , where most pianists play this piece too quickly , Natalie gets it just right . Well done Natalie , I wish you well !
Yeah I agree. I was just relearning this piece and was shocked by how fast people played it. It has such good harmony that can only be appreciated at a little bit of a slower pace.
How does a diminutive young girl with small hands pull off such a regal and powerful performance? This exceeds anything mere flesh and bone can put forth.
@@luborkloda8903 I usually dislike when people put gender in music, but if with "feminine" people means soft and sensible, and with "masculine" means powerful and solid, then Argerich was way more masculine than even Horowitz.
This has got to be the best performance of op 53 I've ever heard. Really splendid job. So young, but so so talented. You're very impressive! Great dynamics, and even the little things such as the tiniest of attention you payed to note length value. Beautiful job.
Maravillosa interpretación, creo que es la versión que más me ha gustado de esta gran obra del maestro Frederic Chopin. Saludos desde Santiago de Chile.
Congratulations Natalie ! I'm impressed with your way of playing Chopin on your piano. You are not far away of the top and I wish you all the best for your carrier.
Golden. Loved you in the Chopin Competition. You play Chopin with such grace and ease. Please continue to share your incredible interpretive talents with us. Thanks.
What a stunning 21st century interpretation of the Heroic Polonaise! It is beautiful Polonia resurrected! ... and you, my dear, are now honorary Queen of Poland. Magnificent!!
Absolutely wonderful performance Natalie. Fantastic interpretation, rubato, dynamics. Very enjoyable for me. The piano and acoustic space are terrific also. Bravo!
Thank you Natalie for making me adore this piece of art more and more, you performance is way beyond any appraisal or rating, you really feel the melody and you don't just play it,I was feeling that in your smile, that's so genius and touching keep it up champ👌💐
Everything about this video is so utterly beautiful, and so miraculously simple. This is the essence of immortal art, beauty and simplicity. You probably understand Chopin better than any concert pianist I've ever heard, and I've listened to quite a few. Bravo!
Wow! Amazing interpretation. I have no words to describe the way you play the piano. Chopin is one of my favorite composers and I was really amazed with your performance, not only in this song, also in your other videos. You are amazing!
Loved it. New subscriber here. I am 63. I can stumble through this piece. But was never very competent in playing it. Now i am retired. Better get working on it! After hearing this youngster I am motivated! Bravo Natalie.
Natalie- I love coming back to your version! By far and away my favorite version I’ve heard and I feel like I’ve listened to most on here. You’ve inspired me to take off from where I left this piece a year back. So challenging yet so rewarding.
This a commanding yet poised rendition of a truly 'heroic' piece. Keep playing Chopin because you do one of the best jobs at it! I would love to play this piece one day - I adore all of Chopin's works - and so meanwhile I will indulge in superb recordings such as yours. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Chopin's music to the world (I live in New Zealand) and transmitting your emotions of his music to the public through your discipline, hard work and dedication. It is truly a privilege :)
You are so talented, Natalie! I hope to see play in concert with a major orchestra!! You have a gift. I was a music teacher at one time and envy the talent you possess.
Dear Natalie, it nearly looks as this piece is too easy for you... What a fantastic version of "Heroic." You look so relaxed, playing it... Easy going, not stiff or wildly concentrated. I also agree, that it's easy to hear all the notes coming from your play. They are great everyone of them, and sounds great together. Great work - Keep them coming!
I have heard this piece many, many times with all the greats, and it must be one of the hardest ever. If the balance is off by even a tiny bit, the impression is ruined. Even Horowitz, who played it for many decades, sometimes destroys it by thundering away with the left hand. This is perfectly balanced and crystal clear - bravo!
I keep listening to more and more masters play this piece and you still seem the best, because you are one of the few who can maintain the lyrical quality of Chopin throughout most of this great work. Again, congratulations on mastering a masterpiece and making it look relatively easy. Protect your art and person, it is rare for such greatness to go unfettered. The world is often cruel to the best more than others. Be very skeptical of most things, and maintain your harmony with the great composers. I would like to hear you do your magic to Debussy especially his "Images."
I haven't a clue what you wrote, but it looks impressive and no doubt states how great a pianist Natalie is. That being the case, thank you for your praise.
In my opinion, this is the best performance of Chopin's polonaise op 53. I listened to this polonaise played by Pollini back in 2019, but still distanced myself from classical piano. Of course, I had heard parts of very common pieces such as Fur Elise, Turkish March, Fantasie Impromptu, etc., but I remember being enthralled with the polonaise the first time I heard it. Ever since 2022, I started getting interested in classical piano and listening to more and more of it. Last year I started listening to Natalie Schwamova's playing, which has led to an even greater appreciation of classical music for me. She does fantastic bringing out the "Heroic quality" of the piece. Bravissimo!🎹🎹🎵
I’m appalled at the fact that I have not seen this video until today. Bravissima, Natalie!! This is how Chopin intended for this Polonaise to be played, in my opinion.
An amazingly lively performance! I stopped here since I was not happy with few other more famous performers' rendition of this Chopin Masterpiece. She plays it so naturally and beautifully in a rather unassuming posture unlike any other performer!
Holy moly! You've got a lifetime full of practice and adoration ahead of you!! Bravo

WOW! Not many people can play this piece! One of my favorites. Well done! You can tell that took a lot out of her. Amazing!

Actually millions of people can play this. However, only about 0.1% can play it really well, and only about 1% of those can play it as well as this.
