Curious: How viable would it be, to board a ferry to Malacca instead.....and then take a coach down South o Singapore. Would the timing be better, instead of the duration to Batam instead? Can spend some time in Malacca too ~ that would be fun.
Hi, Thank you for comments.:). I actually agree with you. Spend some time in Malacca would be fun😎. In fact I've tried once already few years ago before Covid period. There is a daily ferry from Dumai to Malacca (around 3.5 hours ferry ride) and then I walked few blocks away to the Hatten Hotel. There are several bus terminals for Singapore. I've also tried Medan- Tanjung Balai Asahan first, then take ferry from Tanjung Balai Asahan to KL Klang Port. I like this route and feels more fun:). Usually I'll play for half day in KL and then purposely took the midnight bus arrive SG in early morning. Haha, I miss that , should do it again!
@@Lost-In-Indonesia The portion from KL Klang port to KL would be interesting and unique; have not seen many post their experiences of travelling this route. 👍
@@jenniferlim2250 Maybe I should post this somedays, haha. From Port Klang exit, just walk about 100 meters, can take the train to KL central, then switch train to TBS (the biggest Bus terminal,). From TBS, there are almost but to singapore every hours. I usually like to take the KKK bus at midnight. Arrive SG around 5 am. Seats are very comfortable and I usually fell to sleep right away and wake up already at the Check point:)
Hey there's nothing wrong with yr flying issue. Me and hubby prefer land travel than flying. Usually fr Singapore to Malaysia. We love to enjoy the scenery of the sea, plantation, mountains and the rice fields. Friends jokingly said we insane but who cares! 😂 Me too never drink or eat before or during my bus journey. A big NO for me.
