- In the search for gold sometimes we encounter a few obstacles along the way. This trip was like no other what was supposed to be a simple trip into a new area to search for new gold deposits, things quickly turn for the worse. The overgrowth of an old prospectors trail and heavy winter rains suddenly have me in survival mode wondering whether I'll make it out alive.

I do a bit of complaining in this one but it’s trips like this I love, at least when I’m an even older man I’ll have no regrets.
Machete?
@@burner8126It isn't legal in Tasmania
@@alphauniformsierraaustrali5302 For real? How about Gardening Scissors?
@@alphauniformsierraaustrali5302 Oh yes, of course. My bad 🤭
@@jamessunderlandseventh7410 Hes not allowed to cut anything down, or he could be fined.
Thanks for taking us on another awesome adventure
The Claustrophobia is intense! A wild ride. Stay safe
I was tired just watching you crawl through that Barra. You're a machine Levi!
Brilliant adventure and brilliant story telling as always. Thank you for taking us on the adventure with you
Levi you make every Australian Proud
That True Aussie spirit, Battling on
They should have a Survivor in the Tasmanian bush. Glad ur alive!
I love the Tassie bush and all of your adventures.
That was some thick suff Levi never gives up a true warrior. Be safe my friend 🙏 can't wait for part 2
That scrub looked like absolute hell 😂
Oh my god, that was a brutal hike Levi, you definitely dedicated being. Pushing yourself through the extreme conditions to bring exciting and surreal adventures to us viewers. Pleased you got some shiny for the dog hair of a hike you had. 😮Wow
Levi, love your persistence, resilience and calm manner under all conditions. It’s what makes you so watchable and such a great leader.
Great Video Levi. Those conditions are near impossible to work in. It's not worth the risk.
I can’t believe how incredibly difficult that trek was. Kudos to you for pushing through it.
To us Queenslanders, Barra is a fish - not undergrowth. After seeing your ordeal getting in and out, I’m happy to sit and watch you on my laptop.
You are an absolute machine Levi well done.
Thank you for showing us it's not all sunshine and flowers mate. What a gnarly hike❤❤
This is why you get the gold you do. You are willing to do what many are not.
Geez Levi, that's hard yakka there mate. Sometimes, we have to experience the bad, to appreciate the good.🥃💪
Levi, only someone from Tassie could tolerate that trek.I love it but I do wonder. ! Thanks for taking us on your journey
Whoa that wild river! Tough going… 💙💪🏼🌿
Watching the latest of your videos . I've learnt alot from prospectors on RUclips. Dan Hund , Chris Ralph ,Vogus Prospecting and many more including you. Back in my village doing final preparations for a gold prospecting trip. Regards from PNG ❤❤.
PNG? Pacific north gallows? Pride never greed? Penis no Gina? People need girls? Pretty near Georgia? Possums not giraffes? Pottery not good? Party near giants? Party near gingers? Pray nightly (to) god? Please never gimp? Proper necklace gift?!
Party new girls?!
Papua New Guinea?!?!
Ps u won’t find shiz till u watch all of buckshot prospectors vids. Only Then u will find the treasure.
I'm exhausted just watching that brush bashing. Glad you made it back out safely.
Dude! You’re a beast! Thoroughly enjoyable hobby. Lovely walk in the woods, delightful little brook, and aalll that gold. Props, man. Been a longtime fan and appreciate how you go all out. Thanx as always for sharing. Love to the fam.
Just goes to show how dedicated you are that there's nothing going to stop you from doing what you love to do! Keep on sniping, Levi, and I'll catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Dude that was intense.... very impressive mate.👊
Brilliant Levi , the lengths you go too to get gold are above and beyond , thrilling stuff 👏Thanks for taking us 🪙🥇
I don't even like pushing through the thick undergrowth and brambles here in Missouri, but dang I'd hate that mess!!!
Props my brother, and thank you for the tag-along!
Needed a Machete Levi to cut your way through that undergrowth . Amazing Adventure , well worth a look ,👀 That was pretty nice gold too . 👍👍Cheers Ned . ✌
That’s insanely packed shrubs and trees, I’m surprised you don’t lose your sense of direction. Still beautiful scenery even with the weather and fast waters.
Swing and a miss, cant have a perfect run all the time.🤘
Eek… the Barra is worse! I’d be lost forever!! 😂
Your a true legend of the gold field
Congratulations on the 200k subs soon buddy!!!you clearly stopped following those ribbons. No one had been down that creek since they started making ribbons! That was sticky!
leading a group way way up river of Mallacoota once, riparian vege had us down to one k an hour; stepped up onto a log about to step down - onto a HUGE coil of Tiger - old mate just patiently waiting it out
Going through the thick is hard going, even for the strong willed a couple of days of it is demoralising. The far south it's virtually horizontal bush. Many people simply don't appreciate how thick it can get, not possible to even cut your way through and I carry a 4 foot brush hook with me.
Happy birthday for yesterday legend 💪
Add thorns and briars plus getting completely covered in ticks with steep slopes covered in leaves on top of brittle slippery limestone and it'd be like where I live in Arkansas.
Feels Levi !! Every Time I go bush walking in our beautiful forests 😎 but I have to agree ,,, worth it hey 😉
Lost in Mirkwood-nice one-i loved it-thanks
Elephant. You need a pet Elephant, it would make short work of getting you through that terrain.
What a tromp that was. We have some nasty stuff here in N. Idaho too, sometimes it almost gets like claustrophobia sets in as it gets so tight. Usually here if you just bull through it will quit. Your area is thicker though for larger areas it looks like. Well, way to go, enjoyed the whole experience.
Nasty mission that one Levie, but you completed the challenge and got some gold. If the river levels were lower im sure you would of filled the snuffer up. Welldone for not turning back and soldering on 💪🏼
Pretty hectic, mate, great work!
very very cool. by far the coolest but stay safe out there. huge fan
Bloody hell mate, that was some slog, fair play to you many would of turned back lol . The things we do for that shiny lol .
Indeed a bit of danger going on there Levi ! Keep finding that Gold Ausome!👍😎🎩⚒️G.P.
Loving the 4k mate!
that looked pretty crazy! At least you beat the skunk.
You living the life brother. Awesome adventures, exploration, discovery and gold. Nice work cobber
Sometimes you've just got to call it when faced with extreme growth like that!
That’s what you call a bad case of GOLD FEVER!!!
Tough going! No way I would have kept my sanity through that.
I love everything about this channel! ✨🔥✨👍🔔👁️
Hey Levi. Watch all your video's every week and I look forward to them. Thanks for sharing. Even the tough stuff is interesting and shows it isn't always easy doin what you do. Just a thought. When in PNG going bush, my friends would carry their large bushknives (machetes) for exactly that type of country it's amazing what they can clear away. Not sure if it's legal here in Aussie but it would be a bit safer.
Top Video Levi. Son, you deserve every speck of gold and good fortune that comes your way. You are definitely putting in the hard yards Mate. Just a quick question if I may, how do you keep your mobile phone water/pressure proof whilst working in such wet conditions? Cheers from Michael. Australia.
Patience of a saint, I would be freaking out. Have you ever found any gold in the small river? The large river looked horrendously dangerous.
You must have gold fever to go to those lengths Levi 😂😂😂
Muy buena aventura espero el segundo día descansa y buena suerte para que encuentres más pepitas
great video as always. keep it up bro. ur truly inspiring to watch
That was intense...
Thanks for taking us along your journeys Levi! Yea, not all trips are easy travels. So glad you said no to this one...I'm sure Louise would agree, and glad her beast of a husband made it back home safe and sound!❤
StrewthLevi I got exhausted just watching you struggle.. that water was far too high.
Determination and persistance finished of with a wise retreat ended a valuable recon mission. Gnarly new territory for a drier day. Great content Levi.
Great hard work 💪 👏 👍
Nice one Levi 👊
SHALOM 🔥
Machetes are nice
Holy wirebrush glad it turned out well. Best man in snipe hony. Matt is same level Thankx lee 4gettin out there
When your alone far in the mountains sometimes we feel like heading back out. Once I stepped right over a rattlesnake and I had just gotten to camp 8 miles hike. But I just relaxed and remembered when I'm in the city the only place I want to be is way out here. A companion is always better and safer. Good luck out there my friend. Joe gold
I was knackered just watching, so glad you got a few flakes, made the effort worth it to prove that river carries gold. God bless you and your family.
A piece of 2x4 with rope at each end would help step through that scub mate.
Love ya work 🤙🏽
Holly, hell. I will never complain about a few log jams in my creek ever again! Would a pair of secateurs be useful in the barrow brush! The gold you got on this trip , is a very good 8 hours for me😂😅😮😢
Looks like a pair of secateurs are required do do a little pruning 😅. Got to give it to you buddy, that's dedication to do a trekking video
A bit of a roadblock? You worry me sometimes Levi, but I do admire your determination.
A bush hook and pocket saw would have come in handy.
As the crow said “ Farrrrk”. Tough slog Levi. You must have a custom made wetsuit to fit in all that testicular fortitude. Glad you did get some gold but bloody hell. Take care mate 😁👍
Brother.... you're not even wearing gloves for that hellbush?! I respect the willpower, but damn. Btw I hope you have a satellite phone with you for emergencies? Stay safe out there!
Hi Levi , I can hear you say you are crawling under Barra , I have heard about Barramundi , is it related ? Another great video and thanks , Cheers .
Mate : incredible journey to get to the river but hey you had a crack
Lot of work for a few flakes lol you machine 💪
Now that's really going were no man has gone before to get gold.
If I had an amazing relationship, awesome kids, i wouldn't abandon them for bleak struggles thru horrible hikes.
Love ya work Levi, but man Im to old for that shit, its great watching your videos mate stay safe.
I don't believe I have ever seen anything more foreboding, more challenging a trek through near impenetrable growth. Did you intentionally not bring a cutting blade? Might that have been too dangerous to wield?
God that looks miserable. Thank you for showing this side of it.
Lucky there are no Lions Tigers and Bears and Leeches in that area..Just GOLD
I do count my chickens
@@officialtassieboysprospecting Who say's there are no tigers!!
Plenty of leeches
Bro when you were pushing through thick bushes you had no protection for the head. So make sure the safety first. Stay blessed ❤
Good on’ya for showing the winners and the losers
Levi's next brand, Tassie boys machete, Gold coloured and razor sharp.
I've always wondered if you ever look for where the likely spots that the gold entered the river?
It was from a movie I saw, of a prospector working a creek up and down, to find the greater amount of gold in the water, then working the land to the same effect.
I appreciate the tour of Taz I did feel for you.on this one
Hey Levi. That was heavy scrub. Not sure a GPS would even work in the heavy growth. Stay safe
Luckily they do
Most the time
i apreciated that what you did, i wonder what it make river water look like tea water?
Fair dinkum, Levi! Brutal bush, Baueri. You ought be training up our and our allies' special forces, you'll have a crew of Singaporeans or Thai bush-bashing then snorkeling silently up onto Henry Jones' jam factory hotel, vhaving sniped some sovereigns and holey dollars from Hobart harbour, ha!
Mate, for a moment there I was pretty sure you were going to bump into Dr Livingstone, it certainly was hectic. Maybe in places like that you should take a buddy. Just sayen
Great video.
You need to get the mrs a helicopter for Christmas.
Maybe she can drop you in and pick you up from the role ladder.
I'm gonna watch on the big screen .. I bet it's EPIC!!
Gday be safe in the dead of winter the weather and water can be very treacherous by the way a miner in the USA CAME UP WITH A GREAT IDEA FOR SNIPING IN CREVICES HE USED A UNDERWATER POOL FILTER MODIFIED TO COLLECT SANDS AND GOLD HE REMOVED THE INLINE FILTER AND REPLACED IT WITH A ROCK FILTER CATCH. IT MAY WORK REALLY WELL IN QUICK SNIPES
Ask Jeff Williams had the idea on his page and used it it may come in handy I think fill a 5 gallon bucket and then go through it with a pan when you get cold and need to warm up
Maybe carry a machete next time for some of that Bush. What a trek!!!
wow the flood water goes in land pretty far so when it recides you know where to swing the metal detector😅
