I did have a question, when you were talking about linking I didn't quite understand the value part, so I wanted to clarify, when asking for links to make our sites or my site authoritative, its a give take, I understand that, but what if I simply just write an article and put links from other reputable sites in my articles, is that something that requires permission, and that does not matter as in would I need to potentially pay for that, or is that what you meant by "Guest Post" ?
I watched this yesterday and started watching the free training. My new website is 2 weeks old but after watching this video, I made a tiny change in the titles of my blocks and today I ranked 7th on Google!!! I feel like I've won the Superbowl!!! Only 2 people have visted the site, one from Panama, one from Canada (probably my daughter). Hey Adam, can you make a detailed yet not complicated crash course for keyword research for content writers, copywriters and social media managers in 2024 and 2025? I have been working as a content writer and copywriter for past 6 years (LinkedIn profile exists) and unfortunately when I started out, I didn't knew nor tried to learn "keyword research" thing as I was provided keyword by others in my team or the clients I was working so, now things are different post 2020, so a small crash course with free and paid tools and how to find them for different clients of same field or different businesses and services, would be commendable and appreciated. At 28:18 (roughly) The screen cuts off so we can't see your SEO short URL example. Do you have a list of examples for that? Also, I use WordPress and RankMath and it dings me points if I don't include a number and a power word with my keyword. In WordPress the URL and title are synonymous so how do you change that so the link is more universal, so to speak, and the title is specific?

Do you know how backlinks work on social media sites? Technically, if we share a blog on FB/Twitter, etc. it's on another high traffic site, but obviously anyone can add infinite backlinks to social media. Divi is fine. As long as you're on WordPress you are good to go and you can always change your theme in a few years if you want. Just make sure you don't have too many plugins installed or ones that slow you down like Jetpack.

If you run an ecommerce site and you want to write blog posts on that ecommerce site, you should stay in your niche but you can branch out when it comes to topics. For example, I'd look at what REI does. For example, they sell hiking boots, so blog posts could branch out to things like: hiking boots sizing guides, best hiking boots, best hiking trails in Colorado, etc. An ecommerce blog should stay in the niche but go broader in search intent. If you're selling products, people need to at least be interested in the content and be potential customers.

I would go with one broad niche to start with and test multiple subniches within it. For example, travel could be places to go, travel gear, travel finance stuff, but staying within one main niche.

If you made a video for those of us that can't afford $100 a month for SEO elite tools that would be amazing! There doesn't seem to be a clear path up to eventually be able to afford those steep prices that seem more suited for corporations and 6 and 7 digit incomes. Also, you said to buy a month and do 6 months of research, but you also said SEO can be time sensitive. No shade here, but is it even worth spending $100 for Ahrefs to do that 6 months research if it is time sensitive per what people are searching for? Or do the time sensitivities extend out 6 months? I guess it could depend on the niche though. But I'm worried I'd just be wasting my money to obtain keywords that might not mean shit in 6 months. Lookin' for a friend here. 😂

I’d look at the competition for each target keyword and make sure your length is in the same ballpark. Longer doesn’t always mean better rankings though, as it’s all about search intent and providing the best information. I would use a tool like SurferSEO to give you all of this data as you write your articles.

Depends on the niche, but under 30 is a good place to start.
