One officer for 75 inmates , what can the officer do
What about 1-84?
A man would have to be very hard up for a job to work there....imagine the smell.
I used to work at the Fulton county jail. The floors can get up to 300 with the inmates…. It was never heard of us having only 75 inmates on the floor.

Unless they have the man power at the facilities, live cameras won’t stop anything. Plus, guards are known to establish prohibited relationships with inmates.
A.I. could be trained to catch disturbances in infinite numbers of cameras.

@@dominiquejones50 It's like they want it dangerous. So it puts fear into people, so they don't commit crimes. But it's just making everyone want to run from the police or shoot at them so they don't go to jail and put up with the hell behind bars.

Keep them fools locked up. Why are they. Open. Cells U having open door to where they can just freely rants around they committed crimes and they should be locked up in each to to sell and when it’s lunchtime to get out and when it’s recess to get out but whenever it’s just free time and everybody’s walking around, I’ve heard this before they really don’t have the doors locked up free to walk around into anybody’s dorm and that leaves a liability of somebody getting hurt.

They survived on the street with those same conditions for years and die within weeks of being in that jail I can't believe they haven't shut it down yet 🤦🏾♂️
Hmmm, wonder how we could make jail and prison less attractive. Maybe we start treating criminals like they were somewhere other than summer camp. Maybe more like boot camp every day they are there.

the more of them un-alive, the less of them are released and less of them re-offend. also the violent individual might get extra charges, so extended sentence. so it's a win win for public safety. the sad part is the staff are in danger.

50% of any Sheriff's budget is tagged for medical. If someone is admitted to jail with cancer, diabetes, or other medical conditions, it's a crap shoot. Someone can die from their preexisting illness at anytime. With that said, why is the sheriff the focus of attention?

So it’s a surprise to these jail managers that inmates aren’t all in the best of health? Drug addicts and alcoholics make up a vast percentage of prisoners. America is the wealthiest country on the planet. It shouldn’t have jails as bad as this. It’s a disgrace.

Rare, but someone could have been a mistaken identity and get stabbed up for a police mistake. So it would be better for the jail system to operate properly so in the event that you get mistakenly detained, you won't die while the fix the clerical order or bc an officer got mad that you raised your voice and detained you for annoying them.
