- The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in Utah is a wonderful destination for the Overlanding inclined. Routes like Lockhart Basin, Elephant Hill, Beef Basin, and Bobbie's Hole to name just a few are all around this dispersed campsite. Being so close to the park just adds to its appeal.

Love it! We're overlanding southern Utah next month and this helps tremendously with our scouting for spots
Beautiful spot to camp. Thanks for showing us
Amazing! Thank you so much. Are there other dispersed camping spots along Lock Hart Rd? Thanks.
Thank you! I look forward to more.
I love southern Utah, absolutely beautiful country!!
Thank you for sharing!
Thank You!
Nice video. We will have to check out that site on our next trip to Moab. New subscriber.
wow! beautiful! Could you mention in your videos whether sites are suitable for campers? Thanks!
Good suggestion, thank you. In my experience, the real question would be what do you drive and are you pulling Traylor? Look at 2 min, 27 sec. in the video that's a wash, this would stop a Honda Accord and a holiday Traylor. Any SUV would be fine. Along this road, there are 100's of campsite's mostly RV capable.
When you saying camper are you referring truck and box camper?
@@markbouliane6289 Hi Mark, love your video... We'll be in Utah in May and we're renting a pick-up camper from Cruise America. Would you think that these vehicles are fit to drive these kind of dust roads? We're from Europe, so we are not very familiar with the bigger types of cars that are used in the US :-) We would love to camp in places like in your video, away from it all... We just hope that we can with the pick-up camper (Ford F150 XLT SuperCab, 2-wheel drive).
How busy is this campsite typically?
Suggestion for future videos: include still photos of the series of signs at :30. This way, the viewers can pause the video to get a better idea of the neighbourhood and what lies ahead.
Thanks for making the video. Is this a site that you need reservations or permits? Or is it first come first serve? Thanks
Dodge Ram 4x4 , 27’ travel trailer with high clearance. If not that exact location are there other spots close by that would work? Thanks for your help!
