Totally impressed that you have a box of lures with trebles and pull out one at a time 🤔 there must be a secret I don’t know about. I hope you get out there and chase a few mate.
Hi Robbie, I hope you get better. Some osteos are magicians, one of them put me back on my feet twenty years ago when I thought my life was done. Keep well and all the best! I bear with you. 🤣
Can i ask you for doctors name? I’ve been suffering for 30 years on and off but getting worse and linger with age, im 50 now, understand if dont want to give names in internet mate
You certainly put a lot of effort into producing this video; great formatting. Those hook covers do make separating lures much easier and also prevent the random stabbings which occur when you try to shake a lure free from the pile.
Thanks so much Glen. They certainly do and I have a heap of them here in my shed. I really need to use them. I'm a shocker for "being set in my ways". LOL 😂
Loved your presentation at the codference, and was lucky enough to meet you briefly. Hope you heal up nice and quick, really appreciate the lure content even though you can’t use em much currently.
Hahaha thank you so much Grumpy. 🙏👍 I wouldn't put you through that kind of pain mate. Whilst filming yesterday I swallowed a fly. I gagged and coughed up half a lung trying to get it out. LOL 😅😅 I left the scene in the video and it's DISGUSTING, but entertaining. LOL
What a way to end the b-day! With a Robbie video!!!!! How’s the back feeling? Hoping you’re on the up! Keep up the amazing work! Tight lines brotha! 🤙🎣🤙🎣🤙🎣
I feel your pain Robbie, I've had trouble with my sciatic nerve sine 1980 and it's bloody rough. There has been times when I've been laid up in bed for almost 2 weeks at a time and never in a position where it's comfortable. Over the years though I have learned to know the signs and in most (but not all cases) I can tell when it's going to happen. I hope for your sake that you also find a way to identify those signs to make life easier for you. It's bloody debilitating and stays forever so look for those signs.
@@TheThetechnician Not wrong, lotsof treatments that do nothing but make them rich and still lots of pain down my left leg. Luckily I now know some of the signs and can avoid some, but not all of the problem.
Thanks so much Mick. WOW, what an ordeal you have been through. It's bloody horrible. I had heard of it before, but until now I didn't realise what it was or just how bad it is. I'm glad to hear you've found a way to manage it. I'm sure I will develop a system too.
Great video Robbie 👍 there is someone coming from a Victorian Fish Hatchery on sunday 1/12/24 to My Family Fish Hatchery to buy 5000 Murray Cod fingerlings to release into the Victorian Rivers and Creeks
love the sound affects really helpful even though i haven’t finished the video yet. if your going after some cod the Chasebaits Flexi Frog Lure is incredible the best top water lure for early morning sessions. crank baits are also good fun. hope everything goes well. have a good one mate
Great vid Robbie for green fish time! Shame your sciatica is playing up. I get it every now and then...must be an age thing? 50+ and that's when your body goes fuk you!!!! Fukn hurts to move. I do need to go chase a green fish again soon!! Mulwala here I come!
Thanks Phil. Good luck mate. There should be less people on Monday.. There is a flush of dirty water coming your way mate. Fishing ahead of a flush can be excellent. It's just passing through Wangaratta now.
Great selection of lures you have. Also had an idea you should do a Temu challenge 🤣 often the ads are temu so maybe buy a bunch of lures from there 🤣🤣
Mate, as you know this coming weekend is bigger than the Melbourne Cup and the AFL combined.. I hope you can get out and you know we will catch up soon. Take care legend
Hopefully the weather levels out here in NE Vic clears up in the next couple of days so we'll be able to get out, I'm on the Vic/NSW border about 45mins away from you but do a fair amount of my cod chasing down around your area. My buddy and I have been keeping an eye on the forecast and we're thinking Monday might be our best bet! We'll hopefully be starting our day off on a stretch of the ovens on the back of some friends property and then possibly move ourselves round to either the reserve or the beaches for some lunch and a bit of bait fishing. Hopefully the back gets better soon, my old man is unfortunately in a similar boat(no pun intended cause that's about all he can do these days is sit in the boat😢), he was a commercial cleaner for 25years through the late 80s-early 00s and carrying around those old backpack vacuums that weighed 30kgs empty has bloody ruined him. Not sure if you remember but I sent you a photo of his 110cm cod a few years ago taken on the stumpjumper outside Albury, he quite often jokes that if he ever caught another fish of that size he'd have no choice but to let it take him😂 Hope to see you back on the feet and throwing the lures round with Brett soon, your Cod opening videos with him have been some of my faves for the last few years
Thank you so much mate. To be honest I can't remember that photo. I'm so sorry. 😢 Just a heads up, you may want to consider the Murray River. The Ovens has risen over 2 meters on Wang and is still rising. It's absolutely filthy and we have more rain forecast. If you're bait fishing you might find a quiet backwater, but lure fisherman will really struggle this weekend. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate. I wish I had a dollar for every time this happened on cod opening.
Nah no need for an apology mate, it was several years ago, now that I think about it I haven't been on Facebook personally for about 6 or 7 years😂 Bloody hell that is a LOT of water😱 I just double checked and the property actually leads onto the King River but I'm guessing that'll be much the same😅 Ah well, I know a few decent little backwashes to drown some worms and cheese in and might have to venture back closer to home and poke around Murray from Corowa back to the weir😂 Tight lines mate, can't wait to see your video✌🏻

G'day Robbie, huge fan of your fishing content! I've watched most of your videos and learned a lot from your expertise. I was wondering if you're free on December 1st? I'd love to take you to Gorman Park in Mulwala, just after Yarra Weir. It's a spot I'm familiar with, and I think you'd enjoy it. More than showing you the spots, I'm eager to learn from you and pick up some new tips and techniques. Your knowledge and passion for fishing are inspiring, and I'd be stoked to spend a day with you. Let me know if you're interested and available!!!! Thanks in advance ❤
