Hmm, imagine expecting flawed humans to expect another human to be unflawed in a relationship. Actually, Nia was interviewed for Essence years ago and she said she wasn’t a fan of marriage and felt like there didn’t need to be any labels to prove love to one another, etc. She also said she’s never seen a marriage work. I’m assuming she means in her personal life. She said she’s not saying she’ll never get married, but it’s not a priority.

Nia or any woman don’t need this type of drama. To me…I get the context if you have children, but it’s not the wife that’s breaking the family, it’s the man who can’t control is Northern region that’s breaking up the family. People will treat you the way you allow them to treat you. Nia made the right move to leave her ex. Especially in a situation where the whole world knows about it. Maybe it might be different if it was a private situation and nobody knew about it where her and her ex could go through counseling to work it out IF he didn’t have a history of stepping out on her. But the messy way this all came out, she had to leave. Plus she is raising a son so her son needs to know this not the way to treat a spouse or partner. Also, when a partner cheats, it puts the other person at risk for catching a STD which impacts who she can be with in the future. She did the right thing to move on from him since her ex still wants to play the field but wants his woman to stay at home 🏡.
But that is how they think! Al said, "sit there and eat" like a pet or piece of furniture (always at the house) while they go live "the single life".......This war on a woman's worth is serious!

They are not "built to cheat." That is always a choice, and Nia _chose_ herself over that relationship. Having a partner who cheats even once can be deteimental do your self-esteem and mental health. When you get engaged to someone and you still waiting for that wedding well it most of the time is not going to happen. Thats why its important to stop having children by someone who promise you nothing but promise. Sometimes being engaged is just to keep you around.
I said the same thing about Wendy Williams. She moved because of public opinion when she knew about the woman for a decade and heartbreak caused so many health issues.
