Its not blinding :S.. I went on a test drive on a really sunny day before buying one of these and I never really got blinded.. plus it really gives what Acura wants all their cars to look like.. Sporty & Luxury at the same time.
I used to own a Ranger Rover (2005). After repeated visits to the mechanic (and the gas pump), I sold the leathery $80K vehicle (got a great deal too). Looked at Cayenne, BMW X5 and the Merc GL. The GL handled like a boat when it turned, too floaty and really expensive. The Porsche was too heavy, undersized inside, pricey with options & ugly too. The X5 underpowered (260 at the time), expensive and heavy. I got the MDX, more space, reliable, fast, safe, sporty and packed with features. Love it!
I don't quite know what you're on about with "people think Acuras are the most expensive car" Quite to the contrary, Acura owners are proud that they own the cheapest luxury brand out there. And, every major study has shown that Honda (and subsequently Acura) is one of the most reliable brands sold in the United States. You can't argue with statistics!
I don't think the center stack has to much buttons. It is just right. As long as you read the manual first to get familiar with what the buttons do, you will be okay.
I won a 2005 MDX. And got a new generation for a coutesy car for a couple weeks while mine was in the shop. And I have to say. The older generation is better. Better gas mileage and more boot space. old one is better looking too. Do like the traffic GPS on the new one though! Do you think I could drive the MDX off-road. Like on sand, beaches and stuff or is it too low?
azura13liss are you serious? the motors are nothing alike... the original nsx had a c series motor and the new one doesnt have a j series like this..the nsx makes a ton more power and the mdx might be rated for "300hp" but in theory it only is putting maybe 245 to the wheels.
245 to the wheels? hahahahahahahahahhahaa Yeah nope. At most is giving 190whp.. Richie V6 made several Dyno Runs for his performance upgrades for the J-Pipe, Pre-Cats and HFC.. After all those mods it got a top of 215whp after 1500 bucks worth of parts. SH-AWD kills it with tons of drivetrain loss... Remove the SH-AWD fuse to defeat AWD and MANNN You will be wheel spinning all the way into 3rd gear.
Finally picked up my 2007 mdx ...in the year 2020 ..🥳🥳
Lol same !! I have a 2008 !! Wanted to get a 2007 Infiniti FX35 for the way it drives. But the Acura sold me once i drove it haha
