To answer the question “why is their audience sound?” The line in the song right before is “let me hear your voice” It’s going to be awesome live. I can’t wait
Glad to see you back reacting to the Maids. This is an epic song from their latest album, "Epic Narratives". This song takes you on a journey of ups and downs the rollercoaster ride life takes us on. A new song just dropped a week and a half ago or so. "Zen" is the opening theme for the new anime "Zenshu". Check it out! Rock on with more of the Maids! PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
Hey DJ!! I know its been a minutes since I posted or stopped by but I'm still here. I love the intro and it was great to hear your thoughts on my favorite band. I will drop ya a line soon and be safe up there!
Oh...and I agree with some of the other Maidiacs. Add the hyphen to Band-Maid. I think the algo would work better. My 2 yen thought...take it for what it's worth. 😝
Thanks for your thoughts on this one! The drummer and bassist both went to the Tokyo School of Music, which I suspect starts with jazz like we might start with a 4-chord shuffle, so Akane would know the traditional grip well, and Misa plays jazz-style bass well and I'm surprised she didn't use it for the swing part (which probably means it didn't work sonically as well as a pick). Small world -- I'll be passing Temple on the way to a Center City radio station I'm fixing tomorrow.
Interesting note on the "traditional grip" there... that's an artifact of the camera angle that this is what it looks like... it's not traditional grip, Akane chokes up on the left stick significantly quite a lot of the time to get a similar sort of balance as traditional grip, but it's still overhand (people note this all the time on the extended drum solo on the live Freedom video). Somebody check me, because I'm absolutely willing to believe that Akane would learn traditional grip for a part... I just don't think that's what's going on here from what I can see. Still... very cool you noticed the technique at all from a quarter second or so of frames. Subbed! Not sure why I wasn't before, but you know your stuff, and clearly can see that the Maids are a top notch outfit, so, heck yeah!
Akane is using a "traditional grip". On their OMV, pause it at 1:50 and move into 1:51 frame by frame. After about 8 frames into 1:51, the scene flips from MISA to Akane, and there's are about 17 frames...where you can see the thumb up over the stick, palm up as she's playing. Since she did go to music school, she would at the very least have learned about it. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
I don't know about the tagline. It's not a tagline as it's not in every song. It's unique to this song. I guess this is my one criticism with this Band-Maid reaction -- the backup vocalist and bassist is the common theme. You'll hear them in every song SHINING. :)
I have a tab open all day with the search "Band Maid reaction". I refresh it several times a day, but your reaction didn't appear once. The algorithm did you dirty, friend.
Every new Band-Maid song rings out with new and innovative riff and chord structures, beat patterns and fills, vocal runs, backups, melodies and lyrics. The Maids continue to pack so much into their songs without them feeling cluttered, repetitive or overplayed. Their composition and execution is always refreshing and amazing to witness and hear. Once again, the supreme Maids -- Kanami, Saiki, Miku, Akane and MISA -- push their contributions to exciting, new levels of writing, playing and performance! We are so lucky to be living in the age of Band-Maid!🤘🎀🤘 Thx, DJ!
well diverse and dynamically good band.....not to flashy , just complex composition, dynamics , diverse ,musicianship, etc...name it that have it...band maid may overlook by some but those people are willing to to discover great music band maid is the band your looking for
Alot of great rock bands out of Japan right now, Rolling Quartz out of South Korea is good too. Nemophila and Love Bites are two other ones i van think of.
My guess is he is being affected by that other youtube music teacher guy who has a similar name. The guy who has been almost conclusively shown to be lip singing on several of his videos, all while claiming to be the most wonderful singer around.

Excellent reaction. You pointed out some details that no other reactor has. I wasn’t subscribed, but now I am.

More Band-Maid! They just released a new song called "Zen", and Kanami is in full Mincho mode!

Thank you for your comments and reaction to Band-Maid’s ‘Forbidden Tale’. You are always informative and appreciated.
Thanks man and as others have said, more BAND-MAID please 😊. I appreciate your insights.

It must be the missing hyphen.
Is that the reason?
It has been for a while 😂 I just take it and move on lol
Rocking performance.🤘😆🤘 I definitely don't want to hang with anyone dead, them, me or both.😜

That sucks was not Canadian.
Why so few views? Why did you not show up, even when searching for new reactions for this song? Have you pissed off the YT algorithm?
