Man, thx for the notification of this great vid of T-17! She's indeed a magnificient tigress and this vid does a good job showcasing her size &grace. From this clip we can see why her sis reached 170kg at 27-28 months of age. She was born in 11 or 12-06, so she's about 3.5 yo in this vid. Also, in your web site, there're pics of a male tiger taken in kanha in 2007, in kisli zone if I'm right. That tiger is none other than the giant male Banda, which was killed by Munna in 04-2009.

Dear Asian buffalo have just posted a video of Machli. It is some nice footage of her in the water and then moving away and we followed her. Just search Flying tigress again!

May I ask when did your friends take those pics in 2007? The reason I'm asking is because sometime late 2007, Banda travelled into kisli range and killed the then dominant male of kisli named Konda and took over his territory. Banda then ruled the kisli zone until he was killed by Munna at the age of 4 in 2009. The 2 tigresses of kanh whose pics are on your site are the link 7 and the umarpani tigresses. Link 7 is very huge and is the mother of the late Banda. Umaparni is also good-sized.

t17 did not have a collar. if it had a collar she would not be untraceable.

Sorry but it is T17 we saw her many times. We were with Ranthambhore expert guides. As far as I am aware the collar did work but then stopped working even though it was still round her neck.
