💯
Perfect amount of everything. 😁
He managed to say "bear with me" un ironically. He's a beast
Breakfast beer?’ 🤣 love it
Wheaties came out with a beer. Now truly the breakfast of champions.
Yep It ticked the final box!
Steves speaking my language lol
I love the cooking specials that teach us how to make the animals that we kill the best way possible.
I agree, but most people will not go the lengths of these videos. They do give some ideas to me but for the most part I always do my wild game the same. I keep it simple with burger and steaks, maybe a few roasts. The rest is just icing, I never pay for a processor to cut my game.
Solomon Pace You have to say “harvest” not kill you never know when the vegans are around... lol
He has a great cook book too
I have to admit, watching him, I'm gonna be trying out sausage making at some point in the future. After I get my first buck this fall. lol
The only time Steve ever poaches anything is when he eats his eggs 😄
I see what you did there 🤔
Oh god x)
Bruh thats a epic comment 😂 🤣 However most will never get it, or you would have had 10,000 👍 for sure.
if you read his book, you'll know that that isn't exactly true.
@@Thisismycomment. he has a story about his youthful greed getting the better of him, as well as the ancient tradition of "camp meat". One is an admission of guilt, the other is more of a talk about the traditions of some outdoorsmen. Obviously statute of limitations and all apply. I won't spoil the story, the book is a good read, and I think it's very humble of him to include the poaching story the way he does. He admits that nobody, himself included is perfect.
“Bear with me” ah ha ha
I’ve been watching Meateater longer than my dads been at the store
oooof. i felt that.
Don't worry, im with you. I'm waiting for daddy rinella to back from the fish shack to make breakfast for me and mom.
😂😂😂😂
i believe that makes steve you dad now
He said he went for cigarettes 18 years ago.........
Oooof
Best hunting show out there. The whole Meateater crew do a great job of honoring the wild game.
That scotch egg looks incredible!
"Bear with me" nice one lol
You know I had to *paws* after hearing that and scroll through the comments to see if anyone else caught that
Y’all are putting the bear minimum effort into these puns.
Almost good enough for a like. Your just short of cleverness points for me maybe next time. 👍😁
The “safe sausage making” crack was pretty funny too lol
I F'in love that 60 plp had my same thought process😂😂
Wild boar sausage gravy and biscuits is where its at
...for breakfast!
14:52 “gonna practice safe sausage making”
"I always practice safe sausage making" cracked me up hahaha
I don't know what I find more impressive. His hunting or cooking skills.
Steve has definitely became my new favorite outdoorsmen to watch over the years. He's humble and you can tell the outdoors is a huge part of his life.
He's doing it right.
Steve you probably don’t know this but we Asian love watching your video. Especially me. I’m a hunter myself
What do you hunt?
Do you still live in Asia?
I love hearing about how and what other countries hunt.
Hunting has a way of bringing people together that few other activities are able to do.
I gotta say..That elk hash looked amazing! I could eat that every morning.
Rinella is blessed with having the rare talent not only in the doing but n the teaching as well. Always a joy watching him in a wilderness and in his kitchen
I'm gonna remember this video in the morning, and it's really gonna take the luster out of my microwaved oatmeal. Love these cooking specials. Seeing the kind of amazing meals you can make with wild game is what has rekindled my interest in hunting. I've never actually killed an animal before, but I hope to change that this spring turkey season. Hopefully I'll get to try out some of the recipes I've seen on this show for myself with my own wild turkey. It's gonna be a long couple of months waiting for opening day.
The only person in the world interesting enough to say bear with me without saying pun unattended
These cooking specials are damn near my favorite to watch.
I would pay to see Gordon Ramsey and Steve do a collab
Why hasn’t this happened already.
Eh I can't see it, just cause I don't see their personalitys meshing
Or J Kenji Lopez Alt for something a little less frantic.
I’d love to see Steve collaborate with a chef with integrity. Gordon Ramsay is a douche bag. A good cook? Sure. A successful businessman? Absolutely. But he’s a shit human being and would have nothing worth contributing. Fuck him.
@@philiphahn6086 you do realize Chef Ramsay kills his own food and has other people butcher it for him but this guy could do it for Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay could hunt it he could butcher and cure it etc and then Ramsey and him could face off on food styles
I literally just ate a venison steak and fresh eggs this morning!! Best breakfast ever :)
How do you get over the wild game taste???? I want to get into more wild game but recently bought venison and elk steaks and I just can’t down it.
@@mikey51951 how does everybody here prepare it? Like what seasoning
Marinate in Italian dressing
Venison chorizo with eggs n toast is good enough to slap 1s momma..
@@anthonygutierrez1620 idk if u eat "ethnic" food but any seasonings/marinades ur mom or abuela used r what u use
I'll be honest I almost like watching Steve cook more than I do him hunting! It'd be awesome to see him hunting and cooking with Gordon Ramsay or something.
Ramsay never will as much class as Steve... I would never let him in my kitchen, Steve could come anytime....
@@bikesbees9392 I disagree I think Gordon has class as well. He has a different approach on things and it would be interesting to see both of them cook wild game.
@@bikesbees9392 how is Gordon not classy lol
This would be a great episode
Could be very interesting. One provides the raw products and the other cooks them to perfection. Match made in heaven
Breakfast beer is a great idea. Nice cabin Steve.
Ah, breakfast beer. It's among the finest of the morning beers.
Dude I remember Heraldo busting into the vault! Great video !!
THESE ALL LOOK SO GOOD!
dead animals don't look good
I love deer sausage and eggs for breakfast 👍
I would absolutely pay to join somebody in hunting and preparing meals like this. This guy is going to get me hunting.
All those recipes look so delicious after you've cooked them. I remember watching the episode where the moose charged you after you shot it. That was one of my favorite episodes. *glad you didn't get hurt* The other episode, is where a mother bear * she had 3 cubs with her* charged you and another one of your friends. Those are some pretty intense moments. I'm glad no one got hurt.
These cooking episodes are great Steve. Thanks a bunch!
I would love to see Steve do more fishing and just straight up fish dishes
I’ve always stuck to simple things with my wild game meats just because it’s easier but after watching the meat eater cooking specials it’s given me something to look forward to for the upcoming seasons! Love the show Steve and all the work you do.
Love that he enjoys a breakfast beer too
Breakfast by far my favorite meal of the day, and this wild game breakfast looks fantastic,
Fun fact, the bull elk he killed in Kentucky, was actually took about 10 miles from where I live. There was about 100-150 elk took from 5 miles out of cove, Oregon.
Never gets enough respect as a cook! Steven is the man!
My family always called that particular breakfast (Toad in the hole, Hen in the nest, etc.) Elephants Eye.
Poached egg tip: once you get your boil going, turn the temp back so its barely bubbling, stir the water so its swirling around the pan, then crack and drop the egg into the center of the swirl. That helps keep the whites together instead of splitting up.
Unbelievable. Breakfast cuisine is totally under appreciated. Love how he went big on his dishes.
I'm 40 and been hunting my hole life, I through I new everything about wild game . Boy was I wrong!!!! You and rhe king !!!
All looked so great. Would like to try them all. I’ve watched this video several times!
All of these are absolutely amazing. Awesome job and I love watching your videos!
I really enjoyed this episode. It had me realize that the right recipes and the right techniques can produce outstanding results. Thank you!
Yet another GREAT episode! Keep these cooking specials going! They are really gooooood! :D love from sweden
Fuck. That is off the chain...that frickin egg thing at the end. It was amazing. Thanks Steven. You are a God
Scotch eggs are great until you finish one and feel like you are about to have a heart attack from all the fat and protein. Made with a smaller egg such as a quail could be fun.
The moose ran me over. It was fun...🤣
I love how this dude does his stuff, but it still gives me the heebeejeebees every time watching him be a bit cavalier with the bear meet.
Your production, adventures and shared wisdom are so entertaining Steve.
deer steaks for dinner last night. homemade bacon BLT's this morn. whippin up some moose chops and mushroom/shallot cream sauce tonight.. 2020 season was good!!!
and yup.. breakfast beers are the best..
I had seared duck breast and duck dressing for my supper. @ be ghjy how does moose compare to deer I have never had a chance to try it?
You Steven, are a teacher! I love the hunting and also the cook teaching you are doing! And if you dont hunt the cooking can probably work with store bought meat even. I love it all! TY
That egg in the bread is what we call a “spit in the eye”.
The Scotch egg, paired with your breaky hash and beer is a perfectly balanced dinner for any day of the week! Cheers, ill be making this tomorrow, once the meat has all thawed out!
This wild man a wild game cooking enthusiast also genius. I love trying new dishes. Never any disappointment with MR. Rinella. Thanks for these videos Sir.
I love this channel. Not even because of the hunting itself, but because of your appreciation for nature and also how to use the meat you harvested the best way.
I ate right before I watched this, and I'm STARVIN again!! So Im thawing out some Whitetail Beacon Burger for some of them Scotch breakfast balls! Kick-Ass recipe's Steve, thanks!
Love this show and especially the cooking part
Been waiting for a breakfast cook. Hell yeah
I have an elk shoulder in the freezer and I’ve never made made corned elk. And I love the Yukon golds! It’s going to be a great weekend!
Damn that corned Elk hash looked really good.
I'll tell you what, he knocked all 4 of those breakfast recipes, out of the park.
this has got to be the best cooking video ive ever seen on youtube
little tip for anyone who wants to try and make poached eggs. Stir the water before putting the eggs in. it will center the yolk inside the white and get rid of all the little wispies youll get from the white.
You watch Wilderness Cooking with that Chef from Slavic country. Good for you! I see your 2 recipes are so similar. But he always cooks outdoors for the children in his village!!! Cool beans ! SUPER!!!
Very amazing meal , great job. Hunters know exactly how to utilize the game , super healthy and amazing. Amen
Absolutely wonderful video l ! I'll be sure to try all of these recipes after my next hunt 🙂
Wow everything looks great ty for sharing 😋
This made me chuckle... My mom and I always called that egg in the basket!!
Love seeing Steve experiment!
This is a great episode! I'm a chef and moving to Montana, very excited to be closer to the source and experiment with game meats.
Everything looked perfect! Steve's got some skills!
Growing up as a kid. We ALWAYS ate Deer with pancakes/waffles.
We ALWAYS cut Deer meat into 1 inch x 2 inch stips. Then salt and coat in flour. Fry on a skillet.
Love your show man!!! Love how you show where the meat came from that’s awesome 👏🏽 hopefully you can do another episode at the JRE! Big fan here sir 👍🏽
all of that looked so good! wow
Flippin' awesome!
great job! glad to see someone thinking/Cooking! out side the box. I love my Rack of Black tail deer!
Breakfast beer!!
Thanks Steve !
You are awesome! Thank you for sharing!!
Great recipes Steve! I love what you do and aspire to be like you but it's hard without a mentor. I'm a good fisherman but hunting is hard with no one to help you. I do learn a lot from you an for that I am grateful.
One of my favorite pre-hunt breakfasts is butterfly-cut backstrap, breaded and fried, with eggs. Pancakes are also an option
This is making me preposterously hungry! Steve is a true culinary artist.
Absolutely love your stuff man
Your brine for the corn beef elk is very similar to a brine that I use for duck breast with the exception that I use brown sugar. Great video. Made me hungery.
Love the cooking vids !!!!!!!! THANK YOU !!!!!!!!
The toast with the egg in the center, we were taught was called "one eyed jacks".
Amazing food and great ideas!
Another excellent video Steve, its great what I am learning and also I hope it entises more people to eat game, a real hunter will consume what they hunt and respect it, keep up the great work
All looked delicious nice job
Gordon Ramsey would be Humbled if he joined you in your kitchen for this kind of information and Deliciousness from animals that YOU hunted! You're the man Steven.👍
That corned elk hash sounds awesome. I'm gonna have to make it for my family. Might try it with venison and or bear
That corned elk was genius. Gonna have to try that
Steve, that was incredible.
Let me just pull my elk bear and moose out of the freezer. 🤣
Don't forget the wild pig
Did you miss the pun Steve when you were talking about the bear bacon? “Bear with me” lol
I get hungry every time i watch this stuff!! lol
Good job on the Scotch Egg there. Perfect. With Beer!
Yum! Looks phenomenal! 👍💪🦌🎣
This will be my first year hunting deer and everyone I know that hunts just does loin and grid. Im a foodie at heart so Im loving all your videos on breaking down a deer and now this. I was thinking that maybe deer pastrami could be possible, but Ill have to try a corned venison also.
I have always been reluctant to make scotch eggs from game, but you convinced me Steve. I have lots of roedeer neck and front leg meat which I usually use for burgers. But I am definitely going to make some sausage dough now for scotch eggs.
your food is great steve! KEEp it up man!
