Doubt-: 37:39,sir instead of taking log on both sides,i wrote x^-2 on RHS,now since base are equal on both sides.i equated their powers and then i got y=2,-4..cant understand that how y would become 0 using this methoed that i used...please clarify...

Sir at 39:16 you said the base of all log are same. But they aren't. There is one log with base 3 and other with base 10(as you said that log with no base is taken 10). Here the log with base 10 or no base is the one you had multiplied on both sides to solve the question. Or sir is it that you had multiplied log with base 3, on both the sides??
I think sir had taken log at base 3.... Not at base 10. If in a question, base is missing there , then we assume base as 10. I think so 🤔
