One of my favorite Rippingtons songs 😊😊😊. I've been a fan of theirs since 1988 (I was 6 then). Now 30 yrs later I'm still a HUGE FAN of theirs!!! It would be nice to see them perform live in concert. I would definitely love to 👀 and 👂them perform this song live. That'll be a moment I'll never forget and that's what's up!!!
I agree. This is probably one of my favorite tunes by The Rippingtons. It has a little bit of everything that moves me in a song. Amazing melody, groove and a great amount of emotion. Amazing!
On board with that view. I've seen 20 or so concerts from about 1990 to 2015, and while the line-up has changed the music is consistently great. My preference was the 1990s band...but, it's all good as guys go do projects on their own, etc. Russ is the man. I have all Ripps CDs and Russ and Kim Stone side projects. It's fun to just plow through all/most of that over a weekend.
You will most likely be blown away by what I call "the wall of sound" that they project. BTW, I grew up in Richmond, IN, both parents from Dayton, and went to Miami for grad school. Please send good sweet corn and tomatoes to AZ!
You, sir, are a gentleman and scholar; you just summed up exactly what I was thinking about The Rippingtons!! I first heard the band on a long flight and I've been hooked to them ever since. Although the trip was for business, these guys make it seem like it was a vacation!!
Twice as in 2 times I was given the privilege, to give honor to Russell, paid 2 x money gives me the rights , knowing Russell and his Rippingtons they're not the type to say U want ur money back .A class act ,sounded like the best cuts right from studio that good the Rippingtons. Colorado springs TINY s,twice they came through making pit stops to living the place Up ,late 1990s man when they got to kicking it ,the Japanese sax player Ken Kasuwa (however I spell)the best sax player the Rippingtons ever had, taking nothing away from Russ the man ,I really thought Kashuwa the sax was ,what is really Freeman the guitar . I 'll Never forget when the show you think about over , money well spent all good. Lights comes on Russ and his Boys gather up their shit, ooops instruments start walking off stage all of a sudden they stops look at each other as if, U want to give them more ,30 minutes more of the Rippingtons man what a performance .They pulled the same shit the second my last time seeing the Rippingtons ,got me again ,all parts of the show. Some say Russ is from Woodland Park ,Pikes Peak area about 30 minutes drive from the sPRING with due respect a tiny ASS s.

I love The Rippingtons! I've been listening to them since the mid 80's when I move to WA state and got hooked on Smooth Jazz
