advice to those watching... don’t be afraid to make lower offers or counteroffers!! you get multiple “offers” and can barter with the seller for a bit ... you end of saving so much $$ and their first offer is definitely not the lowest they would accept

I Love the fact that you show people they can be trendy without buying from shein etc!!!
I discovered thrifting on Ebay during these last 2 lockdowns, since my local charity shop has been closed. And even though I have purchased a few fast fashion pieces, I still prefer more than half my clothing purchases to be secondhand. And stuff I've been finding on Ebay has been AMAZING, especially jackets, coats, jeans, shoes and vintage button downs with really fun prints etc.
I'm in the UK so there is nowhere near the same amount of stuff available from within the UK compared to what's available if you're shopping within the United States. I could buy from US sellers but it would cost a fortune in shipping and then there's customs/VAT to consider etc.
Regardless though I fully recommend looking for cool stuff on Ebay, whether you're in the UK or the US and this video will be so helpful for novices because when even though I've been using Ebay since it first became a thing. It can be a little intimidating to navigate first of all, plus shopping for secondhand clothing is a very different experience and requires more discretion and knowing what to look out for in terms of sellers and feedback etc. I still get super nervous when it comes to buying stuff on auction, my bf is more experienced in that realm so admittedly I often ask him to bid for me lmao.

Tip on Ebay: You can press the "Make Offer" button and haggle with the seller, sometimes they're very reasonable and offer you a really good price. I got an $80 dress for less than $20, sometimes you just try your luck. 🌞

girl i need you to stop giving away all the ebay secrets 😑 lol but i love these tips! another thing i do when i search on there is set item location to US only. it really cuts down on all of the extra results. also some ppl don't label their clothes properly/don't know the value so if you're willing to put in the time you can find some cheap vintage gems in the normal clothing section

I hate shopping on eBay because the shipping prices are sometimes higher than the actual clothing and it’s very frustrating. Depop is my holy grail for secondhand and the sellers are very accommodating as long as you don’t lowball them 🤩
