Thankyou for sharing that mr Bryce. Crazy to think I'm in lounge room in Australia getting my weekly mechanic lesson got love they net and you for sharing your experience. Peace
Checking in after the fact for yet another video. I'm working at 6:00, but I check all these out after they post I've never understood guys who wail on a stone cold engine. Personally, I'm a fan of getting on the bike while it's still pretty cold, and riding it really easy up the street. Let it get a couple miles on it, and some heat built up, then twist the wick. Now, with fuel injection, these late model bikes run pretty good Stone cold. And for some reason, guys are having head and base gasket leaks Think it has anything to do with the cylinders having not expanded to put a full load of stretch on the head bolts? At least that's my theory.. Keep on keeping on George, and I'll keep watching!
that's why some of these guys with a 128 m8 have scored cylinders because they don't no or care to no about forged pistons. You have to let these motors heat up before taking off.good video George
So George for a good sealing cylinder that has been properly honed, is straight … what are the minimum and maximum clearances you suggest piston to cylinder? Or do you follow piston manufactures spec per piston material? On a Harley-Davidson
