There are many times that I met people who hold titles like CEO and Directors in the corporate world. However, many of them were rude and berate young executives. See but that's the thing though, EVERYBODY gets yelled at by someone else all the time in life, I've little doubt that this woman's yelled at someone at some point or other too in circumstances she probably saw as justifiable, yet the person on the receiving end didn't think they deserved it. That's just life, man! Humans are humans, there's no changing that, nor does it automatically equate with the person doing the yelling being some horrible, evil monster. This is not an anomaly here, and I have little doubt she's leaving out plenty of the story, even bits that probably don't paint her in the prettiest of lights either. And point of fact whether it was an acceptable one to her or not, he DID seek her out to apologize in the way he was capable of at the time....he didn't HAVE to do that! He could've just let the moment, if it did indeed happen, exist as it existed and moved on without saying a word of ANY sentiment of contrition! Also, honestly, from how she describes it, she HAD the opportunity to express to him that what he did hurt her in a calm, way that would've accepted his apology and perspective of that moment while letting him know it hurt. They then could've been mature adults about it, shook hands in peace and moved on, moment resolved on BOTH sides, and maybe even have gained respect for each other and become friends. But no, she sat on this until an opportunistic moment out of some misguided sense of revenge! It's just ridiculous, and it ain't gonna get her anywhere.

What a nothing burger. First of all this is the director's fault for not cluing in Johnny. She said it herself it's a big monologue and to Johnny she is constantly distracting him from his monologue with ridiculous laughter. Remember when Christian Bale was caught on audio ripping into someone on set? Remember how he isn't a wife beater and we forgave him because that's just how frustrating it is for someone to walk into your scene or burst out laughing in the middle of takes. She also said it herself when she said this was AGES ago, when Johnny was still in his 20s. The most serious of actors take their craft most seriously. As an actor she should have understood how Johnny felt instead of trying to throw him under the bus in order to generate attention for herself as her in the waning of her own career. That's exactly what this is. Telling this story now in the manner she did was doing so with hopes of it getting attention. This me over here crying my eyes out for her. 🙄

Kate James perjured herself on the stand during the UK trial and as such is unreliable, she had zero evidence to support her absurd claim that Heard spat on her and was found to have conspired with Depp to accuse Heard of abuse and lied about in under oath. Tasya Van Ree never claimed Heard abused her and supported her during the divorce and afterwards, to the length that she wrote a public statement in support of Heard and testified in her favor. Furthermore (weirdly) Depp’s legal team did not call the MALE officer who arrested Heard to testify and called an airport worker instead (Leonard). Whitney always supported her sister so that’s another lie, I could go on for days. Lastly no doctor EVER diagnosed Heard with any mental disorder, they diagnosed her with PTSD from Depp’s abuse. Yet Depp was diagnosed with BIPOLAR and NPD. I guess your mental illness got the best of you and drove you to write these sick and crazy lies.

She is no longer in the industry which is why she’s comfortable speaking up. The director was an asshat who was also afraid of Johnny. Sometimes directors have more power and sometime actors have more power if they are in huge demand. Johnny was recorded by Amber telling her to shut up, sit down and not to speak when he’s talking. He was verbally intimidating with a temper. If I were with him I’d be afraid that it might escalate to violence. I still side with him concerning his trial but he decked a worker on the set of City of Lies. Trashed hotel rooms. Was arrested for threatening paps. I only wish more had been recorded.

AH was absolutely confirmed to be perpetrator of DV against Depp & to have lied & defamed him with malice.
Also that UK trial was an absolute sham! The connections the Judge had with the Defendant The Sun/Dan Wootten run deep. Connections with Judge's son & much more. Also AH was dining with Judge's wife. The conflict of interest there is a lot. Not to mention that AH was only a witness there, didn't have to provide any info she didn't want to & Depp wasn't allowed to present much of his case. It's hilarious people try to push UK decision as some kind of flex. It's pretty blatant what a sham it was.

I did much research & read transcripts, sidebars watched analysis from multiple places. Asa person who is a DV survivor I am appalled at what AH did in lying & also being actually perpetrator of DV. It's a shame that some people still believe her but the burden of proof was on Depp in the USA & it was certainly proven she was guilty of defamation with malice as well as her exposing herself on the recordings as abusive. There's even proof he tried to leave the situations to defuse things & their counselor said AH would rather start a physical fight than allow him to leave. She's a bit of an enigma - All of the actresses (and actors) that Depp has ever worked with have praised him. (Ellen Barkin is an exception - she had an intimate relationship with Depp that didn't end amicably; according to Depp he wasn't interested in long-term relationship).
Lola seems to be in a class by herself. As far as all of the actors and actresses that have worked with Depp, Lola appears to be the only person who's had a problem with him.

But I do think he shouted at her with expletives/or she remembers he shouted at her in a very intimidating/hostile manner. I think he thought that she was purposefully making fun of him and ruining the take each time and went to confront her. I mean how are you expected to confront someone like that? "stop laughing at me :(". He 'set her straight' so to speak.

While I wish she had spoken sooner about this (i.e., during the trial), please thank Lola so much for opening up about Johnny Depp's abuse like this nonetheless. It's no secret in the industry that Depp has been a nightmare to countless people in his life. For instance, Ellen Barkin, Mike Newell etc have similar stories to tell about his violent behaviors on set. What has been shielding him over the years are his money, connections, and celebrity status. This is one reason why I was furious at so many people during the trial pretending like Amber was lying and crazy when everything she said conformed exactly to Depp's behaviors over the years.
I have no doubt that an incredible number of women out there (including Vanessa Paradis and Kate Moss) have even more horrific experiences at the hands of Depp. I only hope that someday they will be as courageous as Lola to finally speak out against Depp so that Amber will be vindicated and everyone that ever called her crazy for outing that monster will finally apologize to her.
I always wished that guy Gregg 'Rocky' Brooks had taken his lawsuit to trial. Johnny Depp admitted to beating the guy up in a GQ interview, had his PR people scrub it from the interview, and then came up with defamatory explanations for why it happened (like that Depp was defending a homeless black woman... and knowing his sketchy history with race, LOL is all I have to say to that). But I 100% understand why Gregg Brooks wouldn't have wanted to after watching the entire world unfairly and wrongly destroy Amber Heard.
Remember that when Depp was dating Kate Moss, he told Hunter S. Thompson something like, "she takes a good beating." Even if he was being facetious (which I doubt he was), that's not something to joke about. And I refuse to believe he gave Vanessa Paradis $150 million for absolutely no reason. That's NDA-type money.
I can't wait until ALL the people he has hurt feel comfortable enough to speak out against him, but I am SO happy Lola spoke up eventually about what kind of absolute monster that man is, and what kind of monster Amber saw in her marriage. Lola is very brave for this. I'd love to thank her, especially for drawing parallels between the way he screamed at her and the way he treated Amber.

My honest reading of this as a filmworker is, Lola was a day player probably below #50 on the cast grid, who was in for work the day in question as a glorified background performer, and the implication of the direction, if even given by the director himself, or even the 1st AD, to laugh, was to mime laughter, while being in a party scene. Not to actually vocalize a loud laugh. She clearly was the idiot in this moment, not Johnny. He was kind enough to educate her, so, she should consider herself welcome and grateful for the paid lesson.

I’ve acted in theater not as professionally as some but honestly it doesn’t sounds like Depp’s fault. It is the director didn’t communicate with Depp about what Lola is going to do. Depp misunderstood and thought Lola isn’t focus on working trying to get more shots of her as a newbie. In entertainment world, I am sure Depp had met many, who tried to more than director asked for to get exposure and attention. As Depp trying to do his thing, he did got distracted by her and didn’t knew Lola’s “laugh” was requested by director. Although Depp sure can express his frustration in better attitude but more than two times of “fcked up” and everyone on set has to do everything again and again sure can set some temper. I wouldn’t pin this on Depp. I don’t even like Depp.

Even Joey from Friend they joked on it too) so they had to do the scene over and over. It was director’s fault not communicate to casts and when Depp lost his temper, right after cut as she described, director didn’t step up defending for her, telling Depp it was his instructions and calm him down. As leading roles not only need to act but also to remember their lines, they are under different pressure than fillers on the set. Not saying verbal abuse is ok but don’t expect actors to be saints with no temper. You have never snap under stress or when someone on your nerves? If not, good for you but a lot of us can’t be as good. It was more director’s fault than Depp, both actors were collateral due to director’s incompetent. I don’t even like Depp, no need to defend for him. Many actors in show biz are known “hard to work with” while some are absolutely true but other people can also be as hard to work with as well. I was in small theatre and there were drama every day, I can’t imagine working with film crews.

I've been chewed out by Robert DeNiro for being in his eyeline and blowing his mojo. I deserved it and consider it not only a fun story but a badge of honor in a silly way. Summer of 1986. DeNiro is a great actor and a very nice person in real life. And he's actually shy. I pissed him off because I was a stupid kid in his eyeline staring, fanboying, and smiling at him while he was trying to do very serious lines. I am sure Depp -should it be completely accurate, which I highly doubt, was in character and I can completely relate to an actor in headspace not letting go. She should NEVER have told this story and its an attention grab. No reason to tell it, and at the very least, qualify with his purported "Sorry, I hope we're okay, I was still in character" response. She's an adult child. Grow up.

So for over 20 years she never mentioned this to anyone, and now she decides to talk about it.
Amber was originally believed and Johnny lost out on movie roles and was vilified in the public eye. So you can’t say that “nobody believes women” cos Amber was being made an ambassador for the ACLU and even wrote an op Ed about a story that was made up, all so she could boost her public profile.
